Again, we needed a patch job completed on our rooftop AC unit. The elbow was cracked and leaking water. Our home warranty sent out a company the day before that was too scared to scale the steep pitch of our condo unit to reach the unit. Finally got a call from Cool Blew and they fixed everything.
The receptionist noted that I would need the last appt of the day during our 4 hour window of 10−2pm. And sure enough, the technician called me at 1:30 to let me know he was on his way. I didn’t have to miss 2 hours of work again.
He arrived, took a look at it and climbed right up with his tools. He was done in about an hour. Was it a good job? I hope so. We’ll find out during our next rain storm. But he showed me what he did to all the joints and potential areas where rain might be leaking in. I don’t climb up there to look… that’s why I hire companies to do it for me. But just knowing that someone was able to get up there without a problem was enough reassurance to me.

Cool Blew has some great people working with them. This guy Shawn F. was fantastic. He’s so knowledgable and such a gentleman. I would recommend him for anyone wanting great service and a job extremely well done! Thanks again!!!

Absolutely DO NOT recommend this company. I ended up with this company through my Home Warranty and at this time, do not have a choice to switch to another. I am not one to run and rate companies online but this company has made sure that I get a good picture as to the way they handle their business. They are extremely unprofessional, unaccountable and ill equipped to handle summer peek service requests. Their manager was extremely rude and staff is not on the same page at all. Since the beginning, I have had to place calls for service, request status on parts, requests for scheduling, etc. Oh, to make matters worse, the manager lied to me about the arrival of equipment for my unit and he made sure he threw in a special insult to me while I was on the phone asking for answers/​expedited service. I am only rating them online in hopes to save others from having to deal with them. Please go elsewhere and save yourselves a headache. They need better systems in place and to adequately train their staff. At present, with what they have to offer, they are a disservice to the valley.

I struggled between a one star and two star rating. This, I believe, is my first one star rating on Unilocal!
The good: Promptly took my call, scheduled an appointment and arrived on time. The tech was very nice, appeared knowledgeable and willing to work with us regarding solutions and price.
The bad: I purchased my home and had Cool Blew out within six months (not during the peak time) to do a tune up /​service call and address an issue regarding lack of AC to the back rooms of my house. After the inspection the tech told me that my unit was a 2.5 ton for my 2300 sq. ft. home! He recommended that I replace the smaller unit with a larger 5 ton unit. After a great deal on convincing and asserting that I needed to upgrade, we decided to put it off since the current unit mostly worked.
THANKFULLY WE WAITED. As it turns out, I decided to ship the high price quote provided by this company only to discover that the unit is a 5 ton unit. I finally had a tech review the unit’s model number to confirm this! So, I was lied to in an attempt to make a sale. I will not use the tech’s name here because the company should be regulating its people. However, I believe the companies goals might be misplaced. That being said, one star because I cannot stand dishonest people!

This company is incompetent and when they get tired of call backs because they can’t fix an issue, they avoid returning calls. I would not recommend this company.
I tried to post a one star rating on their website, but apparently it gets rejected when you do not give five stars. That type of rating system is fraudulent.

Absolutely terrible. 4 days and no working AC. DO NOT contact them. Plain negligence. 24 hours go by after visit with no part ordered that are needed until I get on phone and I’m expressing frustration.

Paid 69 $ to find out what I already knew was wrong with my system. I was assured that it would be fixed by the weekend. Never even got a call back. I had to contact another company to come out and they fixed it the very next day.

Cool Blew is an excellent company! Shane provided great information about services and I’m a happy maintenance member!

My service company chose Cool Blew for our annual AC Tune up. My wife & I always have misgivings when we have to have ANYONE touch our AC due to the fact that every tech that comes has messed it up. But after our service from Cool Blew & specifically your technician Joseph (Joe) N., we will only allow Joe and Cool Blew to service our AC. Joe was understanding when I said I was staying up there with him. He showed me stuff I never knew about running the AC & it works better now than ever before!

I am so irritated!
In December, I had no heat when it was 45 degrees out so I called my Home Warranty and they sent out Cool Blew. The guy did a lot of checking and stated that the issue was my thermostat and that it needed to be replaced, so he replaced it. I had heat and all appeared well.
Fast forward 3 months and now it is hot out and I need AC. I turn on the AC only to discover that all I get is heat even with the AC on! Obviously the thermostat is not installed right. So now, I have to call the home warranty AGAIN and pay ANOTHER $ 65 to have the thermostat installed correctly. Since it has been past 30 days, the original work order is closed and my only option is to pay $ 65 again.
Seriously, shouldn’t that be a basic no brainer for an AC/​Heating company? That they can accurately install a thermostat??? I told the warranty company to send me someone else this time. I don’t have time for that kind of incompetence.

