History
Established in 2014.
After graduating from Washington College in Chestertown MD with degrees in Latin American Studies & Spanish, chef Johnny Nunn learned the craft of cooking in San Francisco (Farallon, Town Hall), New York City (Eleven Madison Park), Washington D.C. (Café Atlantico) and Madrid, Spain (Memento). He moved to the Portland area in 2007 and opened restaurant five-0-three in West Linn. Johnny then made significant contributions as executive chef to Portland restaurant institutions the RingSide and Brasserie Montmartre. Verdigris is the expression of his ideas about food and dining developed over the course of his career.
