Amazing!!! After reading some reviews that were rather negative mainly about the service, we decided to give this place a try. I have been looking for the original Arroz con Pollo for a couple of years now, as other places have started adding green peppers and a sweet tomato sauce to it and it’s gross! Not here!!?, they have the BEST Arroz con Pollo I have had in so long it was delicious! As far as the service? I don’t know what people are talking about! Pancho, our waiter was super! Yulissa was great too! We started noticing the service as a whole when other servers came by and asked how we were doing. Everyone was working together as a team! I was completely in awe of this. I actually asked to speak to the manager to give positive feedback because of the reviews I had read about service here. This place, for sure, is our go to Mexican food restaurant! I’m sure if you give it a try you will be just as happy as we are!!!

What a fun meal, good food, nice drinks and an enjoyable time with family very friendly service. Un tiempo bueno por todos.

I’ve been here before and it was great, but tonight I walked in with 3 adults, 2 middle school kids and an infant. They walked us to a booth, I asked for a table, they obliged. That’s where our service ended. We sat there with no water, silverware, chips, not ONE person came up to the table. I couldn’t tell whose section we were in because we saw multiple waiters and waitresses helping other tables. They were not packed, so we waited sitting there for more than enough time. I had to go ask for a menu because we didn’t have enough. We even made bathroom trips to wash hands and still no one. I locked eyes with a few people thinking they were coming to our table but they all turned to the kitchen. I don’t know what the issue was but their loss was El Toro’s gain. Very disappointed in how we were ignored.

These reviews stun me. The food is very good. The service is attentive. Would I watch the game in the bar. Maybe not, they play the game bit play music over it. BUT the food very nice and the prices very fair.

I had a coupon from one of those entertainment books, so a friend and I came here after our search for ugly xmas sweaters.
We sat in the bar as it was happy hour. As soon as I sat down I showed the waitress my coupon and she says she can honor the coupon unless her manager is there and she thinks he will be in around 4pm it was about 3:15 so I was hopefull. I don’t know if that girl was working the bar herself but the service was terrible. Ordering our drinks took forever, getting our drinks took forever, getting to order took forever. Her attention was not on us as we ordered as my friend and I both got the wrong order. No time to complain we had to get to work so just ate food and let it go. When the check came the waitress told us that her manager was not there yet and that he is the one who can accept the coupons. I guess my friend and I will just have to call to see when he is working next time. The food was ok probably would have been better if it was brought out sooner. I could tell it sat for a little while. So bummed by the experience, my friend spoke highly of this place. Maybe I’ll try another location

I would give it a 0 if I could. Food is crap and not worth the money. Very disappointing they take advantage of people in the northwest who don’t know real or good Mexican food! It’s irritating and insulting to Mexican food as a whole.

This is the best Mexican restaurant I’ve ever eaten at. All of the staff are amazing and the food is always exceptional.

I’ve been coming here for years off and on but took a break after a few disappointing meals. It must have been longer than I thought, new staff, new paint, new menu…
Our server was wonderful, very friendly. There was just a good vibe all around. Our food was delivered very quickly. We had Mexican pizza and it was delicious. The owner even walked around and greeted the customers. Chips n salsa is good. I prefer my chips crispier and my salsa chunky. I had a cheese enchilada and the authentic chile relleno. Big portions for a reasonable price. Will definitely come back again.

Our waiter, Francisco, was very friendly. He interacted with my kids, as well. He was very informative and knowledgable about menu.
The food was delicious. My Mango Margarita was tasty. The cheese was stringy.

I typically really like this place, however, when management tries to be deceptive to their customers my opinion changes quickly.
My partner and I came in this evening and looked at the Special. It was as Chicken Mole and priced at $ 15.29. My partner gets this meal every time, so we were excited to see there being a deal for it. When we looked at the menu it was the same price so we asked the waiter what’s the point of making it «a special». He replied, «Sometimes they discount a price or there is more of it.» When we got the food it was the exact same as every time she ordered it. When we received the bill I asked, «The amount was the same, and you have the same price on my bill. I don’t understand.» His response…“I asked and sometimes they discount or make more or they make more of it that day and do something special with it or it is more fresh”…
Umm… Yeah. I am not okay with food not being fresh and I am definitely not okay with dishonesty in business practices.

The worst experience ever!!! The food was terrible and the service was also terrible. That is all

The salsa was disappointing, it was so watery. Chips were good though. Service was slow and the food was bland.

This used to be a great place to go but today was off. It took a while for someone to come take our drinks and our order. The chips were a mixed of stale ones. I ordered the two burritos. One Colorado and one verde which is usually my favorite. Today the sauces were mixed up. The verde inside had Colorado on top and the Colorado inside had verde on top. The other plate ordered was bland. We never put salt on our food but today this plate we needed to do we can at least eat it. In the past I would give this place a 4 – 5 star but today is just 3.

WARNING!!! The food here is super greasy!!! Yuck. Never coming back ever. I’ll stick to eating at moctezumas.

This Mazatlan Restaurant is the best!

Went here for the Sunday Brunch, was ok, but was hoping for something better so will continue looking for the best Sunday Brunch in the South Sound.
The service here I thought was real good, food ok,

3 dollars for guacamole…
What.
I got a burritp that was just beans and rice and guacamole. No cheese… nothing else.
And it cost 15 dollars.
Like noooo thats not okay. Either improve your flavors and sizes or lower your prices.
Only awesome part was the chips/​salsa
My advise, skip this place and drive to orting’s los pinos. The best mexican food

Ew, ew, ew. This Mazatlan is so disgusting. The restaurant itself is dirty (don’t even get me started on the bathrooms) and the food isn’t good either. One time I ordered a chicken enchilada and there was a pretty big chicken bone still inside it. I asked the waitress about it and she just kind of shrugged and looked at me. She didn’t offer to take it back and have it remade or just comp my meal. I haven’t been back since that incident and I I wouldn’t go even if you paid me.

This place is at the end of our street. We have been saying we need to try it. Well, we tried it and won’t be going back.
The food was so bland. Even the salsa needs help. Chips were very good though.
The best part was the service. Wish we could get the servers to make the food, then it would be good food.
