I have been a cardiology patient for 40 years. I have always enjoyed positive and respectful relationships with my cardiologists(one for over 27 years) and their staff. I never experienced such an unprofessional and strange cardiology practice in my life as I did in my brief time as a patient at Eisenhower Desert Cardiology Center. My cardiologist there was Dr. Andrew Frutkin and, although I initially sensed he was capable and competent, my personal experience as his patient proved(to me) that he is rude, arrogant, and no astute problem solver. It is one thing, in my opinion, to be the top of the heap in your professional area of expertise, but if the heap at which one finds himself at the top of is made up of primarily dependent, old people with bad hearts, living out in the desert with few alternatives for cardiac care, and little knowledge of it, the view of the top from the bottom is pretty unimpressive.
