Specialties
I work with homeowners and businesses in Marin and Sonoma Counties, looking to add a new dimension of fun and sophistication to their environments. I begin each project by coming to your home or office, familiarizing myself with your furnishings, and consulting with you on the direction you’d like to take. This includes me giving you 8″ x 10″ brush-outs (color boards) for four rooms. Then we’ll set up a return appointment to present you with up to six color boards, all included in my initial fee. Additional boards are available at a slight additional cost. I’m also available to take you to supply houses (cabinet shops, granite yards) or the Designer’s Showcase to select furniture, fabrics or materials, as your situation may require. My clients find that these trips are invaluable for selecting materials at the source. My clients say I help them expand their creative visions by organizing their projects around a palette of color. Check out my website for more information.
History
Established in 2000.
I started this business in January of 2000. My first client in Mill Valley led to hundreds more happy design clients! I started as a color designer, it grew into all facets of design including kitchen/bath remodels, material selection, lighting, furnishings, imported rugs and anything you may need to make your homes or offices more comfortable and appealing. My motto is form/function and I strive to achieve that.
Meet the Business Owner
Lisa L.
Business Owner
I grew up on the east coast, I grew up in a very creative and talented family, each member in a different area of design. I went to school in Boston (Emerson College), where I discovered how interested I was in design. I took many different types of design classes and learned so much from them. After college I worked in advertising doing graphics (paste-up & layout), as we called it then! I then decided to have a family and stopped working for close to ten years. When I returned to the working world, the industry had changed dramatically so I decided to become an interior designer. This is where my heart lies!
