Update to prior review: After leaving the review the driver for the company followed up to offer some reconciliation for the trouble. I do believe that they will make an honest effort to meet customer needs in the future. I think that I had an unusual situation in that a trolley broke down. I would recommend, however, that if you’re taking the Christmas lights tour that you schedule during a weekend, as the weekday tours may be subject to cancellation due to lack of interest.

I finally heard back from both the owner, Shawn, and Glen today! All is well, and they were very apologetic about what happened. They currently have a broken down trolley and have had to delay the billing a little bit.
Now that we don’t have to worry about whether or not we are able to have a limo, We can’t wait to use them!

We used Twilite for a 13^th birthday party. Larry was amazing from beginning to end. He promptly answered all of my (many) questions via email, showed up on time, was helping and went above and beyond the whole time. He was great with our noisy and messy group of ten 13 year old boys, they all had a blast. I can’t say enough about our experience. We highly recommend them!

The service from Twilite is amazing! We use them for a wine tour birthday party. Unfortunately that big SUV limo that we were going to use broke down the night before so we were a little disappointed when we had to use a regular limo but Twilite was so awesome in making it up to us we didn’t even care by the end of it. Before we even took the tour we work with Larry about setting up the tour and he went out of his way to make sure we were happy with each winery that we were going to. The wine tour was great and the fact that they picked us up at our apartment was awesome. The limo driver Gary was wonderful and took a ton of pictures of us with our cameras. I highly recommend the service and I’m planning on using them again soon!

We did their Holiday Lights Tour on Refurbished Heated Trolley (offered by Portland Perks).
I would have been a little irritated that the trolley was late, but so was one of the people in our group — which meant him not missing the bus.
First, the driver takes you through downtown to see the Pioneer Courthouse Square tree, then by Directors park and onto I-​5 to get headed to the PIR.
Choosing the 6 pm trolley meant getting stuck in rush hour traffic. Luckily, we didn’t have to cross the bridge and made it in time at PIR to slowly take in all the lovely Christmas lights.
In the beginning, we couldn’t figure out some of the light structures, until a couple seated in front of us got it and started singing «The 12 days of Christmas». Then the a Partridge in a Pear Tree, Two Turtle Doves, Three French Hens, 4 Calling Birds, 5 Gold Rings, 6 Geese a-​Laying, 7 Swans a-​Swimming, 8 Maids a-​Milking, 9 Ladies Dancing, 10 Lords a-​Leaping, 11 Pipers Piping & 12 Drummers Drumming all made sense!
There was one odd part. It was the numerous palm trees at the beginning and dinosaurs at the end that didn’t feel very Christmasy. But — that has nothing to do with the Trolley company.
Our driver gave highlights, but the back of the trolley was noisy, so we couldn’t hear him very well. It was adorable when he gave one of the kids a bucket of candy canes to pass out to everyone.
The whole tour only lasted 90 minutes, so we were glad to have gotten a discounted ticket for $ 30.
The one thing we forgot to do was bring cash to tip our driver and we felt awful about it. He was nice and informative and deserving. We are a group of credit card people, always trying to earn air miles, but if we had the extra cash, we would have given it to him.
This was definitely something festive that I am really glad we did and glad my friends came along for the ride!

I would never use this limo service. Driver was hovering the entire trip, interjecting in our conversations, and making inappropriate comments. THEN they dinged us $ 100 for leaving the limo messy. We don’t even know what we left… They are unreasonable and unprofessional. Choose another company.

Wow. What a disappointment. I had purchased two Living Socials for the Holiday Light Tour and invited ten folks to join me.
I left a message for them to reserve our space over two weeks ago. Larry called me back a few days after and I explained that I wanted the Peacock Lane/​Downtown tour. According to the voucher, these trips start on the 17^th of the month.
I explained my plan and Larry said that he would check with someone else about starting another trolley and that he would call me back. No follow up from Larry so I called him today to find out what the plan was.
Well, Larry said they started another trolley but it was already FULL! I admit, I was not professional in expressing my dissatisfaction and the fact that I now had to tell ten other people that the plan was off.
Poor service, poor communication, poor organization.
Too bad… I’m sure it would have been fun. Argh.

