History

Established in 1983.

I started working for a sub-​contractor in the construction industry in 1977, building decks, framing new homes. In 1978 I started a partnership company of my own framing houses and building custom decks then in 1983 I started Steve Gibson Construction Co and expanded into remodeling and building custom homes.

Steve Gibson Construction Co has remodeled more than 300 homes from $ 8,000 to $ 400,000. These include bathrooms, large additions, to complete kitchens and built and sold over 30 custom homes from $ 150,000 to $ 1,500,000.

The goal of Steve Gibson Construction Co is customer satisfaction. 95% of our business has been through customer referrals. We take pride in our work and never had a law suit or filed an insurance claim over workmanship. Our reputation speaks for itself.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Born and raised in Portland Oregon. Family owned and operated construction company for over 30 years in the state of Oregon.

I started working in the construction industry in 1977 working weekends doing pickup work and building decks on new homes under construction.

In 1978 I quit my job as a machinist and formed a partnership company framing new homes and building custom decks.

In 1983 my partner decided to move on and I formed Steve Gibson Construction licensed general contractor. I began with framing and siding new homes and building custom decks. I then went into remodeling homes and since have remodeled over 300 homes in the Portland metro area .

I have since taken the 36 hour course and became a Certified Master Builder. I also hold a Certified Lead Based Paint Renovation Contractor license.

I have been married for over 37 years and have 2 great children, 1 son who also is part owner of Steve Gibson Construction and 1 daughter and 4 awesome grandchildren 3 girls and 1 boy.
