It was like «easy peasy lemono squeezy «. I was in and out with my smog test done in 20 minutes. Plus they were inexpensive. It only costed me $ 40.00 for smog check. Plus customer service was pleasant and nice.

So I went to Keith’s today for a smog, on my new-​to-​me Chrysler. The car had previously been smogged, however I was informed, by Ken, the owner, that even tho the paper copy of my test said that my car passed it actually had failed due to the visual inspection element of the test. That they would be happy to order the part from the Chrysler dealership and fix the car for me which would run me about $ 300. Because this was a hard pill for me to swallow I called another place for a second opinion. The new place treated me with kindness and respect and said that the repair had been professionally done and saw no reason to fail it. It did however cost me another $ 50 but it was well worth it not to spend the $ 300!

I recently moved to Redding, and chose to start my search for an auto shop at Keith’s because of the reviews.
I’ve been pleased at the professionalism and expertise of Ken and his staff. I don’t foresee going anywhere else for my auto repair and maintenance needs. However, I’ll revisit this review after more I’ve gained more experience doing business here.

Yesterday I went there for a smog, and I highly recommend this place. There’s a reason why this place has all 5 stars! Very friendly and clean environment, also the waiting room makes you feel at home. Soda machine and cable! Lol

Consistently high quality work. Chevrolet and Toyota smog and tune ups. Estimates and parts cost are very competitive. The staff treat my wife and daughter with the same level of respect as mysel in the transaction and explanation of work, more rare than one would expect. The final mark of professionals is that more often than not I’ve been allowed to explain the cars issues to the mechanic whose doing the work, nothing lost in translation. Thanks Guys

This is a clean, well-​run, efficient and most importantly: honest, auto repair shop. I always take our cars in for everything from smog to oil change — not because my wife can’t, but because so many shops try to take advantage of women. (I’m not dissing you ladies, it’s an unfortunate fact that a lot of shops do this). In our case my wife needed her car and took it in to kieth’s herself and had great service. No one tried to sell her their super deluxe totally unnecessary upgrade for an extra fifty bucks, just good, honest what you see is what you get. What you see is an immaculate shop, happy employees and people who go out of their way to accommodate your needs AND do an outstanding job as well. We take all our vehicles there now for all our routine and not so routine work. I would not hesitate in the least to recommend Kieths for your vehicle maintenance and repairs.

My wife and I have been going to Keiths Auto Repair for over 15 years, which I think speaks for itself. They have always been courteous and responsive to our needs and budget. As long as they are around we will continue to give them our business.
