Pre-cooked food sits out all afternoon and it’s pretty gross. I thought this place was supposed to be the epitome of fresh?! Salsa is watery, and my wife’s burrito bowl literally had to be drained before she hesitantly picked through the wilted lettuce and ¼ oz of dried chicken. At first, I was sad that my burrito only had the same ¼ oz of meat that my wife received, but I later figured out that they are apparently going for steak jerky(Nailed it!) and it would be far too dry if they didn’t cover up the terrible taste with bland beans and rice. Maybe I’m just spoiled from going to Qdoba so often, so I expected some fresh food. And then — NOQUESO!!! Well crap, we literally tossed two entire meals. They were inedible. Apparently Chipotle has a much different definition of «fresh» than I do.

This is hands down my favorite Chipotle, the staff is so inviting and amazing! I’ve never met such a dynamic staff, I get the sense this chipotle knows the value of teamwork. Thanks Sharniece(I’m sorry if I spelled that wrong) you were helpful and knowledgeable about all the food you’re providing. Thanks!

Stopped in for a snack with my Mom and when we went to pay, the guys behind the counter said, «no charge»…when I protested, they said, «too late, it’s already done»…how sweet is that!!! Don’t know if that’s an individual«pay it forward» deal or a business practice, but, it made our day! Love this place anyway, but, love it now a little bit more!

First of all, I love Chipotle. Asa vegan it’s heaven for me. Really appreciate the sofritas. Really though I’m leaving this review because I recently went, ordered my food, and when I went to pay I realized I left my debit card in my jacket, at home. The girls comped my meal, even after offering to go get cash. It was so nice. I really appreciated it. So, I’ll absolutely for sure be back to support this location. Thanks again ladies!

My boyfriend and I are chipotle addicts and come to this location at least twice a week. The employees are always SO incredibly friendly, especially Lexi and Josie. Today, we stopped in for dinner and my boyfriend ordered a chicken burrito, they comped our whole meal because there was a short wait for the chicken to finish cooking. It was SO nice of them and not even necessary because it was a busy night for them and we understood. We will continue being regulars at this location.

Beyond amazed by the staff here! I came in for my first time at chipotle and was treated so well! The staff directed me to the start of the line, and thoroughly explained the process. The interaction i had with the staff member making my burrito was informative, helpful, and she gave her knowledgeable opinion of flavors and the amount of spice in each ingredient. They were all so kind and at the end of the line I was told my burrito was on the house because they wanted me to just enjoy it this time because it was my first time. I will be back. For sure!!!

The took an easy recipe for success and screwed it up. I’ve know dozens of places that make this sort of food that we all love so well. Doing it right means cooking it up fresh and that takes more time. Instead chipotle take tasty food. Cook it ahead of time, makes for dried out stale tasting food, and hope to cover that up with rice and beans and other strong flavors a while the core food– the meat is over cooked and dried out and tough to chew. A quick test is would your dog eat the meat portions. I ordered two extra portions of chicken for my two dogs. My dogs are it but did not scoff it up. Service was OK. I give this place one star but it could jump up to five stars if the stopped the mass production and cooked things up fresh without overcooking.

Love that I can get a healthy fast meal without sugar in the seasoning. Friendly and affordable.

This chipotle is hit or miss. For the most part the staff is friendly, the food is good and the portions are big. However, there have been a few times, including today, where the girl making our food seems annoyed that she has to take our order… Isn’t that your job? Our burritos were so small and the chicken was really chewy. Our chips were soggy on the bottom too. I seriously love chipotle but I just wish they were more consistent and had nicer employees.

I’ve always loved chipotle and I always believe in good customer service but today during rush hour traffic and getting lunch for me and my manager when I walked in with a smile on my face I got a little irritated because while ordering two to go bowls I had two different people going at me at once. I’m only one person. All in all I still left happy. They just need to slow down

8÷23÷15 My order if 6 items was a mess. This is the 4th time this PUYALLUP Chipotle has either undercooked, over cooked, added the wrong items, forgot something etc. today we ordered 6 entrees totaling over $ 45.00. I called back and asked the manager for a refund and they said they they would remake the order. If I order online, I don’t have time to go back and get another order. then she offered to remake it another day. I travel a lot for work and visit Chipotle all around the U.S. Unfortunately, the one closest to my house is the worst one I have ever been to. Their portions are much smaller than other locations and undercooked or overlooked chicken seems to be a huge problem. It is not just me, many of my Puyallup friends expressed the same issues.

Not sure what all the negativity is about! I have been to this location a handful of times, the first time they did forget my chips and salsa, but I should have checked the bag before leaving the restaurant, so I’ll take the fall for that. The food is just as consistent as the other Chipotles I have been to. The service is friendly and quick. I’m not sure what else you can ask for! I have never had an issue with under or over cooked meat. This is a convenient location right of meridian, they have plenty of seating and parking. I will continue to come back. I think they are doing great!

