Came out to the house to fix what I broke. They did a great job and will definitely call again.

Redmonds the go to spot in North Redono for all my duplicate key and locksmith needs, great customer service and fair pricing.

Just how it should be — friendly, helpful — and they do what they say they are going to, on time. So many small local businesses could learn a thing or two from these guys. Not looking to overcharge, or sell you stuff that you don’t need.

My first visit to RAL&K was to have extra keys made for multiple doors and was asked if I wanted to have the keys stamped? I had never been asked that before and was told easy to do and helps ID the keys. Great! Wonderful Idea!
My second call to RAL&K was to help get our front door open as the strike must of been a lemon and refused to budge. RAL&K sent Steve out to rescue us! After a mild fight with the door he got the bad strike out and replaced it.
I’m close to needed to make a third call since El Nino weather has swollen the door and now locking the door is a chore. My 4^th call will be to the Door store!

Fast, efficient service. Steve serviced and re-​keyed an old lock/​deadbolt system and made us several duplicate keys in about 20 minutes.

I called Redmond Aviation Lock & Key yesterday morning to see how quickly they could have someone out to rekey four locks in my house. The gentleman I spoke with said someone could come out between 3pm and 4pm which was perfect for my schedule. I had called a few other places to compare quotes and Redmond was the most reasonable and closest to my house.
Steve called me at about 2:45pm to say he was 10 minutes away and showed up promptly thereafter. He was very friendly, quick, and did a great job. All of the locks slide easier and work better than they did before! I am very satisfied with the results and will use Redmond again for any of my locksmith needs.

Called Redmonds lock and key to put in a new deadbolt and re-​key it. Steve with Redmonds was fantastic. Showed up on time, friendly, worked quickly and cleaned up after himself. Price was about what we spent before for locksmith services and I am very happy.
I had been putting off this task but Redmond’s lock and key made it easy.

They’re open on Saturdays as well by appointment. He came by on time and was professional and pleasant. Answered any questions I had. Would use them again if needed.

I’ve just moved into the neighborhood and Redmond was recommended by my broker. I’ve used them twice so far and they are fast, friendly, and professional. They took just 30 minutes to respond the first time and 5 minutes to respond the second time. Talk about fast! From the two service calls, they picked 2 locks, replaced a knob, re-​keyed all the doors, and made a bunch of keys. Everything worked flawlessly and rates were very reasonable. These guys are awesome! I highly recommend them!

I needed to make copies of my house key in a timely manner. The friendly crew at Redmond’s had me all set w 2 new copies in less than 5 minutes. The staff is very knowledgeable and they provide excellent customer service.

Latch on the front door stopped working, took the whole assembly in to Redmond’s to make sure I got the right part, they knew exactly what I needed, put it on the lockset and tested it found a small problem with the old lockset, made some adjustments, old lockset with a new latch works perfectly, in and out in less than 10 minutes and for under $ 20.00. Very reasonably priced and they know their business.

These guys are the Real Deal… I lost my only set of keys to my truck on a Holiday Weekend!!! And was freaking out!!! They came out with a mobile unit and cut me a new hard to cut key for my 2014 truck. Within the next week I dropped by to pick up the new remote that they ordered and programmed from the dealer !!! I’d give them 100 stars if I could!!! Losing your keys is a terrible ordeal and having a honest locksmith that didn’t take complete advantage of me financially was just even more unbelievable!!! Thanks again Redmonds for helping me through this … I was able to get on with the holidays and not stress out!!!

I needed an obscure key made for a lock that belongs to a house built in 1941… I had quite the challenge on my hands. Home Depot attempted to assist… they failed… twice. I was actually visiting a store near Redmond’s Lock and Key, when I walked by and thought «what the heck… give ‘em a try.» I am so glad I did. Not only did they match the key, they had it in the same brand as the original key.
I am so happy they were able to assist, because I thought I was going to have to change the locks. The staff at Redmond’s was really friendly, and they had a nice space heater going, which was nice because it was raining outside and I was freezing. I was in and out of there in less than ten minutes, and only spent like $ 2.50 to replace a funky, old key. Thanks Redmond’s!

As others have already stated this place is a class act. A family run business that reminds us all of how things use to be– friendly, reliable, honest, and happy to help in anyway they can. As an added bonus, the mom of the business who answers the phone will make you feel like you are back in 1983 (in a warm and wonderful way).
I called them on a Monday morning and they stopped by our house a few hours later.

We had an emergency situation and they came right away, early in the morning. They were super quick and efficient and very friendly ! I would recommend them to anyone and everyone :)

Such nice people! I was having a problem with my car and Matt came to my rescue. My alarm all of a sudden started going off and the engine won’t start, on street sweeping day! I called Redmond’s to see if they work with alarm systems, and Matt walked down the street after hearing the alarm to see if there’s anything he can help with. After many failed attempts, we couldn’t get the alarm to stop going off. Finally, Matt recommended Alex from European Car Stereo next door (another super nice guy) and Alex subsequently fixed all of the alarm problems. Thanks for going out of way to help, Matt! I’ve been here many times before for keys, locks, etc, and they’ve always been super! What a great neighborhood business =)

Very nice, helpful and quick. Great price, have a ford which needs a special chip in the key. Made at least 6 calls and Redmonds was almost half the price of all of them. I highly recommend Redmonds!

BEST PLACE IN THE SOUTH BAY hands down.
I have a dog walking business in the area, which means I have to make a lot of keys and often. I had gone to a few in the area and had lots of problems with keys working. In my business we need our keys to work!
The moment I walked into this place I knew it was going to be my new «second home» (I make keys a lot). They have two beautiful labs that greet you with wagging tails. Who doesn’t love that? I adore that this is a family business, and they are so warm and welcoming.
Most importantly, I have NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH ANY KEY I have ever had copied here. That says a lot! I have 100’s made per year…
Pros– fairly priced, family owned, friendly service, excellent products and key making ability

Fellow Unilocalers have served me well once again. Top notch service. I called and was not sure what I wanted to do with my new home’s 4 doors. The employee that picked up the phone offered to come by after lunch to take a look.
The hubby and I were going to get high security locks that cost a pretty penny, but Redmond’s guy told us it wasn’t necessary with our alarm system in place. I appreciate the very honest service, and the fact that he offered to come out for free to help us make the best decision possible for my family.
The locksmith that came out the next day was great. A great local business.

Redmond’s Key Service is an old-​fashioned, small key shop.
Barbara owns and runs the shop, and she is a local treasure. She makes key duplicates, sells locks and safes, and provides related services and products. But if she does not have a product, she knows all the local merchants and will call around for you! Great servuce!
