This review is for their boba: the boba itself was good, but the Thai tea was so watery and did not have any flavor. Sad sad

I came here looking for tutti frutti and eventually found out it got renamed to chill cup. There’s new management and she added boba and drinks, hence the name. That’s cool I guess. I remember four years ago that tutti frutti’s froyo was pretty exceptional. So you can imagine my slight disappointment when I came back and not only saw their limited amount of flavors, but also how it very closely tasted like a milky slushie in a cup. The fruits were also very unappealing… Dried pale strawberries, brownish grapes, and dried kiwis. Third strike was the lack of cheesecake bites(I know it’s weird that I super need this on my froyo lol…) and HARD mochi. I decided I won’t come back for froyo since there are so many other options. But I decided to come back to give the drinks a shot since it was worth the name change and all. Man did I feel ripped off. $ 4.97 for a milk tea that doesn’t even taste like milk tea! Yes it’s a huge cup, but I can still feel and taste the texture of the syrup and it almost tasted like coffee. Also, the cap is one of those bloated whipped cream caps that barely fit the straw length, so it was pretty challenging sucking up the boba and stirring the straw to dilute the syrup. I’m really sad to express my disappointment in such a staple drink. I was the only customer at the time, so it’s not like she was pressed on time to make a good drink. I’ll drive the extra ten minutes for cheaper and better milk tea. Sorry chill cup.

Terribly slow, employee on her phone sitting in the dining room while customers wait on their orders. Took 40 minutes from order to receive 4 drinks. They seem completely disorganized and even forgot one of the drinks we paid for. I will not return to this crapshoot… weak customer service, and the bubble tea wasn’t even that good, poor exrcution all around

I’m pretty easy going with most things, but this place was a bubble tea addict’s(aka me) nightmare. It’s currently named Chill Cup, but they might want to change it back Tutti Frutti. Their yogurt was decent for yogurt. Nothing special and pretty standard. Although, the machines made the yogurt come out faster and thicker than I expected(which made my cup more expensive unintentionally.) Their bubble tea was horrendous. Just looking at it made me cringe. The boba was dry and the milk tea was extremely watery and practically flavorless. The cups were low quality and the tea itself was lukewarm. Not a very pleasant experience. Their menu needs to be updated as well. They claim on their menu to have buns, but that is in fact untrue as of a few months. They apparently haven’t sold them in a while. :/which is very sad.

Very disappointed. The mochi are old and hard. Fruits are not kept fresh. The cashier girl was not nice either. We got the ‘reward’ card and even though we spent almost $ 20 for three cups, she only punched for once. Other places would have counted as three purchases. She said they count visits no matter how much we spent. This is the last time we will visit here. Oh, and the bathroom was disgusting!

This particular Tutti Frutti has gone through a lot of changes! For the better also, so give it a chance :). They now have legit cups and spoons with their logo on it unlike the regular plastic spoons before which I really like. Yogurt flavors and toppings are similar to anywhere else. One difference that makes them stand out a little bit though is they have a section for baked goods, great for breakfast!

This place has really stepped up their game within the past few months. I still give it 3 stars because I’ve only been twice since the improvements have been made. Hopefully I can update this review later to more stars. I take the kids I nanny here at least once a month if not more so. The flavor selection is meh. It has all the general frozen yogurt flavors and then one special flavor. The fruit is here and there; sometimes fresh, sometimes not. My first job was at a frozen yogurt place. I worked at Yumilicious in Plano for some of my senior year of high school. There, the fruit is always changed out every hour, to maintain freshness. I wish Tutti Frutti would do that. Recently, they repainted the walls, and added sofa chairs. The environment is better now, but they still have a long way to go to truly compete with other froyo places such as Yumilicious, Yogurtland, Pinkberry, and Yogurtville.

I am glad that we have a location like this in Richardson. The place is clean and the selection is okay. I think an asian family owns it because the notes posted obviously have some grammatical issues. That being said, its a good place to hit after dinner or after a hot day in the park to help cleanse the palette.

Very nice and calm place. Delicious frozen yogurt. When next door Starbucks is full I come here to study and I can catch Starbucks and kdoba wifi.

