READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE STEPPING A FOOT IN THIS PLACE! Walked in for a pedicure and there wasn’t anyone in here. The 2 options are pedicure $ 35 (does not include designs, salt/​sugar scrub, clay, or anything extra) or $ 55 for spa (no idea what this includes but can’t imagine it’s much). The jet machines do not turn on, the chair massagers do not work, and the one person that spoke any English would not stop making racial slurs and talking about what is so wrong with America. I come her for a relaxing time, not to hash out politics. My brother and mom came in too. They did not cut our cuticles, correctly scrub our callouses, or tell us the selection of nail polish they provide is $ 5 extra. The leg and foot massage was only mediocre. This would be an excellent review if the pedicure was $ 10.

Great place! The service was great, and the ladies here were very pleasant! I live in Issaquah, and stopped in while I was in the area… I will most certainly be making the drive back to have my nails done, they far exceeded any salon I have been to.

I came here for a polish since it was included in a wedding event I won tickets to at Redmond Town Center. I’ve had no prior nail salon experience and was sad this was my first. The polish selection was super limited — only reds, a few pinks and maybe a purple? and though it wasn’t busy, it seemed like they wanted to get my sister and I out of there ASAP. They painted super quickly, my sister’s nails had paint bubbles on them, and though the lady who did my nails told me my nails weren’t dry yet and wanted me to put them under a mini fan for longer, another lady (I’m guessing the owner?) told me to just go outside and it’ll dry because it’s nice out. Okay… needless to say, a few of my nails messed up a little :/​Good thing I picked a subtle, sheer pink so it’s not too noticeable.
Keep in mind they were participating in this event to try to get you to come back to prepare for your big day. No thanks. Also, seeing now how low the rating already is, I don’t think my poor experience was just because I didn’t go in as a paying customer. I don’t recommend, and will not return :/​There are nail shops everywhere and I’m sure others can provide a better experience.

I’ve been coming to Studio Nails since 2006 and have never once had a poor experience. Nail tech Kerry is amazing, her products are worth the cost imho — I wore gels for 4 years straight, never had my nails get damaged. When I finally took them off, they were strong and healthy.
Prices and services are subjective — I’d personally prefer to go to a place that’s been around for years, uses good quality products and who are upfront when you ask about costs. Their salon menu is readily available as you walk in. If you don’t ask before you start a service…

I had great service. No complaints there but I should have asked what the price was for a spa pedicure. She said it would take less than 45 minutes so I just assumed it was going to be around $ 30. It was $ 55! I haven’t paid that rate since being in a 5 start resort for a pedicure! Very happy with the results and service but probably woudln’t pay that much again unless I was in a pinch.

Unfortunately, I have to agree with the other reviews. EXTREMELY expensive gel manicure and it was not nearly as nice as cheaper ones I’ve had. The polish didn’t stay on as long either. The woman who did my manicure seemed nice enough but the owner stood over us the entire time and told her what to do and how to do it. In between giving lessons to her staff she absolutely talked my ear off about herself and her personal opinions on things like body piercings and tattoos… Things that you should probably be careful about saying to a stranger because you never know what they have or what they might find offensive.
Anyway, I paid a lot of money to get a crappy manicure and get an ear full from a complete stranger about how great they are and their social beliefs.
Don’t go here. Drive a few blocks and go to Vivi’s Nails.

