Breakfast on the pier. The only plus here was the cost of the breakfast on the pier. Watching the harbor seals in the water. Greasy pancakes, fat chunked sausage and fair at best eggs. The restaurant is worn and has seen better days. Ripped chairs, faded and dirty Windows. Coupled with lackluster service. Why come here then. Its only for the view. The restaurant at the end of the pier and it’s fun watching the amateur fishermen try there skills. Next time I’ll pass.

Strawberry funnel cakes and churros… THEYARESOOOOGOOD! Soft serve ice cream is really good too! They also have other various flavors like green tea, strawberry cheesecake, rocky road and those typical flavors, but the soft serve vanilla is my favorite. Also they serve sandwiches, lunch and dinner and also breakfast! The portions are fairly large and did i mention delicious?! The view goes great with your meal, as well! Service… So nice and helpful! Attentive and are always there to refill your drinks. They seem to only have one person working the dining area, but no complaints! They try their best! I do recommend this place if you are visiting the pier! Oh! they also filmed the OC here! If you’re a fan, visit visit visit! They have a photo of the actors and actresses at on of the tables so you can take a picture!

I love eating here! Breakfast is served from 730am — 2pm and they never disappoint. The diner has a beautiful view of the pacific ocean on the west and of palos verdes on south. This place is a gem!

Having been coming here for years. I always enjoy a chocolate dipped vanilla ice cream cone. Plus their funnel cake is DELICIOUS!!!

I had a burger and fries. It is your basic cafeteria like burger. One thing I did notice is most locations place the burger on the bottom then add the toppings. The toppings were added first then the patty on top. I guess after you pick it up it is corrected with the patty on the bottom. Overall, it was a very average burger. The fries were ok. Served hot and mildly salted. Place could use a little TLC but I have eaten in worse locations. There are a lot of flies and is has more to do with the fishermen located outside. The have sit down area and a take away window. Prices are decent. Average service. I would not eat here if you are in a rush. I walked out of here satisfied and felt like I had not overpaid due to its location on the pier.

This place is run down and falling apart. Food is just crappy diner food. Ordered Big Mans Breakfast — French Toast had no cinnamon or vanilla in it just dipped in Egg. Bacon over cookers, sausage burned, eggs over cooked. Server is lazy and not very attentive at all to customers. The menu and plate presentation is 50 years old and taste like it as well. They also offer Korean BBQ Ribs, tilapia fish tacos very weird menu. No worth a visit to eat here!!!

This is my favorite place. My Matt just proposed to me here. We’re planning our wedding to be on the pier and end in the coffee shop. The huevos rancheros taught me how to love. The mocha had the slightest dash of cinnamon which inspires hope throughout my body. The Belgian waffle would go well with some whipped cream… But who cares. This place is a sanctuary.

As a big fan of the OC my girlfriend and I decided to go and check it out. We ordered the pancakes as it was pancake day in England and they tasted of fish. Yep, you read right fish. Avoid at all costs.

— Locale Destination — It’s in Fisherman’s Wharf in Redondo Beach. It’s on the left end side of Fisherman’s Wharf. It’s right by the fishing area. The walking area here is pretty dirty thanks to the fishing people — craps from fishing, the area for dealing with the bait, lots of bird craps etc. But you can enjoy the ocean /harbor view at the big area right by it with lots of tent-like objects. The sign isn’t so obvious — yellow tent with small sign, but the location(in the wharf) is pretty good. Once you pass the«Tony’s», you’ll see it on your left side. Décor: Inside is pretty outdated — it would trip you to a «grandma’s house» literally. Very old, some sorta«flower» decors, little dingy, everything but the foods was old. View: You can enjoy some sort of «ocean view», but it is nothing like the«ocean view» at Malibu or something(See my pictures). The old windows seem to cut the enjoyment of view. So don’t expect too much on «great» ocean view. Service: Quick and friendly. It seemed to run by Koreans. Menu: very«American» and all sorta items — breakfast menu to steak etc. Parking: You need to pay first at the machine to park at the parking structure by the pier. Remember the number at your spot before the purchase of your ticket. The higher the number, the closer to the wharf the area number is.(7 is by the wharf, 1 is the furthest area from the wharf). You can find a street parking, but you would need to walk a bit. — Gluttony Expedition — Scramble egg with chorizo: the taste wasn’t bad but the cooking quality wasn’t there. It comes with a small portion of country potato and 2 slices of toasts. Not bad. Good enough for me but kinda small for people in general. Buttermilk banana pancakes: Each topping costs you $ 1 or so. Plain pancakes(big 3 stacks) are $ 6.50. Mine was $ 7.50. Pancakes were moist and tasty. I like it! Very big portion! BIG chunks of banana comes with it. — Conqueror’s Deduction — Diner with grandma’s décor — no ambiance besides sorta decent«ocean view» at the fisherman’s wharf. The price might be a little higher side due to the location. However, they offer decent foods. I’m not willing to come here all the way, but the food isn’t bad. This«international» things here at the wharf are kinda blizzard : Seafood(try fresh uni!) — check. Russian(very cheap beer and decent food) — check Thai(so so) — check French Japanese(I need to check it) — check American — check Mexican — check I didn’t check them all, but those are the ones I’ve tried and just passed by. This place doesn’t have a stellar view nor atmosphere, however, it’s sort of interesting…

