My 86 year old mother was treated surgically by Dr. Vanderwerf to close a scalp excision from a MOHS surgery the day prior. I can say that he and his staff, as well as the surgical center where the procedure was performed, was exceptional. He coordinated with the other doctors to make the whole process very seamless and most important, took extreme care and time to alleviate the worries that mother had. His expertise resulted in the procedure being done in a less invasive way than others had offered with the results being superior and quicker than I ever would have expected. His entire staff is very competent and kept us informed from the first visit until the morning of surgery. Many thanks!

Friendly front office staff. Comfortable waiting room. Fairly easy to make appointments. Just like any Doctors office there is always a wait. Medical assistants were helpful.
Dr Vanderwerf is more than just a ENT doctor but also plastic surgeon. He had better than average people skills. Aside from diagnosing my tonsilitis he was able to take the time to answer other questions without making you feel intimidated. He looked into my nose and moisturized it to alieve my chronic stuffiness. He gave me good recommendations aside from taking nasal sprays. My experience aside from the long wait would make me come back for any of my ENT concerns.
