In its heyday St Petersburg had several dozen really good Chinese restaurants. I don’t think there’s one left with linen tablecloths and tiny pots of tea. What we’re left with looks like something from Walking Dead. Tiny storefront counter service, a couple of bingo-hall chairs and rickety screen door flapping in the wind behind the kitchen. Now that I’ve held my nose and given every mom-pop shop a chance I gotta say until I hear otherwise this is my favorite Chinese in years. The mixed vegetables with orange chicken and the sweet fire chicken breast is delicious! This was my first time so we’ll see, but it was good enough to go back tomorrow.

First time I was here i thought the food was delish and it got served warm. In general that experience was very pleasant but unfortunately the second time I was there I did not enjoy my experience, the food was cold and it tasted old. I am not returning there any time soon.

4 stars for what it is, the Burger King of Chinese food. It’s pretty awesome for a place that has food sitting already cooked and ready to go.

The food was liken to what you would expect at the mall. I thought that there were a couple of things that were good but everything else was way overpriced and the chicken was rubbery, the egg rolls were horrible(we have had all levels of egg rolls but even the one of us in the group that is not pickey at all agreed). If you like this kind of thing, enjoy. I am writing a review to say that it is Mall food, for the price, you could do better in value.

I think it’s about time to update this two-sentence review from way back when I started Unilocal. At first, I wasn’t too fond of Panda Express because I always got the two entrée-one side meal for about $ 6 – 7 which, as I’ve said before, feeds both me and my girlfriend. But lately I’ve been eating the panda bowl which is a one entrée-one side, and I usually do veggies and some kind of chicken. I was impressed with the quality of the veggies for being frozen and mass produced, and since I’ve been trying to stay away from carbs this is a great and healthy meal. Entrees we’ve tried include orange chicken(a popular favorite), kung pao chicken, teriyaki chicken, chicken and mushrooms, all the shrimp entrees, and more. Most of them have been satisfying, and some have not met our expectations. Their spring rolls are also good, and I prefer them over the chicken egg roll. The interior is better than McDonalds and Burger King, with nice table tops and high tops. The outside area isn’t as nice but it certainly serves its purpose — fine for us since we always travel with the service pitty. Customer service borders between very good to great. Sometimes you get jipped on the amount of entrée received but they are generally very nice. The managers are, too. So if you’re feeling like American-Chinese, I’d recommend Panda Express. They’re pretty consistent with the quality of their food.

My family got this for dinner one night, it was decent. Nothing special, the chicken and mushrooms and beef and broccoli were good. The orange chicken was not up to par.

It has been a year since we went to one of these so we tried again. It’s awful. The chow mein was dry the chicken egg roll was well just not good. I’ve had better frozen food cooked in the microwave. Most everything is deep fried and then soaked in various different sugary sauces. Just genuinely bad. You’d be better off just eating French fries and ice cream. Maybe snicker doodles and doughnuts. Mmm, either would at least taste better. The bill for 2 of us was just under $ 20. We had gone the prior night out to Thai food for $ 22. So neither good nor cheap, but it was fast.

I love Panda Express! The orange chicken is always great. My dad and I tried their pot stickers for the first time today. They were so good that we ended up getting 2 more orders.

I realize this is commercialized, Chinese fast food. But frankly, so many of the«mom and pop» places use the same supplier, does it really matter? I like the ability to order their family meals for large groups because it tends to generate a fresh batch of each item since they do not leave very large portions in the steam tray. As a plus, you can definitely make some healthy choices and come away full without consuming 2,000 calories and the fat and grease to go with it. But, you do have to make good choices and no that doesn’t include Beijing Beef(although every now and then won’t hurt!). Also, having a drive though is definitely a bonus if you are in a hurry.

Spacious and clean dining room with jazzy music, healthy portion sizes and a decent variety of food. This location is conveniently located near the movie theatre so it’s perfect for a casual date night!

When my husband or kids get to pick what kind of take-out to get, they often pick Panda Express. It seems like they have something to please everyone. While this is a typical food-court style Asian restaurant in a stand-alone building, they make everything in small batches so it all is hot and fresh when ordered. They have your typical American style Chinese offerings, and monthly have a new«special» entrée. My favorite thing about Panda Express is their website. Before going to the restaurant you can go online and create your meal and see all of the nutritional information for what you want to order. I love the Panda Bowls, which include rice and one entrée. However, you can also get half rice(white or fried rice), half steamed veggies, and one entrée. If you choose this option, there are many Panda Bowls that you can create for under 400 calories and it is plenty of food for a filling dinner. Figuring out exactly what we want to order online and then going through the drive-thru is a great time-saver for our busy family.

When you want Orange Chicken, this is the place to go. I always find Chinese food a rather hit and miss kinda food. a place can be great one day and then suck the next. With Panda Express you get the same quality almost every time. It’s best go get your order right after the food has been prepared, I always ask how long it has been sitting there and if they can make fresh Orange chicken for me. the worse they can say is no.
