Awesome food and relaxing atmosphere. A must visit when you’re in town for happy hour or a night out with friends. I’d recommend Gabriele’s to anyone!

Great food but sometimes you wait entirely too long to get served. Wound up walking out twice due to waiting 30 minutes just to be acknowledged.

I’ve only been to Gabriel’s to pick up take out orders. The bartenders take /provide the orders. They’re fast and pleasant to deal with. So far, the wings are our staple order. We get them dry and order the sauces on the side. The BBQ sauce has a kick to it but it’s good. The teriyaki is good but after a few wings, it gets a little too sweet. The garlic/parm is yummy but also gets a little too greasy. If you like wings and want something quick, this is the place. I’ll test out the rest of the menu eventually.

We have been coming to this place for many years. If you are looking for a place to watch the games and have a beer this is your spot. The food is pretty good here as well. Tonight I had the BLT and it was yummy.

Awesome food and that goes beyond bar food! They have good fajitas and Italian food and awesome wings. This is a great place to go for happy hour or just for some drinks on a Friday night. My company often does lunch meetings here and the customer service is always great. I highly recommend.

In town for work and stopped by over here. The food was good, and the prices were pretty good too. Typical sports bar food. I’d definitely go back, but it’s not necessarily the first place I’d take somebody. Staff was super friendly and its s great environment. I had the lemon pepper chicken wrap with the Mac and cheese.

Went here to watch a fight. There was no cover, which was a plus. We didnt eat there but the food seemed pretty good. The bartenders were nice and attentive. The outside patio had a bar with a DJ which was fun. The crowd was interesting. Local people mixed with those staying in the nearby hotel motel. Outside you feel like your in SeaSide, but really your just in Piscataway, NJ. I would probably go back for drinks during the summer to sit outside and enjoy the Tiki Bar.

This was the experience that finally drove me join Unilocal. After moving back to the area after 15 or so years, I went around familiarizing myself with old haunts. I used to go here when it was Bazookas back in the day and after it became Gabrielle’s. I ate at the bar and the service was horrendous. I assume because I wasn’t being loud and obnoxious like the party next to me who was getting all the attention from the one and ONLY bartender they had working there. I never received a refill for my drink during my meal nor was even offered. I basically felt ignored the entire time I was there and had to wait about 20 mins to get my check so I could get out of there even after trying to get her attention several times. The food is actually not that bad considering how bad the service was. If I actually go back, I would sit in the dining area and take my chances there for better service. If I had Donald Trump type money, I would buy the place just to close it down but I think that isn’t that far away from happening. I’m leaving 1 star because I cannot post this review with zero stars.

Happy hour food, beer, and cocktail prices are great but the food is all very average. The wait staff is also very friendly and they do a good job of checking in on patrons. The best value for the appetizers are the $ 2 domestic drafts. Other cocktails and appetizers are $ 5.

The service is amazingly quick. Everyone is so friendly. Ask for advice with the menu to find something that suits you. There’s a family-friendly section and a true bar, where you can really unwind. There’s a solid beer selection American lagers, select microbrews and some interesting rotators. What they lack in east Belgian monk brewed beer they make up with $ 4 draughts. Far and away– my favorite bar in the area. Try the outside«tiki bar» when it’s nice out.

All-around average food and dining experience. Food was nothing to be impressed with, and not much for a drink selection like we were expecting as this restaurant is dubbed a «Bar and Grill». Truly not a family-friendly dining experience — music was blasting so loud we couldn’t hold a conversation at our table. More of a place you’d go to drink and watch football.

So I had been here before 4 an event which was totally different than coming in to have lunch. I decided to try their 50 cent wings on wednesdays because they have a lot of different flavors. I called first to make sure they were still honoring the special . After placing our order the waitress came back to tell us that there was a 2 drink minimum for the special. I was very disappointed in that but the good thing is the waitress gave us our to fountain drinks for free. When our wings and tater tots arrived they all kind of looked the same. The tater tots were greasy and had a weird aftertaste. The wings were not very hot. They seemed as if they were pre-cooked and waiting to be dressed in the different flavors to serve the crowd. We decided to give back the tater tots and exchange with french fries which came out in 60 seconds. Now we all know that French fries cannot be cooked in 60 seconds. The waitress then says that they always have french fries ready. I am a stickler for hot food but when I tasted the fries they were warm enough for me not to have to send back and they tasted a lot better than the tater tots. Now we get the bill and we find out that the French fries were $ 5 and we were charged for celery and bleu cheese. Remind you that I asked the waitress if celery and bleu cheese came with the wings and I was told yes. So that was another disappointment. Any other day I would have argued it but I was ready to go at that moment. So basically if you are in the area are in the mood for cheap wings I would suggest for you to go there. And maybe just requested everything be cooked fresh to order and come out extra hot. Even though like I said before the flavor of the wings did not impress me at all. I will be back there to try something off of their regular menu with the coupons that I found on their site and on Valpak.

