Established in 2010.

Visual Approach Photography is the new name for Robert Ashby Photography. We changed the name to better reflect what we do. Simply put, we discuss the client’s needs and desires, then «visualize» the image so that we can capture exactly what the client wants.

We offer a variety of services, from the basic portraits, senior portraits, quinces, etc. all the way through commercial photography.

Our «specialties» are boudoir, glamour, fashion, event coverage (especially fashion shows), model portfolios and designer shoots. Of course, we have the ability to cover any service you desire.

**NOTE: Since we do a lot of photo shoots on location, we require an appointment and do not accept «walk-​ins». We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Business Owner

Robert D. Ashby has been passionate about photography since he was in high school, where he purchased his first camera. While in high school, he had the advantage of developing his own film, keeping costs down. After high school, he pursued his other passion… his dream to be an airline pilot. Expenses prohibited him from pursuing his photography passion further back then. Robert is persistent and accomplishes what he sets out for. He «landed» a career for a major airline flying around the world. Now he has his sights back on photography and succeeding in helping others from behind a lens. Robert’s passion for photography is evolving and It is not uncommon for him to just grab a camera and shoot whatever he comes in contact with. One aspect Robert has been developing is his ability to mix his photography with the ability to help others. One avenue is contributing to worthy charities and giving back to the community in other ways, including complimentary photo shoots for worthy causes.
