Where do I even begin with Matt?! First of all, he is hands down, one of the nicest, most genuine people, I have ever met… and hilarious at that. I was in a frantic because our original photographer bailed to what many of us brides consider «last minute.» (never hire your «friends» to do anything wedding related for you… needless to say, this is an ex-​friend now!) Anyways, we were probably 3 – 4 months away from the wedding, now looking for a photographer to capture one of the most important days of our lives. Of course, being so close, anyone within our budget and my style was long booked… but then I was referred to Matt. After looking at his work which is absolutely breath taking and was exactly what I was looking for, I emailed him with low hopes, totally expecting him to shoot me down. I explained my story, explained our budget due to what had happened with our «friend,» and not even a day later, I got an email back from him. He was available, he was more than happy to work with us with the budget allowed, he didn’t mind driving all the way to San Diego (where we’re from and the wedding was) but most importantly, he reassured me that things happen and everything would be ok. It was as if the wedding god’s were looking down on me, and made everything happen so that I could find Matt.
We immediately set up a time to meet face to face, and within the first 5 minutes, my now husband and I both knew he was it for us! It sounds so silly, but it’s so true. Photographing your wedding is one of the most important parts of your wedding and Matt absolutely kills it. He has an eye and ideas that you may wonder what on earth you’re doing while doing it, but once you see the final product, it’s seriously an «OMG moment» every single time, in every single picture.
Matt did an engagement shoot for us as well and was SO patient with me changing my mind every 5 minutes about where I wanted to have it. He joked with us, made us feel extremely comfortable, and it was fun as hell! Even off-​roading through the mountains, tumbling over rocks in 100 degree weather. The pictures were incredible.
When it came to the day of our wedding, Matt was early, professional, and still funny as ever! The majority of the time, I didn’t even know he was there taking pictures, but he captured every single part of it. And the pictures… OMG the pictures. Above and beyond and more beautiful than I could have ever hoped for! Matt is seriously AMAZING!
I am so so thankful that everything happened as it did and even more thankful for Matt. I will NEVER use any other photographer for as long as I live! That’s what is so great about him; he’s so incredible and so versatile, he can do everything! He’s a great person, an incredible photographer, and now… a bad ass friend!

Where do I even begin? Matt is simply awesome! I hired him literally like two weeks before my wedding and explained what I wanted and that I was on a tight budget since it was so last minute, and he worked with my husband and I, no problem! He gets every perfect detail down to the T and his work is flawless! He is so kind and produces the most beautiful videos! We have used Matt as our photographer for our daughter over the past couple years. He is always so patient and kind hearted while working with kids. He suggests great locations for shots, but is always open for other ideas. He is quick to get edits back, and wants his clients happy. We will continue to use him for years to come.

Matt is the best! We hired him as a videographer for our wedding and we were so impressed with the results! From start to finish of the whole process he was very professional and very helpful. Matt is a talented photographer and I am so happy we went with him. He has a real passion for his work and you are able to see it in his photos. He took some candid photos in a parking lot while we were getting set up and even made those look amazing. Where do I even begin writing this review?! Matt is in this business for reason, he is hands down the best photographer you will ever find in this area and beyond!
My now wife Kayla and I found Matt online about 4 months ago and was our first and last choice when we chose him for our wedding and engagement photographer. We shot our engagement photos at my cabin up by Big Bear and exceeded any other time I have had behind a camera. He made the whole experience fun, relaxed and of course spontaneous! Not to mention the photos we absolutely breathtaking that we will always look back at with great appreciation.
Matt shot our wedding on July 4^th, 2015 at Highland Springs Resort in Cherry Valley, CA. I thought there was no way he could out do himself from our engagement shoot but of course I was wrong. He took the most stunning photos I can honestly I have seen! My wife and I have looked at them every night since then and can not wait to put our album together.
As you can tell there is no one else I would recommend for your photography needs than Matthew Reiter. He is just not the best photographer around but a great guy and can connect with you on a personal level in almost any way. We had our nerdy ness and love for comics!