I am sad that I have to write this review, as most likely Twilite would have received a much high star rating had their back end customer service been a bit more pulled together. I reserved multiple town car pick ups and drop offs for an event I was organizing on behalf of my client. Getting everything set up with them was pretty streamlined and from what my clients/​guests said the rides seemed fine.
On the phone, the owner quoted me $ 480 for rides which was great. I had to add a few rides right before the event and the owner said that should be fine and would let me know if there would be additional fees. He than charged my credit card (immediately) an additional $ 500. I was fine with the additional charges, but the owner never really confirmed that cost with me. After the event, I requested either an invoice or receipt for my purchases so I could not only expense them back to my company, but also make sure the additional $ 500 was verified and not just a faulty, additional charge.
Nothing. Radio silence. I’ve emailed and called the owner as of now going on a dozen times. I am so disappointed in this type of customer service. So happy to take my money (as fast as possible), but wouldn’t even do the courtesy of providing me proof of purchase and providing FULL customer service — until the very end of the relationship.
I can’t say I’ll ever use this vendor again or recommend their services unless someone would fix this situation immediately — as I still haven’t received anything.

A great company! Not only was the communication amazing but the limousine was beautiful and even more extravagant than we expected. Bachelor party could not have been better and the service was impeccable. I highly recommend using this company. I will be a repeat costumer most defiantly! If you are questioning what company to go with do yourself a favor and go with this one, you will not regret it. Thanks Shawn for the wonderful time.

This is the second time I’ve used their service and I cannot express how easy they are to work with and what an incredible service and value they are.
I was in town on personal travel and wanted to have a night out in downtown with family and not have to worry about anyone getting home unsafe. I called Shawn and told him what I was looking for. He had to work some schedules but was able to get me the driver I requested, Larry, and a fabulous Escalade SUV for the people in our party, all for a more reasonable price than you would think. Taxi service to take us everywhere we wanted to go would have been just about as much, with far less comfort and personal attention.
Case in point: when we needed something in between places, Larry took care of it while we were inside enjoying ourselves. When we came back out to the car, we had what we wanted, cups, water, and gum.
When we were ready to go, one call, and within minutes, Larry was right out front ready to whisk us off to the next location.
Whatever the reason, if you want that rockstar feeling at a near taxi cab price, you must certainly call Twilite first.

Just did a wine tour package for a bachelorette party. Called to book with Shawn, and he is a riot! Such a nice man and great to work with. Our driver, Lori, called ahead to give me her number and to let us know she was on her way. She arrived promptly and loaded our snacks, etc. into the trunk. She was great about keeping us on schedule and loading all our purchases, she even set up some tables at one of the wineries for us to have a little lunch outside. It was a lovely day and everything was seamless and perfect. Lori was a delight and we would not hesitate to book a limo tour with Twilite in the future.

As a former radio personality in San Diego and a professional musician with several household name bands, I am no stranger to limousine services and the accommodations that go along with them; my experience has run the gamut from stellar to.. . well, let’s just say far less-​than-​stellar and leave it at that.
The service and detail that my party and I received from Twilite Limousine & Tour Company was at the top of a very short list of stellar experiences. The limo itself was clean, well-​appointed with conveniences and comfort, the ride was like a jet without turbulence, and our driver Carlos was on top of our every requirement (as well as just being a great guy!).
In short, nothing was lacking in any aspect of the entire limo experience. The customer service ethic was evident in every aspect of Twilite’s service, and I give them my highest recommendation. If you want a star’s ride and service, Twilite Limousine & Tour Company is your best choice.

As a response to the company: our phone number was left on BOTH messages. And your company has STILL NOT CALLED BACK! (Almost a week later!) Seriously, this company is totally mismanaged and if you want a reliable company go somewhere else. Don’t waste your time with this company.

We were in Portland for a girls weekend last month and wanted to go wine tasting. We found Twilite Limo Online. We were flying out that afternoon so we wanted to be picked up from the hotel and dropped us off at the airport at the end.
We were going to go wine tasting, but had heard great things about the Columbia Gorge. So, Gary took around the east side of town and then to his favorite bakery, once we were loaded up on food and drink we headed out to see the Colombia Gorge and some waterfalls.
He was so helpful and friendly. We asked him where he’d take friends and family that we’re visiting and then went to those places.
He took us to the Vista House to see the gorge from high up. It was amazing and crazy windy! We laughed so hard and thank Gary for saving our Nana– she almost blew away!
It was definitely a highlight of the trip! I absolutely recommend Twilite Limo and Gary!

I have used Twilite limo tour company 3 times now for wine tours. Best wine tours I have been on in the area. They offer private pickup & take you to wineries in that area… a great bonus! Shawn one of the owners is great, soeasy to work with!
Most companies charge so much to wine tour, Twilite is affordable, accommodating & the winery options are great!
Also, the drivers make your tour fun & enjoyable. All very knowledgeable about wine.
I can’t wait to go on my next tour with Twilite!