I came here to see the local band the Nerds perform. This place is a great music venue! They had a rather large dance floor next to the stage and two separate bars that had fairly short lines given the number of people at the concert. Half of the bar was dancing, and the band played a good mix of songs from the 80s and current pop/rock. There was a $ 10 cover for the band, which was well worth it, because they put on such a great show. Drinks were average price, around $ 5 for a craft beer, and I was so glad they had Dogfish 60 minute on draft. I would definitely recommend coming here to see a show!

Thought we were pulling into a hotel and had to tell the husband that it’s not that kind of happy hour, lol. Nicer inside than we expected but a disappointing experience overall. We sat at the large rectangular bar and ordered $ 5 mozzarella sticks and $ 5 sliders. Sticks were ok, a bit on the burnt side. Sliders come 3 per plate. Pulled pork for husband with an odd vinegar taste. I couldn’t place the taste but it was definitely strange. Cheese steak for me and they tasted nothing like a cheese steak. Again, I couldn’t place the strange taste but it was something like a sweet bbq taste. Definitely did not taste like a cheese steak. We didn’t finish our sliders but boxed them to-go so we wouldn’t be rude and I thought maybe if I got hungry enough I’d eat them later(wishful and/or delusional thinking). We ended up chucking them and that’s saying something bc I don’t like any food to go to waste. These sliders just weren’t good. I couldn’t bear to eat them again. We only stayed for a drink — one and done!- bc this place was kind of depressing. The waitress was so nice and friendly but the patrons were a buzz kill. The food wasn’t good and it just wasn’t worth staying any longer so we continued on our crawl.

Let me paint a picture. We were at the once glorious Brick house, a shadow of the bar it once was. We had to get out of there fast before the lameness washed over us so I texted a friend of mine who suggested Gabriele’s. I had stopped going to Gabe’s about three years ago because it had gone down hill I was assured things were different. Well we got there and what a surprise! The place is totally redone. All new décor. Much more modern. I am guessing about 30 televisions. They used to have half that much. The same great bartenders I remember from years ago. They were always the stars of this place. We ordered beer and wings(8 wings for $ 5). Everything was great, service was wonderful. I had a great time! I am so happy I came back here again. This is my new again happy hour spot. See you there.

I’d say the reviews are pretty spot on with this one. If you’re in the area and find the itch to stop for a drink in a place that doesn’t get too crazy or is a chain restaurant, then this isn’t a bad place to do it. Yes, it’s a bit tacky indoors and the TVs aren’t from this century, but unless you’re bringing a date here, what do you have to worry about? They also have an outdoor Tiki Bar that isn’t a bad place to chill when it’s warm out. I give them credit for having Dogfish 60 Minute IPA on draft for $ 5. So far, this is the best price for a beer like this on tap in the area, where I don’t have to fight crowds of people and obnoxious jocks at the bar(cough, cough Brick House). Yes, it could be more lively. No, I haven’t had the food, but by a Unilocal comparison, you’re probably better off going to Buzzy’s down the street for good pub grub. Not quite a dive, yet it’s an a-ok place to check out.

Overall, this place is just okay. I came here with a couple of colleagues for a work lunch. The inside seemed very small, so we sat in the back area outside. The place itself doesn’t look appealing. Nothing really stands out when you walk in. It seems like the place is very outdated. The service is pretty good though. Our server checked up on us around every 15 minutes, making sure our drinks and plates are full. As for drinks, they were pretty reasonably priced. They didn’t have Sam Adams Cheery Wheat, but they were still carrying the Summer ale, so it was fine. They did have a nice beer selection. As for food, it was meh. We ordered all of the appetizers and I think what we liked the most was the wings. We got the hottest sauce, but it turned out to be pretty mild. Their nachos weren’t that great. The chips were very greasy. A couple of girls got salads, and they thought they were alright, nothing special. I wouldn’t recommend coming here with a large group. they have the space, but the ambiance isn’t that great. I don’t think I’ll be coming here any time soon.
