I wanted to say thank you for the outstanding service I received at D & R Auto Glass. My drivers side window was damaged by road debris on the freeway. After researching national chains to local I chose D & R, just a few miles from my home. Why? Great reveiws and fair pricing. I was able to make a same day appointment and it was completed within an hour. Wow!! I am still amazed at the overall service; friendly and helpful on the phone, the technicians were friendly and helpful, what was supposed to take 2 hours only took 1, and I saved a chunk of change. Just had my windshield replaced after it got hit by a rock on the freeway and the crack spread. Excellent service, trustworthy, very nice and super super fast! They were also a lot cheaper than the other places I called. Definitely recommend!

A bird broke my windshield, so I needed the whole thing replaced. I called my insurance and they made a suggestion. I decided to check Unilocal so I could get some other quotes.
When I called for a quote, the lady that helped me was courteous, and helpful. Their quote was at least $ 100 better than the next one, and they could accommodate my schedule.
I got the window replaced today, and it looks amazing. The guy that did it was friendly and professional. He repeated multiple times that if I had any concerns, or if there were any problems, to let him know and that he would fix it right up.

First of all, I rarely write a review in Unilocal.They are very honest and professional regardless of the place (looks shady but don’t worry) and I think their business deserve a very good review. So here is the story, I had three star cracks on the lower side of the front windshield. The cracks are pretty big and other shops that I called around refused to do the repairs for me. The guy told me the risk and everything (very knowledgeable). Although the cracks spread a bit during the process, they managed to seal up all the cracks. It went better than what I had expected. They even gave me a discount due to the spreading, very honest and professional of them to do that. Now I know why they have such a good review, I really recommend this place overall. Thanks D & R!

Hard to find — it’s in the alley behind Island Tire on the east side of the block.
Called Safelite first first since they have the catchy jingle… «safelite repair, safelite replace.»
Then dropped by the D&R auto glass store and got a quote for $ 50 less! The owner told me it would take two hours to get the windshield delivered and that I could come back in two hours if I needed to use my car. I returned later and got my new windshield installed in less than an hour.
It’s always nice to save some $$$$ and help out a local small business.

Had a small chip in my windshield that needed repair so I came here after reading all the Unilocal reviews. To be honest, when I arrived at the location, I was a little reluctant to leave my car and I was kind of doubtful that they’d do a good job because it looked like a hole-​in-​the-​wall place. They also warned me that sometimes when they try to repair the chip, it can end up cracking the whole windshield and that they would not be liable for this. I left my car with them anyways and 45 minutes later, it was fixed without issues! Marco even knew that I had an invisible tint on my windshield (I had forgotten to tell him this) and he fixed my windshield in a way that didn’t compromise my tint! I couldn’t have been any happier with my experience here! Would definitely come here again. I paid $ 45 for windshield repair and it’s lifetime warranty.

They got me in the same day as I called and fixed my side window in 45 mins. Excellent service and saved me at least $ 75-​$ 100 off other quotes I have gotten. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Little glass shop in the back alley. Awesome customer service. Honest and straight forward. When Safelite couldn’t fit me into their schedule for 3 days I started looking around on Unilocal.Its no wonder this place has 5 stars! The shop isn’t fancy but the owner passes on every nickle of savings to its customers. Safelite quoted me 140.00. I paid 45.00 and saved 3 days. Not even worth the trouble to claim on my insurance. Totally worth finding this out of the way location. I was able to walk down the street to Subway, snag a sandwich and come back to a repaired windshield. A++++++++ As good as it gets.

After I parked too close to a baseball game, I needed a new front windshield on a Saturday afternoon. I called Safelite, which had been my go-​to place, and they could do the repair on Tuesday for just over $ 300. So I called D&R as my Plan B. Marco did the job that day for $ 200. He saved me three days and over $ 100, and the work was flawless. In addition (and without even me asking), he moved a parking permit sticker from my old windshield. As a bonus, I met his very cute 2 year old son. Don’t let his location or lack of a franchise name put you off for even a moment.
PS. This is one of my very few 5-​star ratings.

Went there to get my window replaced on a 2015 Tacoma that had been chipped then cracked. D&R got me in right away and charged me $ 165 out the door. They seemed to do a great job, had to clean some smudges left over but not a big deal. Would definitely return if I had to or recommend this place to friends or family. They were friendly and professional.

Every time I have had to visit here, I have had the most pleasant experience. The phone customer service and the job on my windows have been nothing but amazing. BMW can be challenging to work on but these guys are knowledgeable and extremely friendly.
Sometimes too friendly to be true!
I will definitely return next time.

These guys definitely deserve 5 stars.
They were very frank about the potential downsides of repairing a windshield chip due to the location of the chip being near the frame. Apparently, the closer the chip is to the frame, the more pressure there is on the windshield and the higher likelihood of any repair causing a larger crack.
After pricing out the downside scenario of potentially needing to replace the entire windshield, I had them attempt the chip repair. They were very meticulous and low and behold, the repair went without a hitch. They provide a lifetime warranty on the repair, and in the event the windshield cracks and needs to be replaced in the future, they will credit the original repair cost to the windshield replacement.
These guys have integrity and do a great job so don’t hesitate to drop by in the event you need a chip repaired!

This is a small father-​son business next to a mechanic in Pasadena. My windshield got cracked by the passenger seat airbag and looked like it needed a complete replacement. I called D&R Auto Glass and they set me up right away with an available time and were very personable over the phone. They even called before my appointment apologizing that they will be 5 – 10 minutes late!
I showed up and they took a look at my windshield and confirmed that I’d need a new windshield entirely and that it would be ready in 45min-​1hr. And sure enough, I got a call within the hour that it was done. I couldn’t even tell the difference between my new and old windshields. They were very knowledgeable and made me feel confident about it. The price was very good (was expecting over $ 250 based on Google search but ended up being less than $ 150) and the service was fantastic. Hopefully I won’t need to go back anytime soon but if I do, I will be back here.

I came here to replace the rubber molding around my windshield. The rubber was falling apart. I called a few places before coming here. I don’t know much about cars but the prices I was getting seemed pretty high for a piece of rubber. $ 80, $ 70, $ 65.
Some places even told me they wouldn’t replace the rubber molding because they «had to» replace the windshield as well. My windshield wasn’t broken so I found that unnecessary. I called this place and they quoted me $ 55. I took my car in and they were finished in about an hour, maybe less.
They also showed me the packaging for the rubber molding as proof or originality.
I didn’t realize they were only taking cash (not sure if that is still the case) but I only had $ 50 on me. They didn’t give me a problem about it! That was by far the best customer service. I will be sure to return here for any future glass issues.

I took my BMW’s cracked windshield here after reading reviews. After he looked at it he said he might be able to fix it. I asked for clarification and he stated that because of the angle that the rock hit the glass it might not take.
After spending an hour there, he was right it didn’t take. The chip is still there and doesn’t look any different than before except that it wasn’t going to increase in size.
My disappointment? In the fact he charged full price even though it wasn’t fixed. I asked for a discount and he declined. I would probably try again if I get another crack.
