Cinemark Stone Hill Town Center

A year later and this Cinemark still doesn’t take any action against the patrons who talk amd or text during the movie. I spent $ 20 to listen to the 2 teenage girl problems during the 7:30 pm showing Central Intelligence tonight. We asked them kindly to stop talking and then they started texting with each other. I received a brush off from staff when I asked for help with the situation. It really is a shame that these young adults are not being taught manners. Talking, texting, changing seats, kicking the seat, and or putting your dirty feet on top of the chair seat means that they aren’t ready to go to a movie with their friends. I won’t be back to Cinemark for a very long time.

When trying to plan a 9 year olds birthday do not bring them here!!! They finally posted movie times for Friday June 17^th on Tuesday June 14^th. The. When all 10 of us show up for a 10am showing of Alice they say that they are no longer playing it at all at the theatre as of this morning. How can you treat customers that poorly? We had plans all made for the day based on the showtime here for my daughters birthday. Thanks a lot cinemark stonehill.

The punk that was working at the register this afternoon was not helpful, rude, and unfriendly. I’m sick of these «millennials».

Great location nice addition to this shopping center, especially like all the ways they make it easy to get movie tickets online, outside and inside. It’s been clean the 3x we have gone also good selection of snacks to buy and popcorn is freshly made and not overly salty

Took the kiddos here bunch of times and it’s always been acceptable. The only thing I hate is they always change the theatre #, basically what you see in the ticket is not where you should go. I know. I know I should pay attention to the display but some days this place is super crowded and it’s just annoying. Inside theatre is pretty clean but the restrooms need attention.

I usually go to the RR location but went here to see kung-​fu panda. The staff was rude and the trays to carry your food were sticky. I asked the girl if they clean them she said yes every weekend. What? They should be cleaned everyday. Used the bathroom and the base of the toilet had old dust and pee around it. Finally complained to the manager right when I saw her she looked like she like she was still in high school. As I was talking to her I saw a pile of spilled popcorn at the exit doors. When I went to leave an hour later the popcorn was still there. Absolutely unbelievable. Never going back here again.

Came here to see Jurassic World in 3D. The movie was good but the theatre conditions was terrible. The theatre was absolutely cooking due to lack of A/​C. I really should have complained during the movie, but I would have had to interrupt many people due to where I was seated, and I didn’t want to miss the movie. But I was dripping in sweat for two hours.
I did tell management after, but they were not really concerned.

This is an above average condition theater; the seats still look new and its kept very clean despite the number of visitors to popcorn spills ratio.
The screen and sound quality are decent. And its a nice location to go to without the hassle of rude, obnoxious movie-​goers.

This theater was really gross. When i walked into the theater there was trash everywhere I dont think they even cleaned the place. There was a popcorn box in my spot when i got there and there was popcorn all over the ground, so there was crunching every step and it just had a gross enviroment. I dont think its asking too much to clean a movie theater. Half the employees werent doing anything either. I would definitely go to one of the other theaters in the area instead.

* Conveniently located close to a variety of chain restaurants for an easy movie/​dinner date night
*Usually have a decent movie selection
*Staff are friendly, but young and not always knowledgeable
Cons:
*Not an Alamo Draft house
*Inevitably some jerk is going to show up to an R rated movie with their 18 kids (all under six
of course) who will kick the back of your seat while commenting on the drugs and boobs the entire time. I know this isn’t the theater’s fault, but it will happen.
I’ll come back because it’s close by, but it’s never my first choice.

I liked this place before Stone Hill grew and got crowded but its still a good theater to go to. Clean facilities, but the staff is a bit apathetic. I guess that’s what you get when you have high school kids running the place. At the snack bar, the kid at the register wouldn’t even look at me, let alone greet me but whatever. I don’t go here for the service but to see a movie in a nice theater so this place is good for that.