Regrettably, cannot recommend this company. We paid a lot of money to have them shuttle guests at our wedding, which we deeply regretted later on. Day of, the driver arrived seeming confused despite our clear instructions and confirmations the day before. His only job was to take guests from the World Forestry Center to the visitor’s center of the Arboretum. Easy right? It’s about ¼ mile with ONE turn. Still he managed to be confused and lost, by all accounts, asking out of town guests what he was supposed to do, asking for help and directions, and generally being an embarrassment. Despite making a few trips with guests, he seemed lost on each round (???) and even was pulling over to ask joggers and random Arboretum visitors if they were wedding guests and needed a ride. What’s worse, he decided to take it upon himself to open the CLOSED private gate down to where our ceremony was to drop guests off, despite never being told to do so. This sent up showers of dust all over the ceremony setup, created a ton of noise in our peaceful «woodland» wedding area. Then I had to watch him haplessly back up and down the road trying to escape, with his backup alarms on full volume, as I waited to walk down the aisle. Finally he left and I asked someone to go make sure he did NOT come back.
BUT HE DID. Not only did he roll back down the road like a moron; he almost did so right through the middle of my wedding ceremony. This crazy person bypassed a staffer, forced the gate open, and trundled down the road at the exact second our ceremony had ended; 30 seconds earlier and it would have spoiled the whole thing. It was after THIS trip down the road he decided it was too hard to take the access road (that he was never supposed to take) and insisted myself and the wedding party hike out to meet him on the road.
Honestly I’m not sure what else this driver could have done wrong, other than drive off the road (which, I’m told, he almost did). The guests couldn’t stop talking about the wacky, disoriented driver and it became a big joke that people loved telling me about long after the wedding. SO embarrassing, frustrating, and a complete waste of money.
After confronting the company and demanding an explanation and refund, they told me they «fired» the driver and would only consider refunding half the cost. I was glad to get that money back, but pissed that another $ 250 (and sadly a $ 100 TIP!!! given to the driver by a groomsman) couldn’t be refunded.
Overall a creepy, unprofessional, and above all unreliable company. I would NOT recommend hiring them for an important event.

My first trolley ride since San Francisco only the Portland Trolley with Twilite Limousine & Tour Company’s destination was for fun not a dreaded commute into congestion. The Trolley Tour was the best way to get a group of people from the Wine Valet into the City unencumbered, dreading traffic or having to be concerned with parking. Our driver and Host Braiden was impressive as he skillfully and safely maneuvered through traffic to get us safely to our destination.
A memorable ride and time indeed! Thanks Braiden for a great time!

I can’t speak highly enough about my experience with Twilite Limo! Bryan offered great customer service, quick responses via phone and email, and an unbeatable price for an all day bachelorette party adventure in the party bus, complete with Carmen Electra «safety pole.» Our driver Bryce was everything we could hope for. He was fun, friendly, and professional. I wish I had an excuse to have Bryce drive me around in the party bus all the time!
Biggest perks — great customer service from the office and driver, cooler stocked with ice water, best prices in town, stripper pole, and gas/​mileage included in the hourly rate (major bonus since we traveled from Portland to Salem and back).

Excellent service! The folks at Twilite Limousine provided impeccable service for our family’s first limo experience. My father’s 80^th birthday dinner was an event we will never forget and Twilite was a big part of that. Dave, our driver, was friendly, prompt, and got us to dinner in Dundee safely and on time.
My communication with Shawn over the course of planning was great, too. He always responded within a few hours and worked with me to set up just what we needed.

Twilite Limo will be my go to taxi service anytime I’m in Portland. I’ve gotten to know Shawn the owner of the company fairly well in the few months that we’ve been corresponding back and forth while planning my vacations. There were a few times that he didn’t respond to my emails right away, but there was always a good reason as to why not.
While in Portland, Shawn surprised us by upgrading our vehicles from an SUV to a Limo (for airport pickup/​drop off) and a mini bus for the ½ day and full day tours. He sent us text messages welcoming us to Portland, and then 15 minutes prior to pick up time, he called us to say that the driver was on his way. At the pick up time, the driver called to say they were downstairs and waited patiently for our group to arrive.
One of the drivers, Doug, made our group feel at home and had quite the sense of humor. He allowed the family to play their music loudly even though it may not have been his first choice in music. Doug even went out of his way to find out where this one museum was, even if it wasn’t on the GPS, cause he knew how much it would make my in-​laws happy. He made our comfort his top priority, and you couldn’t have asked for a better driver.