Good old bait and switch… twice! Kicking myself for not checking Unilocal before going to shop. Homecoming weekend so my daughter and I stopped in to ask about setting an appointment for two pedicures. Lady said no wait. Lots of chairs available so we headed in, 3 seats were taken and had ladies working on them. We asked to see the colors and were told they would bring them to us. So we sat down started soaking our feet. They brought us three cards with colors… not a great selection we wouldn’t have stayed but by now our feet were soaking. 20 minutes later the best part of our visit Marie started working on us switching back and forth between the two of us. If the owner had said come back in 30 minutes we would have been great with that, but instead we wasted time sitting and waiting… bait and switch number 1. So we decided on a color and Maria starts to paint our toes and the owner walks over and says that it is going to be $ 40 per pedicure instead of the previously quoted $ 35 because the polish selection they gave us was more expensive… they only gave us one option… bait and switch number 2. Maria was great, the owner however was constantly looking over Maria’s shoulder. I hope someone will hire Maria away to work in a less passive aggressive shop. When we left I paid with a cc but handed Maria her tip, which she handed to owner… which made us sad. To top it off, that fancy polish that cost more… already chipped

Wow, the reviews here are terrible! I’m kind of glad I didn’t check before, but now I’m a little scared.
I got a normal manicure. It was pricier than I’ve had, I think I’ve gotten $ 7 manicures in southern California, but… the polish did last a long time. It was a special kind of gel that didn’t use UV light to cure. It never chipped or flaked and I didn’t baby my nails. I’m pretty sure I put together several IKEA stuff and didn’t have a problem. Lasted 3 weeks before it started peeling and I had already trimmed my nails.
I figured it was the polish that made the price so high. I didn’t have a problem with service or anything though. 3 stars!

Like another reviewer, I wish that I had looked at these reviews before I spent my money here. I had the basic pedicure for $ 35, and it was the fastest and most poorly done pedicure I have ever had. I had to re-​shape my toenails myself, since they were crooked and misshaped after the pedicure, and they didn’t even file or shape my friend’s toenails at all. And there was pretty much no nail polish selection to speak of — I think I had my choice of 10 different reds or 10 metallics. I will never come here again.

Wish I would have checked reviews before I went. The only thing they have going for themselves is really the location. No selection of colors to choose from… mehhh to expensive… Paid 55 for Mani and pedi plus’s tip :/​just not happy… nail filed down way to short when I asked for them to be shaped. Pedi was not good… short…and no massage… just bad… could say more but I feel bad for them.

Stay away from here… the ladies are not very friendly and I have been a regular for over a year! For me it was the last straw when Carrie (one of the main ladies that works there) was going to make me pay for a $ 25 fill on my nails when I had just had them done 7 days prior and paid $ 55!!! She simply did not push back my cuticles as she usually does and therefore it looked as though I had growth. Nails do not grow this fast and if they do they do not grow a ¼ of an inch in 7 days! And if you are one of those people who’s nails do grow that fast then lucky you and you don’t need to go here anyway. Not to mention how rude she was to me when I told her what I thought had happened, she wanted me to come back the same evening at 10pm! Telling me that she was booked all day. I am no diva by any means I can understand having to wait my turn or booking an appointment, but this place I know for a fact is never that busy! All in all I am done here never ever going back! I found a wonderful new place near my home and they are so kind and respectful to their guests. Redmond Ridge Nails in Redmond, WA is an amazing salon they give 45 minute pedis for only $ 25 and do such a great job on nails I get compliments all the time on mine! So Go there! :)

This place was horrible. They stood over one another and critiqued each others work the entire time I was getting over overpriced mani-​pedi.
My shellac came off of three fingers within 12 hours… and I usually get shellac that lasts until I soak it off, so it was not my nails.
The lady moved me from the pedi to mani chair andd in the process, stepped on my toe and I had to get it repainted. Although it took forever, it worked out well ebcause the other big toe looked bad, so I asked her to re-​do that one while she was at the other one. I was nice about it but she was NOT happy.
I guess maybe they did such a bad job because they gave me a «deal»… $ 110! Worst «deal» ever!

This place is a rip off! No posted prices. They try to get you signed up for extra special service, which you can get at other salons for a lot less. THEN they charged us $ 7.00 just to use their nail polish because we didn’t bring our own. And no, they did’t give us the bottle! I can go anywhere else in Redmond and get a good pedicure and not get charged $ 42.00.

