These guys are solid ! I have known Bob along time and he is as good as it gets in the boat business. Fair pricing, excellent repairs and a great staff. Pulling up to see the boat finished and ready for a quick hook up was awesome. How many times do you arrive for pickup of something and it looks like they were not expecting you… not here. Boat up front, cover on and old parts to show work done. Nice guys and a great experience.

My wife and I were searching to buy a boat and went here to check out what they had to offer. While there Josh was our sales guy/​teacher. He educated us about differences between boats, and asked us what we were looking for in our new boat. I never felt forced or pressured to buy. The whole process of shopping, offering, and buying was seamless and much easier than I would have expected and I will totally recommend them to all my friends and family looking to buy or service a boat!

What an awesome group of people! Ann and I are seasoned water sports people and boat owners, but hadn’t owned a boat for 13 years. We went down to Superior to check out the latest Nautique models and ended up with a beautiful new 230! Josh was extremely low-​pressure & knowledgable, and owners Bob & Kathy were both warm, personable, and wonderful to work with. I would HIGHLY recommend these people for all of your boating needs!

These guys are top notch local boat dealers, You can find the owner from time to time sweeping the front of the pace keeping things looking good. Upon entering your greeted by a prof staff, they keep their interior professional and warm.
The owner has years and years of boating and hes there with a hands on approach most days,
Ive been in and out of the local dealers and can tell you if im getting work done id trust these guys with my families recreational needs.
Great job, well kept store, you can tell the owner and staff care, When you go to Mercedes or Lexus you expect to walk in to some luxury, the other dealers along this side of Highway 50 fall short

We’re the Murray’s from Auburn, CA. Regular family with a love for the water. We actually bought a loaded Regal 2300 without ever test driving or seeing it live. I know, this is crazy, but we knew what we liked and the Regal brand is absolutely solid.
The team at SBR&S were an absolute jewel to work with. Bob and his wife are the real deal and don’t skimp on the customer experience. Matt the sales guy is the most customer focused guy I ever met and the support team like James and the Mechanic (I think his name is Dave) are just top notch people that understand this business.
Did we know anyone there before buying? NOPE
Did we ever buy a new boat before? NOPE
Do we dislike cheesy, pushy and creepy sales people? YES

A friend. All the employees we dealt with were professional. They kept updating us when parts and service time lines changed! Superior Boats is a full service shop, we would recommend.

Great service while we were looking for a used boat. While they didn’t have the exact boat we were looking for, they did keep us informed of any boats that came in that met our criteria. While we didn’t buy a boat from them, it was one of the few dealers we felt comfortable enough to buy a boat from.

prompt service greatly helped me as i prepared to move the boat out of state. safety tie down straps were installed as an added recommendation for traveling. friendly staff all around.

We purchased a boat from Bob and are very happy with our purchase. We also had the outboard motor basically rebuilt by superior boats. Additionally, we had our bayliner winterized by superior boat. The outboard motor repair was completed thoroughly. The mechanic did a great job and James the service manager was professional and kept me informed of all the repairs. While they were deep into the motor a few items were found and they recommended I replace them while the motor was open. I did the recommended service and they saved all the bad parts for me to look at. The winterization process completed on the Bayliner was very thorough and the parts that were removed and a winterzation checklist (initialed at each step by the mechanic) were bagged and attached to the steering wheel so that when the boat is recommissioned everything would be there. I am impressed with the repair work they do-​the mechanic is awesome, the service manager James is very knowledgable. They were willing to work with me within my budget and helped me space the work out so I could cash flow it as it was completed. I highly recommend them for your boat repairs if you want them done right the FIRST time! There is a reason they are rated one of the best boat operations in ca.

At the beginning of August the ingnition system went out on my Supra ski boat. Superior was able to get the back ordered wiring harness and complete the job in time to get us back out on the water for Labor Day. We can’t thank you enough for your attention to detail and your amazing customer service. We can’t imagine going anywhere else for service!

Bob is a great guy and he runs a great business. He started off in a small shop off of Coloma and grown into the bigger newer place on Pyrites where he moved into the sales business of very high end ski boats. He has a passion and it shows. I started bringing my little old boat for winterizations/​spring start ups and received great service even though the cost was a little higher then most in the area. But you knew you were paying for good HONEST service.
However, since Superior has moved into the sales world the service side seems rushed and your made to feel that the staff would rather sell you a boat then service a boat. Likely because there is more money in it, but I can’t hold that against any honest hard working person in America, we all want to make money.
From the service side, they do good work, its honest but a little bit pricey, but as the years have passed its apparent that Superior would rather sell you a boat instead of service a boat.
Again, Honest service and a little over priced but you can tell the service department is taking a back seat to Sales.

The beginning of July we bought a used boat from Superior Boat Repair & Sales and we would like to say that they are professional and very easy to deal with. They will work with the customer to make sure you are satisfied.

I bought a Nautique 210 from Superior Boat Repair & Sales in Rancho Cordova, CA and Bob & team were the absolute best! Bob worked with the factory to expedite shipping from the east coast and got my boat to California in record time. He went so far as to update me daily on progress. When the board racks weren’t with the boat, Bob drove down with them two days later and installed them personally on my boat. If you live in northern California and are considering buying a Nautique, talk to Bob. You won’t find better service or a better deal.

Excellent customer service! I have an older Ski Nautique and trailer which because of the age always has something that needs attention. I just recently had some issues with some work done. I brought this to the attention of the owner, Bob Bense. He and his team went the extra mile to make sure not only the my issue was fully resolved on the mechanical side but that that I was taken care on the customer service side as well. I highly recommend Bob and his team at Superior. They sell high quality products, provide good olé fashion service you can trust, and take pride in providing excellent customer support after the sale.

We have taken our 2003 Super Air Nautique exclusively to Bob Bense since he was with WCCC. When he started Superior Boat Repair & Storage, we followed him there and have been consistently pleased with the quality of work and level of customer service. We will only take our boats to Bob and his team.
