The food at Joe’s is good. The waitstaff and manager(Rozz) are god awful. This review is about Rozz(nastiest manager I’ve ever encountered in my life– would have been fired on the spot if her boss saw her behave this way). Ordered a happy hour dish… The waiter said happy hour was until 9:30. 20 minutes later he comes out and says he made a mistake and happy hour was until 7. We requested the waiter to ask his manager to charge us the lower price for the appetizer and he came back and said«she said no.» Strike 1. Our meals come out a half hour later. I asked for my cranberry walnut salad to be undressed as I am on a doctor ordered diet. It came out with dressing. Strike 2. My friends ahi tuna came out raw when he requested it to be cooked. Strike 3. I then ask for the manager. This nasty woman by the name of Rozz came out. I explained the situation to her and she said verbatim«too bad» about the appetizer. Fine. I then told her we requested the tuna to be cooked and no dressing on the salad. Rozz replies saying«what do you want me to do about it?» I was dumbfounded by her response, what did she think I was telling her for? I want you to take it back clearly… Ten minutes later my salad comes out, it was undressed but significantly smaller than the first one. Five minutes later the ahi tuna comes out in Rozz’s hands. She says with massive attitude«does this work for you?» She threw the plate down and stomped across the bar. All in all, this woman is an epic fail of a manager. She did not comp anything and clearly cannot train her staff as they were promoting happy hour when there wasn’t one. Another note, Joe’s, learn to clean your tables as mine was sticky and filthy or your restaurant will end up like papa razzi next door. I will never return based on my experience with this woman. Adiós Joes American Bar and Grille!

This place was really delicious, and the waiter was really nice and helpful in helping us with my brothers toddler and food. I will definitely be going back!

I went there with my wife on a Saturday after leaving the mall. The place was empty and sat in the bar area at one of the pub tables. There were people at the table next to us, they were eating. The waiter walked past our table to check on them and then continued pass us. He then returned and asked them if they wanted desert and then walked pass us again. After sitting there for 5 min with out any interaction from the staff we decided to leave. We asked for the manager on the way out That is when the waiter asked if we were helped

I will say that at first I was slightly intimidated, the big front and dark wood is different than I am used to. Our server joe was very friendly and out going and offered great suggestions. The spinach artichoke dip was as beautiful as it was tasty, with nice chunks of artichoke. I endulged in the short rib meatloaf which was to die for, moist tender and huge in flavor. If you ever get dessert the skillet cookie will blow your mind and taste buds I will be back for sure :))

american joe’s was a staple for us; especially their brunch and luncheon menu. they changed the menu @ 3 weeks ago. this is not always a bad thing, but they changed their signature bread and the way they make some of their menu items. it was not for the better. i’m not sure why this was done. however, they have lost a steady customer. i did not try their signature american joe salad. wonder if that goes the way of the other items.
