Dr. C. Starck Johnson is the team ophthalmologist for the Denver Broncos. He received his MD from Harvard Medical School. Dr. Johnson also received his fellowship in cornea and LASIK surgery at Duke University.

My first impression was great, lasik consultation wasn’t too long and the Dr was friendly and gave me a treatment plan.
Price was a bit steep at $ 2100 per eye but I was still considering having my work done there.
Unfortunately communication afterwards was horrible. The front desk is certainly not trained to return simple phone calls and getting back to patients.
I was trying to reach them for 4 days about some additional questions I had about my treatment plan. My eye doctor has also tried calling them several times to set up the pre-​op and post-​op. No luck. Not even a call back.
For those reasons, I went elsewhere to have my work done.
I don’t have any doubt that the doctors are amazing but unfortunately the staff is dragging this office down.

I’m a week post-​surgery and couldn’t be happier. I was honestly pretty scared about doing this and had put it off for years… now I feel ridiculous. It was fast, painless (seriously, laser hair removal and waxing are worse), and easy. Took about 5 minutes for the entire procedure. There were 2 upfront appointments plus day-​of that made me feel they were checking/​being cautious on everything. The staff was SO nice. Especially the woman who talked to me pre-​op and kept my mind off of getting my eyeballs operated on by being chatty and fun. The doctor had amazing credentials — Harvard MD and other things that soothed my mind. After the 5 min surgery, my fiancé drove me home and I slept for 5 hours (they give you something similar to Valium to calm you down and make you sleepy — it works!). When I woke up, I could SEE. Mind officially blown. Every night I don’t take my contacts out, every day I don’t feel them dry and irritated, every morning I don’t put them in, is a day where I’m so glad I did it. So freaking happy.

Insight LASIK was an excellent business. My husband got LASIK eye surgery here and had a great experience all around. The office area is very professional looking and there’s magazines if you get bored. The cool part I found about this experience is that you can actually watch the LASIK procedure being done in a little guest waiting area. An assistant will sit down with you and tell you exactly what is going on in the operating room. So, If you’re coming with a significant other or friend it can be very educational!

They may perform good surgery, but my experience never got that far. I started with submitting the online form for information. After a week and a half of no response, I decided I’d call. I was immediately put on hold for several minutes. I finally hung up and waited a while to call back. Same thing this time, but I waited through the hold. When the employee answered she was not willing to give much information about their process or services and literally asked me, ‘well, what do you want to know?’ When I stated that I wasn’t sure about using them for my vision correction due to service, she hung up. I’m not sure I could be convinced this company is worth spending my money with. It was a sad, sad experience in customer service.

The place is cool and calm and just right from the front desk to the surgical suite!
I wish that at this point in the review that I could say Mr. Magoo is no more but alas he must retain his glasses!
So what happened was… after another extremely through examination of my eyes an anomaly was found that was so small, that had I not been examined by a Harvard trained Ophthalmologist who just happened to do his post grad work on Corneal anomalies I may not be typing this review and to that I owe my eyes to Dr. Starck Johnson. You and Dr. Jackson will always have a place in my heart for your dedication and professionalism when it comes to LASIK surgery and I will always be in your debt!
