History

Established in 2005.

The business was founded by concert pianists Mark Anderson and Tamriko Siprashvili in 2005 to answer the need for quality music instruction in the Tri-​Valley area, especially for young beginners but also able to accommodate all ages and levels in a wide variety of musical styles and on a wide variety of instruments. Pianist, recording artist and teacher Mark Anderson is the executive director.

Pianist Mark Anderson has performed in Japan, throughout Europe and Great Britain, Ireland, Canada, and the United States. In spite of a busy teaching schedule, he is invited to perform as recitalist and soloist with orchestras throughout the U.S. and abroad.

Mark has appeared throughout Europe and the United States to great critical acclaim. In addition, he appears as solo recitalist, as soloist with orchestras, with duo partners such as flutist Robert Stallman, and with San Francisco Bay Area music groups such as San Francisco Contemporary Music Players and The San Jose Chamber Players.

Mark Anderson opened the New World Music Academy in Pleasanton, California in 2005. It continues to teach and inspire students of all ages and is a leader in innovative teaching techniques in the San Francisco East Bay area.
