Description

Specialties

Thai Street Food from the street of Bangkok. Try our Pad Thai Street Style. We have many dishes that are Gluten-Free and offer Tofu options. We also have Thai favorite cocktails: Red Light District, Bangkok Mojito, Chiang Mai, Lynchee Martini, Tom Yum Cocktail — as well as Khao San Beer on tap: Ginger Pale Ale (GPA) and Rice Lager. You can take it home in our growlers.

Come and sit in our custom Tuk Tuk (Thai Taxi) booth and experience what our restaurant has to offer.

History

Established in 2014.

We have the vision of this about 5 years ago. We sold 2 of our restaurants (Beaverton for 9yrs and Forest Grove 3 yrs) to make this vision come true. We sold both locations. We want to give PDX a piece of Bangkok’s Street Scene. We had Tuk Tuk table custom built in Bangkok. We have many dishes that are unique to us like Mu Ping (pork skewers) serve on custom made rack.

We travel to Thailand and Thai Town in Los Angeles on regular basis. Some dishes are from Nong’s (the boss) home town and some she learned from Street Cart owners in Bangkok. We will be adding late night (Hangover Bar) menu and weekend brunch/breakfast menu. Be on the look out for our Specials Menu.

Meet the Business Owner

Nong S.

Business Owner

Nong’s family own many well known Thai Restaurants around Portland area. She loves to cook and try new dishes. Many of her dishes she learn from her aunt in her small home town, Lad Yao, Nakhonsawan, Thailand. With one traffic light, but 3 — 711.

Bud (me) aka, quality control and the health inspector, that’s what they like to refer to me in the restaurant. Because i tasted all the food, before it get on the menu and make sure everything are clean and no food cross-contamination.

Kenny — Executive Chef and Co-Fouder. He brings many ideas to improved our vision. The combination of Nong and Kenny, Portland and I are very lucky.