Love this place! I am so thankful my bf introduced me to this place. They have the most delicious French toast. And their burgers are yummy as well. I have never encountered any issues with my order and the people working there are super kind! Best of all you get to have a delicious meal with a spectacular view. It amazes me how it empty every time we go. Redondo Beach visitors are missing out!

Food was okay, and the view is amazing. Service is TERRIBLE. I had 8 people with me, so of course we’re going to have a lot of orders. After every order I would place, the cashier would roll her eyes and let out big sighs. And to top it off, they didn’t even get all of our orders added.

This is a favorite breakfast spot of ours. It’s a simple little diner with great views of the water, pier, and all the fisherman. Service has always been excellent. Three sips of coffee and they’re there to fill it back up. The breakfast menu gives lots of choices– everything from a simple egg, toast, and potatoes for about $ 7 to french toast to pancakes to a variety of omelets. Healthy choices and not-so-healthy choices. :) The food has been consistently good. It’s nothing ultra-special, but if you want a good breakfast and a place to relax and take your time and people-watch, this is the spot. They accept credit cards, unlike Polly’s on the Pier which is cash only. No outdoor seating.

Honestly, I had a poor experience here at my second time back. I bought a mango boba and a lot of the boba stuck together on the bottom. But when I’ve had coffee here it was good. Also I remember the frozen chocolate banana was a little hard too.

PROS: — Friendly staff — I had scrambled eggs with diced ham and the English muffin, and it was yummy CONS: — Soooo cold in there! — Portions weren’t that filling for the price MISC: — I think this place is having a bit of an identity crisis because the menu board featured out-of-place food items… like teriyaki

What this place lacks in décor, it makes up for in awesome breakfast food! You can’t get more basic than this place, which makes it even better to proclaim its great food. It looked like the main patrons were locals, which is always a good sign. Located at the end of the Redondo Beach pier, you have a feeling of being suspended over the water. This was fun for me, not so much for my decidedly un-seafaring son. He did much better after he turned his back to the water and focused on the gigantic portion of pancakes set before him. The server was cheerful and, while slightly confused with the bevy of special requests from my six and seven year old(they wanted to split a muffin,” can I get half an order of pancakes, what type of syrup do you have, can I have a smoothie, No you can’t you can get juice. Chocolate milk! No, hot chocolate, can I have whipped cream?” … You get the idea). I ordered the California omelette. Who knew such a thing existed. Bacon, veggies and cheese topped with the most delicious chili beans. Yes, I did manage to devour most of it, along with the crispy home fries and several bites of my daughter’s delightfully light pancakes. Did I mention I don’t even care for pancakes, but these were SOGOOD! The coffee was good, the service was attentive and the food was definitely worth a repeat visit. The omelette menu was gigantic — I wish I lived closer so I could try it all out. We were amused by the fact that this was also a bait shop. No worries, the bait shop is separate, on the other side of the café. There was also an open counter where one can purchase ice cream, drinks, and I imagine sandwiches and snacks.

This is on the pier near the fishers and it’s a beautiful view of the ocean. You come here for ice cream, shakes, funnel cake, and various desserts. I got a Vanilla ice cream — $ 4.95 — which was kinda overpriced for a McDonalds ice cream but I guess you pay for the view. Also got a Strawberry shortcake and it was also very small for the price. SERVICE: Standard FOOD: The funnel cake was good. But all the foods were kinda overpriced. They were nice enough to give me water too(but I bought something from them, so it’s all good.) OVERALL: Nice site to eat ice cream.

This place is cute and the view is AWESOME! I came here with my boyfriend for a small breakfast. I really just wanted to dine in so we could see the beautiful view. We ordered a vegetable omelet to share, coffee, and orange juice. The omelet came with a tiny cup of salsa, sliced oranges, and 2 pieces of watermelon. The coffee was good and so was the omelet. They have a pretty diverse menu from waffles w/strawberries to kbbq combos. I really liked coming here for breakfast though because there was NOONE else dining in, so it was just me and my boyfriend in our large booth enjoying the beautiful view alone. I highly recommend coming here for breakfast. You don’t even have to order food. Just order a cup of joe and marvel at the ocean.