Unbelievable! I made an appointment for a pedicure and after a rather basic garden variety pedicure I was charged $ 65 for the spa pedicure! What a rip off! When I complained I was told that they would give me a refund but the women who did my nails wouldn’t get paid! Way to throw me under the bus. When I asked to speak with the owner I was directed to call DJ and given an overseas number. What a scam! There are so many things wrong with this I can’t even believe it. I will never go back and will tell everyone I know to stay away!

WOW! I am from Southern California and apparently our salon standards are much higher and the operators are more trust worthy. I know so many people in the area and will make sure, I report the type of services I received from this so called salon. They over charge, charge different customer’s different amounts (if they think you are an easy customer e.g., from out of town your expense will be higher). I also have connections with the Marriott and will make sure I not only spread the word from a professional perspective, but personal one as well. Keep a hold of your money and go somewhere else. A place that is honest and upfront. Worst Spa Pedicure and highest priced. Shame on on you Studio Nails!

WOW — My bff and I were having a nice happy hour — we did make reservations for 4:00 to have pedi’s… during our drinks and meal they called (3:45’ish) to have us hurry in. We left the restaurant, walked in and were pretty much ignored.
Sat in our chairs and waited. The attendants were very unfriendly almost to the point of being rude. We had a basic pedicure and were rushed thru that. Time to pay…$ 35. Thirty Five Dollars!!! Way too expensive for the treatment. I will NEVER go there again.

Terrible-​and they cheat you on the actual service.
We did not want any of the extra spa services but she still charged us 55.00 for SPA pedi!
I didnt feel like arguing with her… but I got less then what I get for 25.00 at regular nail places on my pedi… terrible. and trickery.

I have been a customer of this nail salon for over 10 years. I can say every time I’ve walked out of the salon, I’ve always been extremely satisfied. It doesn’t matter if I’m having a fill, spa pedicure or just a pedicure; I always walk out feeling I got my money’s worth. I appreciate the fact that although the economy has been questionable, the salon has never raised their prices and continues to use high quality nail products. This is important to me, since I’ve suffered adverse allergic reactions to lower quality nail products used by most salons.
I enjoy the staff. They are professional and considerate. Pam and Carrie are always pleasant and I can always count on them if I need to get in for a nail emergency!
I highly recommend this salon.

I wish I would have had the time to check the reviews in advance; however, my husband and I just happened to be walking by one Saturday evening and thought it would be something fun for us to do (he’s never had a pedicure).
I wouldn’t even necessarily be writing this terrible review if the price they charged was reasonable for the service, but I was shocked when I looked at the receipt a few days later (my husband paid and since he’s never had a pedicure, didn’t know what to compare against) — $ 55 each for a pedicure that I would easily have paid no more than $ 30 elsewhere (for a far better one at that!)! And, my husband didn’t even get polish (thankfully!).
My first disappointment came as soon as we sat down. The massage chairs must run on AAA batteries — I know the power was on and kept hitting the up arrow, but I could have probably gotten a better back massage if I put my cellphone on vibrate (sadly, this is not an exaggeration).
We were convinced to go with the «upgrade,» which was supposed to have given us an «extended» foot massage. We were the only people in the place, so I figured extended would end up being a great massage. It wasn’t extended at all — about 10 minute massage (made me wonder what the regular version was like!). Worse: my husband said that the lady was practically digging her nails into him, so it was more painful than soothing.
I would be hard-​pressed to say that I would return to this place even if the pedicure were only $ 25 (namely, b/​c I enjoy a good foot massage, which they have no idea how to do), but I definitely will not be returning for $ 55.

Worst pedicure I’ve EVER had! It took all of 27 minutes from start to finish… No massage, she didn’t even exfoliate all of the dead skin away! When I sat down she said it was $ 55 but worth it. I thought, OK, kind of pricey, but if it’s worth it then I don’t mind spending the money at all! This place is worse than the worst $ 20 pedi I’ve ever had! I’ll never go back!
