Desert Diamond Mechanical – Heating & Cooling

We were in need of a summer «tune-​up» and of course I went to Unilocal to decide who we would use. Saw the awesome reviews for this company and decided to give them a try. Truly could not have been happier. I felt 100% confident in the assessment of our two units and our technician (sorry… can’t remember his name) was professional and spent a respectable amount of time on site. Went up in the attic to check everything out which other companies we have used never did this. In summary… this company will be the only company we use for any heat/​air service needs.

Don’t go anywhere else. In this day and age when the Heating and Cooling industry is full of companies ready to rip you off, it was a huge relief to find a company with integrity that walks the talk of excellent customer service. I spent days without my AC when it died, asking various companies to come out to look at it, just to find the right company, and it was well worth it to find Desert Diamond. Their front office staff are a joy to work with, and get to know. When I had trouble scheduling other companies to look at my AC, Desert Diamond told me they would come out whenever I wanted. I ended up deciding to replace the unit, and their technical staff are knowledgeable, and instead of a hand shake, installation, and goodbye, they spent time with me explaining the ins and outs, and I felt that I developed a working relationship with them. And the two-​year maintenance that is included let me know they truly believe in their products. The owner, Carlo, is hands-​on, and when one of his staff fell ill, and I expected the installation follow-​up appointment to be rescheduled, he came out himself to do the inspection. Did you notice I said follow-​up? Yes, Desert Diamond comes out to make sure everything is working as it should; no disappearing act for them. I’ve never liked the vents in this house, but for 15 years, no one has offered a solution. But during the follow-​up, I received a recommendation that made sense, was priced right, and I felt that this company would be my partner for life. The owner also did the initial inspection of my dead AC, and when I decided to replace it, he climbed on the roof and through the attic to ensure I would get the right load for my home, and that the ducts were in proper working order. Don’t settle for companies who walk in and write out an estimate in 10 minutes based on your existing unit, and then are gone. I had some specific concerns regarding my existing unit, and Desert Diamond offered solutions, and I was pleased to add some inexpensive bells and whistles. And now, two weeks after it was installed, my new AC is exactly what I wanted, quiet, and a large improvement over the old unit, even when it was new. But more importantly, I now have a Heating and Cooling company that I can rely on, and in the Arizona desert, that’s peace of mind.

Desert Diamond Mechanical came out and did a tune up on my ac. The lady who took my call was very nice and got me in for the next day. The guy that did it was super nice and left me a sheet on how my unit is preforming (a report card on my ac) which was nice. No pressure on their part, some recommendations, but overall, super nice guy. When we’re ready, we will definitely be calling them. Thanks again.

It’s times like this I wish Unilocal’s review ratings went all the way to 10 because Desert Diamond is definitely deserves it! We are doing construction on my new day spa and my crew informed me on a Sunday that the heater wasn’t working… This was a big issue since we needed the plaster on the wall’s to dry and it was only 54 degrees in the space. We called Desert Diamond at 8am and our problem was solved before 10am! Tamara was the coordinator we spoke with and her professionalism along with bubbly personality made the whole experience that much better. She was even kind enough to follow-​up the next day to see if everything was working great then sent me a email explaining all the details from their visit.
I will definitely be recommending Desert Diamond to anyone and everyone who need Heat or Air repairs.

Desert Diamond is the best most trustworthy out there! I had multiple issues with my AC unit and had other contractors out (sent by my home warranty company) that couldn’t fix the problems. Desert Diamond fixed it fast and were awesome to work with. So when the condensation line on my unit broke I called Desert Diamond to fix it. I called at 4:00pm and they had someone out here at 6:00pm the same day! My service tech was Steve Schilling and he was incredible. I trusted him to fix whatever he felt needed to be fixed. He was very honest about what really needed to be done without trying to up-​sell me on anything. I was so happy with him and the company I now have a service contract with them to do all the work on my unit. I highly recommend this company and Steve for any HVAC work you need to have done. Not only can you trust them but they have the best prices around!

My AC hasn’t been working for a few days now. This is the second company I have called for a quite for the repair. Steve Schilling was at my house within an hour of my call and was very professional. The other company had misdiagnosed a leak, Steve was unable to fine said leak and was able to fix the unit by replacing refrigerant. I would recommend desert diamond and Steve to friends and family.

I called my home warranty provider because I had an A/​C issue. The company assigned to my order said they could not make it for several days. Called my warranty people back and they assigned Desert Diamond. I have never been more pleased with an A/​C repair company. They were on-​time. They were polite. They were well-​groomed but even better they were knowledgeable and well prepared for my problem. Moreover they took time to answer all the questions I had. Mind you this was 6:30 on a Friday night and as I was their last call I’m sure they’d have rather been home, but they stayed until I was satisfied. Their boss has this company well placed and very well staffed to do just about anything. Let me put it this way, I want to put new A/​C units on my house. I will use this company to do that based solely on this interaction. They really are that good.

Desert Diamond Mechanical is the best Heating and A/​C company I have ever delt with. Calls into the office are always answered right away by a smiling voice and returned calls happen very quickly. I was so impressed with their level of service that I purchased a service contract with them that gives me service with any breakdown within 24hours. This summer my A/​C unit went out, and in the past when the OTHER GUYS were telling me that I would have to wait days without A/​C for someone to come out to inspect my unit because it was summer and they were busy, Desert Diamond Mechanical was at my home within 2 hours and had my system up and running… they even took care of dealing with the warranty on my A/​C unit for me and the repair cost me nothing. I have tried other service companies, but these guys give real meaning to the words SERVICE and CUSTOMER SERVICE. I am a also a Realtor in Phoenix AZ and I this company for my own personal residence as well as refer them to ALL of my Real Estate clients.