You know a theater is a theater. However, this place is clean, new and uses the latest video and audio technology. Really love the sound system and the stadium seating. One of my son’s is well over 6 FT tall and no one every complains about sitting behind him here.
Typical pricey snacks bar, but theaters have to pull in a margin somewhere. If you can go early on Sunday’s it’s not crowded and the ticket prices are not bad at all.
Note to self: Take away teenage daughters smart phone BEFORE entering theater next time…

For a Cinemark theater, this was nice. The entry way is large, clean and inviting. The ticket booth is inside, and the chairs were all high-​back leatherette. My complaint is that the seat is too close to the floor, so it is uncomfortable for someone over 5 feet tall to sit for a movie without getting uncomfortable from having their legs folded up. The sound and picture quality were good.
I would go to this theater again, but it wouldn’t be my first choice. Or my second… or my third… maybe fourth or fifth choice. :)

Let me start off by saying that I really like this theater. I mean REALLY like it. I consider myself a «movie buff» and I have experienced something twice while watching movies at this theater that definitely irritated me and took away from the experience of watching those movies. What is it that seemed to have made my movie watching less than perfect at a really nice theater you ask? These fools keep forgetting to turn off the dang lights DURING the movie!!!
The first time I experienced this was when «Thor» was in theaters and my wife and I went to see it in 3D and it was a packed house. The huge sconce lights on the wall stayed on until about halfway through the movie before they were turned off! It was very irritating.
Fast forward to today when I chose to go see the new G. I. Joe Retaliation movie in 3D and it was a noon show that I paid for. Oddly enough, I was the ONLY person in the whole theater to watch the movie which I didn’t mind, but again the lights remained on DURING the movie. Since I was the only person in there and none of the employees came in to check on things, I would have been forced to miss what was a good action movie just to bring this to their attention. I just knew that someone would come in and notice but that wasn’t the case and the lights remained on for the entire time during the movie.
At the conclusion of the movie when the cleanup crew came in, I informed them that I was the only one in there and there wasn’t anything to clean and that the lights were on the entire time. They all had that look of shock or like someone had dropped the ball with this one on their faces. Not one of them apologized or even said anything about it as we walked out. As we walked towards the area of the main entrance, there was a gentleman, who I assume was the manager, near the podium where they tear your ticket and point you to your theater that the employees told that I told them that the lights were on. As soon as he heard this, he kind of looked at me just quickly enough to see me nod and confirm what he was just told while having the same shocked look on his face. I then told him that they were on the whole time as I walked past him. Again, no apologies for their mistake or anything.
I’m not the type to make a big deal over things like this or demand a refund, blah blah blah. I would just expect for companies and businesses that have people in the management or supervisor positions make sure that they KNOW how to interact with customers and handle little things like this in the appropriate manner.
Me bringing it to their attention was just to serve the purpose of them knowing that it happened so that it doesn’t happen again. It would at least been reassuring to have at least ONE out of the 4 – 5 people that heard this directly from me at least acknowledge me and help me understand that they would make sure it doesn’t happen anymore in the future. The only reaction I got was a «hmmm» aside from the one guy telling his manager.
Like I said at the start, I REALLY like the layout, technology, and everything else about this theater that’s literally 5 minutes from my house, but the only experiences I’ve ever had in my 32 years on this earth with lights being left on in a theater for extended amounts of time have been at this theater.

This is an awesome theater experience. It’s called NextGen because every theater is a digital presentation. Exceptional picture and amazing sound. When I go to a movie I want to see it in the full experience it was made to be seen.
Since it’s a relatively new theater everything is perfect. Wide rows, comfortable, reclining chairs, where every seat is a great seat. Well done Cinemark.
Oh and don’t balk at the ticket price. It’s not expensive. If you feel it is — matinée.
I do wish it had an XD theater. Now that’s an experience!

We were in Pflugerville and decided to stop & see «Saving Mr. Banks». Good movie. The theater was clean and had friendly staff. Got there about 30 min early. Decided to wait in the lobby as way too cold outside. One of the ushers was kind enough to find us & tell us we could go on inside the theater to wait more comfortably. The seats are very cushy/​comfy. Just wish you could get a cup of hot coffee in a movie theater. Need one now. Cold outside. …brrrrrrrrr!

Call me lame, but we dont go to the movies, Way to $$$$, and with just a little more than a $ 1K in my home theater, who needs it… UBER Clean, friendly… The price of the Extra’s is just crazy… They say there is an 800% up charge on popcorn, and its true. Yet very tasty… Yum, Yum… Man that is Good… Hey, I said I dont go to the movies. But when I do, this will be my choice. Close to home, lots of food choices in the area…

Just got hip to the $ 6.50 price for first movie of the day, and I LOVE IT! Now if they served some breakfast, man. BUT, hot, buttery popcorn @ 10:30am isn’t always a bad thing. Note to self though. it ISNT an original ideal. A lot of people go to the 1^st showing movie. whodathunk?! Get there early, especially if its a kids movie.

Very new, clean place! Never really that crowded. Restroomas are always cleaned and stocked. Very nice facility!