I had such a great experience working with Matt for my senior photoshoot! He knew I’d never had professional photos taken before and gave me a quick rundown of all the little hints and tricks for great pictures and, without a doubt, they worked! He had no problem walking me through everything, where I should put my hands, how to tilt my head, when to smile or look off into the distance, even striking the occasional pose so I would know exactly what to do. In addition, his charming and hilarious personality steadily brought me out of my shell and by the end of the shoot I was completely comfortable, like I was shooting with an old friend.
The pictures themselves were fantastic! I never believed I was photogenic but Matt assured me it was all about finding the right angles and lighting; yet again, he was right! I would HIGHLY recommend his services. Not only are his photos great quality, but the experience itself was highly enjoyable! I’ll definitely be using him again :) Thanks Matt!

Matthew caught me at a bridal show. The bottom line is that HE WAS WORTH EVERY PENNY. He was happy, energetic, professional, fun to be around, and our engagement photos and wedding photos are AMAZING. He edited several of the photos of our wedding overnight and I am SO excited to see the entire album. There is nothing more I could have asked for from a wedding photographer and I will be recommending him EVERYWHERE. So book him! The end.

Matt is a true professional! I wish there was a 100 star option because he certainly deserves it! I have shot with several photographers and none even come close to Matt’s overall professional and considerate demeanor. From the start, he gave me wonderful input on what attire worked best and even put up with all my selfies of my outfits (I had to make sure they worked). Upon meeting him he was prompt and ready to go (I was late, oops). Within 5 minutes time I felt as if I had known him all my life. He has a very stress free, easy going temperament with just the right amount of spunk. His great sense of humor had me laughing every few minutes. He was extremely considerate, he carried all my bags down a steep slope (along with all of his equipment too)! Matt has a wonderful way of making you really feel like there is no pressure at all (and I am a pretty anxious person). I can be uncoordinated and don’t know much about proper posing. It almost felt like Matt was the photographer AND the model. If I needed help posing (which was the majority of the time) he directed me on what would work. If I still was unsure, he even physically acted out each pose that he knew would look ideal for each setting, and then I reenacted them. I didn’t have to worry about looking awkward. Time flew by, we both had a blast. At the end of our shoot I told him not to rush with editing the photos, I was okay waiting a bit. He didn’t listen, he was ready with my photos within no time. The quality of his work absolutely blew me away. His creative mind is superior. Matt is worth every penny. I wanted him to take more of my money. Matt has a true genuine passion for this and it most definitely shows through the images. Don’t think you will find a better photographer out there, you won’t. I already mentally booked him for my wedding day (I just have to get my man to commit first).

Simply the best. The ONLY photographer I will ever use. Matt has done photos for me from portraits, real estate, wedding etc. Not only will you get stunning photos, he is also a blast to work with. Highly recommend!!!

Matthew was suggested to me by a friend. I asked him to help me get some family photographs of my teenage son and I. We had never done anything like this before and really had no idea where to begin. Matthew spent some time talking and getting to know us and suggested how we could make the pictures representative of our personalities. We found some great spots in our home town and ended up with a wide variety of pictures to choose from. It was, and still is today, hard to decide which shots to frame and hang around the house.

I have now done two shoots with Matt. I had never done any modeling and didn’t have a clue what I was doing but Matt made me feel comfortable and demonstrated some of the poses for me, which was so helpful and quite hilarious! I got some great photos! I also did a yoga shoot and got some amazing photos for my business cards and website! He did an amazing job editing the photos and was quite prompt in getting them to me. He has a great eye for photography and an awesome personality so he is fun to work with! I would recommend him to anyone for any of their photography needs!

I did my first photoshoot ever with Matt and was really nervous going in. I had no experience in front of a camera, and wasn’t sure how good the photos would turn out because of this. Matt helped guide me through the entire process and made me feel very comfortable. He really helped coordinate my movements and posing, and we figured out what works and what doesn’t. He’s not only an amazing photographer with a great artistic perception, but also a talented director and overall amazing person to work with. I would definitely recommend Matt for everyone, regardless of the occasion!