Don’t know about those reviews talking about dirty conditions – haven’t ever seen that except perhaps for a spot where someone had just got up after finishing their meal if one was immediately demanding their spot – how could someone get there to wipe it down in those conditions? The food’s always been very good, although the temperature can vary a bit. There’s always been a full selection, regardless of the time of day I’ve visited. Lines move fast, but then again, it’s near-fast food. I support their politics and their accordingly consistent food selection policies. All my friends know that when I’m going to eat Mexican food, I want Chipotle!

I feel like since this store is new they are still working out the kinks. Service was not as quick as others I have gone to and while the food was delicious — like all the others, the portions were smaller and not proportioned the same. I get the same thing every time and there was less meat, rice, toppings, etc. I don’t known of the franchise is cutting down overall, but the spoonfuls were not heaping as I’ve received from other locations. Will go again. Happy to have one so close, but hope they continue working out the kinks.

I would like to say that we got enormous portions and were served by charming staff members. I read some reviews before I went and I thought I should mention that those problems that people were having seem to have been corrected, at least in our experience. Delicious food, great service.

I love chipotle, but this one the service was awful. I ordered chicken soft tacos and the girl put like three pieces of tiny chicken on them, so I had to ask her to put more on there. Then I had to do the same thing with the cheese. The girl sprinkled like 3 little tiny pieces of cheese then when I asked for more she rolled her eyes at me! I’m sorry I forgot I’m not paying for my meal and wouldn’t prefer to actually be full when I’m done eating it. I will never go to this chipotle again. Totally unacceptable.

This Chipotle, having had its grand opening merely 15 days ago, is certainly a work in progress. My tacos were fine. The chicken may have been a little dry if I’m being picky. My friend had a burrito and instead of the contents being distributed evenly, he would get one big bite of sour cream, then one big bite of guacamole, one big bite of chicken, etc. The staff was nice. They informed me that aside from the managers, every employee in the store is brand new(not from other Chipotle locations). If your experience left you feeling dissatisfied, I say give them one more try in a few weeks.

I love chipotle! We were so excited when one opened up down the street from us. We waited a 2 week after opening to come in and was surprised the lines had died down so quickly. We came at the peak of a lunch rush. We were so dissappointed… the food didn’t taste the same. My chicken just tasted like burnt chicken and my husband’s steak was so tough. My chicken quesadia hardly had and meat and cheese. I mostly ate plain tortilla. Also I’m used to having warm chips. What we got was cold stale chips. Can’t say it was random. We ordered 3 bags. Not what I expect from chipotle. Was so excited for nothing. Maybe we’ll try it again in a month when everyone gets the hang of the chipotle quality. Hmmm… maybe that’s why there wasn’t a line… I still love chipotle but not this one…

I was SO sad when the Herfy’s closed down here — It wasn’t rated very highly but we enjoyed it and they had fries and shakes like a place back at home so it had some happy memories for me. Then when I heard a Chipotle was going in, I got over it REALLY quick — I LOVE Chipotle. Don’t get me wrong, I have enjoyed Qdoba lately since there hasn’t been a Chipotle super close. Qdoba has queso and is generally pretty good but I have always enjoyed Chipotle more — The ingredients tend to be fresher, it just tends to be a better meal. The boyfriend and went here on 02⁄15 — I believe it was the day or day after they had their grand opening — And I NEVER thought I’d say this, but I wish we had gone to Qdoba. We each got a burrito — Jeff with steak and all the fixings, me with the bowl with the burrito on the side with just rice, chicken, sour cream, and cheese. We got chips to share. So…Let’s start with the wrap. The burrito wrap itself — POOR quality. It hardens as soon as they take it off their steamer/griller, but not harden like a grilled tortilla hardens. It hardened like it was once a good quality wrap and then sat out for a couple of days and hardened. It just wasn’t very good. Onto the meat… I know that Chipotle seasons their meats differently — Qdoba seasons theirs all the same so I can get steak without burning my mouth(I’m sensitive to heat). I sadly forgot about this though so was disappointed when I had to go with chicken because steak is the spiciest(though I glad the girl waiting on me reminded me). To be fair, I was already not really happy about needing to get chicken, but the chicken was overcooked and dry. I knew it was the«second to least» spicy, but it wasn’t even seasoned. Jeff’s steak was overcooked, under-seasoned, and even I had a bite of it and it wasn’t spicy… ATALL. We also noticed that the portion sizes were significantly smaller than Qdoba. The chips were okay — I like the lime and salt combo that they have on them — But about ever fifth chip was stale. And I don’t mean just a little stale — It was chewy stale. It would have been fine if there had been something to dip them in like queso from Qdoba, but I don’t care for guacamole with my chips and don’t like salsa. Really the only thing that we could agree was better than Qdoba was the guacamole, but we didn’t think it was«worth» the extra $ 2.00 charge that they slap on it. I’m REALLY hoping that some of these issues are because they just opened and we will gladly give them another chance in a couple of months, but for now I think I’m going to stick with Qdoba… It’s better quality, they have queso, and the one in Puyallup has a Menchie’s two doors down. :)
