These guys were great from start to finish. They were patient during our time now making a buying decision. They were informative, insightful and helpful with all our questions. Most importantly the furnace we bought is GREAT. It isn’t even the top of the line they offer and it’s still significantly better than the one we had BEFORE it started to go out and the representative who sold it to us told us that would be the case. Pick these guys!!!

I had a new heat pump installed by Taylor Heating about 6 years ago. Our 20 something year old one had simply decided to go to Heat Pump Heaven. So I drew up a bid sheet and sent it out to about a dozen places or more and because I had seen something about them on-​line I included Taylor Heating even though they weren’t from Olympia.
They sent me a detailed proposal with several options and when I called they took the time to answer all my questions and they had the best price for a name brand heat pump that was super efficient.
They installed the whole thing in one day and they did not pressure me to replace our air-​handler and furnace because they were working fine (and still are). What blew me away is that a couple of months later, the furnace was having some kind of issues and I thought it was the heat pump. Bob Taylor came to our house ON CHRISTMAS DAY and spent time fixing it and even though it was the furnace (the part he did NOT replace) he did not charge us.
That brings us to today. I noticed a couple of weeks ago that the factory installed fan on the heat pump had fallen off the motor shaft. This is not supposed to happen and because it did the motor simply ran and ran until the motor burned out. Not Taylor Heatings fault, it is the manufacturer’s fault (and very rare I understand, nobody has seen this before) but of course there is no way at this point to charge them. Normally companies pass on costs not covered by warranty to their customers, that is just they way it is. But TAYLOR HEATING sent a guy out two different times, all the way to Olympia to fix our defective fan and motor that was no fault of theirs. And they took the hit.
Now I am not saying they will do this for you or even do it for me again but this company is run like companies used to be run. «Let’s take care of the customer.»
I am sorry that F.A. did not experience the Taylor difference. There is a difference between a mistake and a lie, I don’t know if it was a mistake but I know they don’t lie.
I am comfortable knowing that TAYLOR HEATING would never lie to me and I recommend them to you just as I recommend them to my friends and relatives. They have stood by me on Christmas Day and stood by me when they could have put a fat bill in my hand and for that — TAYLOR HEATING — I give you 5 STARS!

This is a response to Mr. Taylor’s comment: Mr. Taylor cannot change the facts, no matter how much he would like to. It’s December 15^th, and the heat pump is working fine with just the change of fuse that saved us the price of the new heat pump he wanted to install. And, the fuse hasn’t blown again, so it cannot be drawing too much current.

Really liked Taylor Heating & Air Conditioning. Fortunately when our furnace went out the weather wasn’t too bad so we had time to research and get multiple bids. Taylor Heating came the next day and gave us a bid for both furnace and air conditioning. Friendly and patient estimator. When we finally made the decision to go with them, they came two days later and got everything done within about 5 hours. Great pricing for good quality Rheem furnace — It’s a high efficiency furnace eligible for $ 250 rebate from Puget Sound Energy. Yay.

I had a new furnace installed due to a failed blower motor so I could run my AC. Richard was up front and recommended that I replace the unit as opposed to just the blower motor since the system was 20 years old. Pricing was good and installation by two techs a day later was quick and professional. I would recommend Taylor Heating & AC.

I just had a new A/​C unit installed. I was given bids for Trane, Rheem and Lenox all of the prices quoted were lower then 2 others I had received. The installation team was top notch and I am very pleased with their service. I will continue to use them for preventive maintance

We were really surprised at how much better our rate was with Taylor heating & Air. On top of that, they went over and above to make sure that everything worked properly and efficiently. They were super respectful of our time & our home. I am also in real estate and have already referred many clients to them, without any hesitancy. It’s always hard to find people you know will do a great job 100% of the time, but this is one of those companies.

I was more than impressed with the customer service I received on all levels, from my initial call to schedule an appointment, to the technician that came out to troubleshoot my AC unit to the guys that did a great job installing my new unit and also my new furnace that I chose to upgrade at the same time. They did all this in one day and they did an absolute excellent job! Excellent Customer Service and Reasonable pricing!!! I highly recommend Taylor Heating I am very pleased!

Just had a great experience with this company. My furnace stopped working and it was cold outside. I called a couple companies and they wanted outrageous charges just to come out and look at it,. I called Taylor and they were extremely friendly over the phone, had someone come out right away and charged a really reasonable fee. Their tech was extremely friendly and knowledgeable, I will use them again.

As a Real Estate agent in Puyallup I am always in need of certain vendors to refer clients to. From simple service calls to technical diagnosis and new systems I have always been very pleased with the service my clients and I receive from Taylor Heating. I have been working with them since 2005 and will continue to do so. They always return calls promptly, show up promptly, are very easy to talk to and always thoroughly explain what is going on and what the options might be for repair.

It’s very rare to find customer service like this anymore. Not only were they more then competitive in the original install pricing, they have really set themselves apart with the way they have treated me after. Allot of places would have installed the equipment gotten the check and walked away. Any issues after would be resolved with more $. Not this company Joe and his employees have taken time out of very busy days to come by and fix anything that has come up. All the issues have been operator error on my part (not setting things right) that they have quickly resolved while taking the time to show me the correct way. When most places would tell me «look in your manual» or «we found the problem, it’s you» then give you a bill they have smiled and never even been a little rude about it. Nice to know company’s like this are still out there.