I would give it no stars if Unilocal allowed that. When we walked in, it smelled like nail polish, but we were still going to give it a shot. The person working saw us as we came in, but stayed in the back. When we rang the bell for assistance, we noticed a very passive aggressive sticky note. It insisted that customers ring the bell, but«ONLYONCE!» Sheesh. We finally got our sample cups. The employee didn’t even say a single word. Just grunted and went back to the back. I tried the chocolate flavor. This is the first time in my whole life that I have disliked chocolate anything. It was just gross. The people in my group sampled other flavors and were completely unimpressed. The toppings looked like they had been sitting there for a long time, not fresh at all. We decided to leave and try a different frozen yogurt place. Bad service, bad yogurt, bad smell, and bad toppings.

Waste a time. 20 $ for 2 frozen yogurts that weren’t even that great. The toppings weren’t fresh and me and my significant other barely filled our cups up. Something is off with this place.

Not impressed at all. The toppings didn’t look fresh. The employee wasn’t very welcoming. It was expensive. Go to Yumilicious.

I know my yogurt places Pinkberry, & I Yogurt, are my places, however Tutti Frutti… well to put it nicely One of the most disgusting yogurt experiences I have ever had. Quality: Bland, bland, and more bland… Their fruit was all soiled and some were actually browning. Their flavor selection was just horrible, and all tasted like processed chemicals. Sanitation: on top of browning fruit they had a slight ant problem, which prompted me to ask the cashier for a fresh cup in back. I can tell you this, Tutti Frutti, will not be here very long…

Customer service is TERRIBLE. Yogurt is okay, but really compelling reasons to go elsewhere. Staff are either missing or mute. No welcome, no smile, no friendly«hello», which can make a big difference. Do yourself a favor and go to Monster Yogurt.

Briefs: Another self-service yogurt shop. 12 different flavors but it’s just slight variations of two or three unique flavors. Lacks healthy topping options like granola. At 35 cents an ounce, I like the idea that I can control the portions and cost. [Original Visit: January 2, 2010]

This store has several things going against it on my froyo checklist:(1) No NSA flavors(not even strawberry banana).(2) Limited flavor selection(3) Two cup sizes(large or larger)(4) Small ice crystals in some flavors. After sampling the coffee and birthday cake flavors(yum and meh, respectively), I settled on a small squirt of coffee and another of cookies and cream(totaling about 3.5 oz, I really only wanted a snack). The cookies and cream was about average, so the coffee helped elevate it a little. Still, too many negatives(especially the lack of NSA) for me to go higher. There are simply too many alternatives in this space.

Boo! I went in, took a look at the flavors they had, and wanted to walk out. But thought that would be a bit rude, so I gave cheesecake, strawberry n banana, vanilla, and tutti frutti a small try each. They didn’t have many choices to pick from. And the ones I tried were bleh. Disappointment! I thought it interesting they had breakfast food as well as coffee there, but I probably won’t be going back.

I LOVELOVE frozen yogurt so I was excited to see a new spot open near me. Despite the cold, the bf and I wanted to satisfy our sweet craving with something healthy. Their concept is different from others. In addition to fro-yo, they also serve specialty coffee drinks and donuts. Donuts? That’s strange. but ok. I always get the original tart. but theirs tasted like nothing. I opted for the tutti frutti, mango, and passion fruit instead. As I was eating my cup, they all tasted the same. Their toppings are more limited than what I’m used to. They didn’t offer Captain Crunch and that’s one of my faves! Grr. Their fruit was also old and they don’t know how to cut their fruit because I bit into the core of the kiwi. I didn’t read Una’s review until after I paid with a credit card. I wish I did! So I played stalker and watched the register but everyone after me paid in cash. Boo… With so many other options to get frozen yogurt, I’m definitely not going here.

I’ve let the experience stew for over a week now, and when I think about it, it still bothers me. I have been back to Tutti Frutti for yogurt many times now, but the most recent visit left a sour taste in my mouth. After constructing my cup of frozen yogurt and my toppings I was at the register to pay, when the employee asked me «card or cash». I said card and was handing it to her when I saw it flash on the register, .20. Excuse me? Was I just charged a fee to use my debit card? This is totally illegal, both MC and Visa have merchant rules that you can not impose a fee on card purchases. Second, there is no SIGN for this, third she did not verbally tell me.(You could go around this by offering a «discount» on cash purchases) 20 cents won’t break my bank. But its the principle. Especially when you are in a business that is low cost. Either build that into the price of your product, or eat the charge to use cards at your business. I may go back if I have some bills, but my world is run by plastic. Sorry.
