Classes integrate all aspects of practising yoga: asana & pranayama, meditation, yogic philosophy reconceptualized for the modern world. Class size is small (up to 5 students) to provide adequate attention so you can build a safe practice. Where ever you are in your yogic journey, you will find the challenge or comfort you are looking for, by way of layered instruction, props and modifications.
Asana is taught with alignment and knowledge of anatomy so that it can permeate the body at a deeper level to nourish the organs, nerves, muscles and the mind. It is not about achieving the perfect pose. It is about mindfully exploring the body and becoming more comfortable in the form you have right now, while aspiring and practicing to get to the next level. Heartfull meditation techniques are used to focus the mind so you may unfold more of your heart’s desires.