We had a furnace fire and the temperature is 27 degrees. This company came out the sane day and scheduled new furnace install for the next day. In less then 24 hours we have heat. Awesome company highly recommend. I will refer to friends. I am so happy!

Needed an AC repair last week, called Taylor Heating and air. Mistake # 1 said they would be out between 5 – 6 and then called at 3 to say they couldn’t make it and would be out at 11 on Thursday at 11:30 I called to see if they were coming and the girl said I wasn’t on the schedule. She said she would check and call me back, 15 minuets she called back and said the guy would be here in 10 minuets. They showed up and started checking the unit. I was quoted a price of $ 49.00 plus parts. The guy checked the u it and said it was a little low on charge. He then put gas (a charge in it) and said it should be ok that the Gage was reading correct. No parts were needed just a charge. The bill was $ 290.00 what the F– — -. Saturday it was 92 degrees and guess what, the unit broke down and iced up and had to be shut off at 8:00 am. I called the office and got a voice mail, I left a message and waited. I call 3 more times with no luck. My wife looked the company up on the web and found out they opened at 10:00 am on Saturday. Okay cool I waited until 10:30 for a call back but never herd back form anyone. So I called again and again and again but never reached a voice. Saturday at 5:30 Pm I called another company and they came right out (Saturday night overtime) they found the unit low on charge and the fan speed set incorrect (to low). He was here for to hours and still was $ 70.00 cheaper. Now it’s Monday night at 9:00 pm and you guessed it, it’s working great and I never received a call from Taylor heating and air even after calling and leaving 3 messages and waiting two days for that return call. All I can say is they SUCK the customer service sucks and the office sucks. Oh did I say that after watching Taylor heating and air repair man charging the unit I had walked up into the garage and after a minuet or so I heard a loud noise it was the guy letting out freon into the air. To bad I didn’t have my camera or phone, could have made $ 25.000.00 dollars with that photo. I should say I did not see him do it that but I am a contractor and have been a home inspector for 17 years so I am pretty sure on what I heard. Sucks for them, in my book customer service and word of mouth is the best number 1 advertisement.

We called Taylor heating due to the fact that we had a home inspection done because we were moving, and come to find out after Taylor heating did our inspection, they found a crack in one of the parts which causes carbon monoxide to possibly seep into the home. I can’t remember the name of the part but they put a camera in the furnace and showed me exactly how bad and exactly where the damage was. We ended up purchasing a new furnace as to not cause any harm to the up and coming owners. And when we bought our new home we then had Taylor heating come out and put in a brand-​new air conditioning unit which was the best purchase we have ever made! We had great experiences with both transactions and would definatly recommend to others. They were on time and their communication with me was superb!

Saved me a ton of $$$ on a new heater a/​c unit for My shop! I had been ripped off twice before and was looking at about $ 10,000.00 for another unit. Joey suggested a ductless system saved me $ 6,000. These guys are EXCELLENT!

I have used Taylor Heating and Air Conditioning many times both on my primary home and my rentals. I would never use anyone else. They are very honest and are willing to go the extra mile to make sure I am completely satisfied. They do all the regular maintenance and I have never had an issue with them. I would highly recommend them to anyone that is looking for heating or air conditioning.

Can’t say enough good about Taylor Heating and A/​C. My wife and I just purchased a new home and wanted to upgrade to a heat pump with A/​C. We contacted a few companies and they gave us bids that were all over the map. Same products, same labor but bids ranged up to $ 4k difference. It was like pulling teeth to get a bid itemized. Joe from Taylor Heating came over and broke it down as how and where all the costs were. When it was time for installation, these guys are fast, thorough and clean. They took their shoes off in the house even. I was not home when they finished but they did a complete walk through with my wife, then came back 3 days later when I was home and did a walk through with me. In closing, Taylor Heating and A/​C are true professionals in their field and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Just for clarity, I haven’t had the opportunity to use this company for service as I just became matter of my own domain, so to speak. However, I have known Joe Taylor for years and have always found him to be a man of kindness and integrity. He is generous and this business has been around in our area fit years and I have never heard anything negative from friends or fellow townspeople. I will definitely be calling them in future if we need any help on our system. I also find it truly admirable that this is a family company and that Joe has worked on his trade since he was a teenager. I believe he is a truly dedicated professional.

So I first heard about these guys on the news when I saw what they did for a family in need. I thought that was so awesome what they did and I told myself that I would use them if I ever needed that kind of work done. I didn’t have a reason to use them until two weeks ago when my furnace went out and I sure am happy that I remembered them. I got a great deal and was happy to use a company that helped out those in need like they did. What a great group of people.

Our furnace stopped working, they came out and checked a couple things and came in to inform me that it was a gas valve and the circuit board, the cost was 1000.00 dollars, but they could sell me a new furnace for 1900.00 with a warranty. We believed them and said well ok .They were to install it next day, but failed to show up (Thank god) we called Jakes furnace in puyallup, he came in took apart the burners cleaned them put it back together and it works like it was brand new.
Thats a far cry from needing 1000.00 in parts… total time it took 8 minutes total cost 98.00. Id not recommend this business, we are fair people only wanting a fair deal not taken to the cleaners…
update I receieved a call from John stating that the person who made the miss diagnose will no longer be with them, that he was sorry for what happened and I feel that this was a good gesture on their part.
Im glad he called and maybe it was just the single individual and not the company as a whole. Im still not sure if Id call again I might, I believe in second chances.
