Established in 1991.

Corporate Games, Inc. Team Building was founded with the goal of developing ways to accelerate adult learning in an enjoyable, team format. Since its inception, a wide variety of games and activities have been developed to meet a vast number of issues that face businesses today. Corporate Games events range from fun and entertaining games to serious workshops on communication, change and integration.

Business Owner

Cynthia Shon… is the founder and president of Corporate Games, Inc. Team Building, an internationally recognized team building and experiential learning company. Corporate Games specializes in creating entertaining activities and events that help teach business and communication skills– as well as promote team building. Since its inception in 1991, companies such as American Express, Microsoft, Google, Wells Fargo, Genentech, Ebay and many more have taken advantage of their creative talents.

Cynthia has a degree in Educational Psychology from the University of California at Berkeley, and is a former sales and marketing executive and corporate trainer. She is an advocate of life-​long education, and is a pioneer in developing business workshops that are interactive and fun. A member of MPI (Meeting Professionals International) for more than 19 years, she also served on the Northern California Chapter’s board of directors for four years and was voted «Meeting Professional of the Year»

I’ve worked with Corporate Games three times for Team offsites for Facebook. Cynthia and her team are creative, well organized, easy to work with and very flexible! We’ve had perfect weather for 2 out of the 3 events we’ve done. I think the true test of a great Company is how well they deal with last minutes changes and difficult situations due to factors out of everyone’s control (such as weather). We most recently did a Survivor themed offsite at Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. Cynthia went along with my crazy plan to set the activity up on the beach (even with rain in the forecast) and once we got there the rain got worse. Cynthia and her amazing staff quickly gathered up the supplies on the beach and we brought everything inside (across the sand and up two sets of stairs) within 30 mins. It was an amazing team effort and no one was the wiser about the quick change. I really appreciated the flexibility, positive attitudes, and overall execution. The event was a smashing success and everyone had a blast! Thanks Corporate Games for another awesome event! We can’t wait to work with you again :)

I have used Corporate Games three times now over the last 3 years and they are a great go-​to source for any type of team building or social event. Cynthia and her team are great to work with. They offer a wide variety of activities and will work with you to pick just the right one to acheive your team building goals. On-​site, she is very organzied and knows how to coral a large group. My teams always have fun and don’t want it to be over. Highly recommended!

Corporate Games made all the difference in our recent team building event for our entire finance team. Everyone had an amazing time during our 2.5 hour Survivor themed games, with everyone commenting that it was the best team outing they have ever attended. People still talk about the games and competition against their fellow co-​workers, and of course the infamous «chants» at the end where our CFO really got into it!
The staff that hosted our event the day of was more than accommodating to our needs and came extremely well equipped and prepared to run some AMAZING team building games. They helped work around our schedule as the day progressed, were helpful in evening out teams as players did or did not show up, and even met our extra requests of facilitating some raffle drawings at the end of the afternoon. Everyone who came out to help was friendly and always had a smile on their face.
Not only was their staff very professional and fun the day of, but all correspondences prior to the event were answered quickly and courteously. Cynthia is a great person to coordinate with and really takes the time to work with your needs to build the best possible day. I am so glad we picked Corporate Games to facilitate our team building event, and would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone looking to host an exciting, fun, entertaining, and challenging day of games and team building. Thanks Corporate Games for making our team building day a huge success!

Our event with Corporate Games was the most fun our group has ever had! We wanted to do an outdoors event to get everyone out of the office, so Corporate Games had put together an entire day of team building activities themed around the TV show, Suvivor. We broke up into five separate tribes and worked together on several games that worked our physical and mental capabilities with activities like «spear» throwing and crossing the «acid river». At the end of the day, the tribe with the most points from completing all the activities won. To this day, we still hang our tribal bandanas on the office wall! We hope to make this an annual office bonding event!

Your staff was fantastic! And from the feedback I got, and watching the teams participate, I would say the event was a big success.
Once they got started and I could wander around and watch, it was really neat to see how they worked together and how it really made them think outside the box and think about the City. Very, very cool!

What an experience! We just had a fantastic team building event thanks to Corporate Games. My teammates and I spent 3 hours working on bonding and tightening our internal business relationships without even realizing it! It was such an entertaining and inspirational way to get to know each other better. Equipped with basic materials and supplies, we designed, built, painted, cut, and glued a car, and even came up with a theme and a commercial jingle. The final product reflected our pride in creativity, team work and engineering skills.