My heat pump started making a loud noise and shaking the whole house while running. I submitted a work order through my home warranty (Old Republic) and was referred to Cool Blew. I had never heard of them so I looked to Unilocal and saw the good reviews. Johnny showed up on time and even covered his shoes when entering my home. He worked on my system and had the problem corrected quickly. I will request Cool Blew every time I need service.

Great service call from Johnny Reza, the HVAC tech who serviced my AC. My AC didn’t feel cool enough so I called OneGuard, my home warranty service, to send someone out. My dog, Sadie, and I want to feel comfortable since it’s still hot. Johnny Reza was very, very professional and found the drain for the humidity was clogged. It was a simple fix to unclog it but he was very polite and professional. Will definitely request Cool Blew for further HVAC services if I need them.

Had to use these guys because of our home warranty. Our AC stopped working on Saturday evening, called them as soon as I got their info from the warranty company. Their website says 24 hr service, the guy that answered said sorry, we don’t have anyone working tonight. They’ll get the warranty companies message tomorrow & someone will call to schedule you. I had to call them on Sunday to schedule it. Was told between 8 – 12 on Monday & the tech will call on his way, so i took half a day off from my new job. Just after 12 & still nothing. Call the company & am told the tech will arrive within the hour. Finally at 1:15 the tech arrives. Our A/​C unit went out and needed to be replaced. I called three company’s and Cool Blew had the best price. They were able to install the unit during a time that worked best for us. Shane and Shawn were outstanding during the install, professional and informative. I would recommend them to ANYONE and EVERYONE!!!

Our Home warrantee company (One Guard — very good people) responded to our air conditioning unit not working. They sent 3 companies who all made changes that did not work more than a day. And then they sent us Cool Blew.
The tech showed up on time the same day they were called. He was courteous, well spoken and did clean work. He changed a capacitor, and added coolant to the system but then he asked if we also ran an evaporative cooler on this system. I told him we did and he said he needed to go on the roof and check the «Damper» system between the Evaporative cooler and the Air conditioner.
He found that the Damper was not closing so that most of our air conditioned air was going outside. He fixed that and the AC works better now than it has for several years.
Could not have been a better outcome for work done on the house.
I do have to comment on the call center. They were courteous but definitely discouraged any idle chit chat. I realize they did their job and we got what we needed and I really have no complaints but the initial call was great but a follow up call to give them my cell number was pretty curt.
Bottom line — I would call them again and ask for the same tech.

Solid service. our Home Warranty has had these guys come out twice now for 2 seperate issues. Both times they were prompt and friendly and fixed the issue.
No complaints.

Very concerned when my five year old air conditioner stopped working, I felt that is should not have failed since it was not that old and it was a very good brand.
I have a home warranty; my last experience with the air conditioning company they sent was not a very good one, I even called to get my service fee refunded since he could not find anything wrong with my unit and was out of my home in 5 minutes.
I guess they are in a hurry because they don’t make much money on customers like me with a home warranty.
Needless to say this go round, I was apprehensive when Cool Blew came to repairing such a new air conditioner. It was very expensive and I did not want untrained technicians creating a bigger problem then what I already had. I am picky and check the ROC, BBB as well as the internet to see if the company is good or has a good reputation.
Cool Blew did a fantastic job repairing my air conditioner. The technicians name was «Robbie»; he was very professional, clean cut and very respectful, even when I asked several questions about the work he performed.
He even took the time to explain to me that he found another problem in my attic that the installation company wired wrong! I always wondered why I could not get the ac to stay on all the time. The fan would not work on the «on» position only auto.
Robbie told me he found it and corrected it for me as he was going through his checklist. I thought that was really good service since I did not tell him about it.
Now, I will always ask for Cool Blew and no one else!

Scheduled to have service done on my AC, scheduled for a four hour window in the morning one week in advance. Took a half day off work to wait for technician yet nobody showed up from 8−12pm window. I called and was put on hold for a lengthy time and they said I had the wrong window, that it was 12 – 4, which I would never schedule for any appointment due to children at school and difficulty being there. When I initially booked I confirmed the appointment twice with the scheduler and set it in my calendar while on the phone. Very difficult to deal with, weren’t able to reschedule me due to «update» so I will not be dealing with this unprofessional business anymore, stay away!
