I was lucky to try Saturday wine bar with appetizer’s and breakfast the next day. wonderful place and great atmosphere, the new owners are very lovely and catering to all customers . The Eberly Chardonnay went well with all the different appetizers we tried. :) For breakfast I had eggs Florentine, yum yum . Service was fast and food delicious, dog friendly patio, a huge plus for me, since it gets hot in car, so was able to totally relax. I brought my husband a Roast beef sandwich home, he was amazed at the size… he said :…like in old times when you got these” real sandwiches“ All in all, go check it out try to meet the new owner Susi and Mike.

I have breakfast here 2 – 3 times a month. I have the ojj with every meal all of the time. Today it tasted Sour. The waitress was fine returning it. The lady taking the money said ‘oh he must not be used to fresh. Rude and obviously in informed.

ate here a week or so ago and the food and service were wonderful. came back this past week and the salad was old/droopy/yucky. they took it back and replaced the lettuce with new lettuce… it was warm and yucky. the new owners have been there just a week, so am hoping they’ll get the staff to shape up. the food preparer is the same guy, so we were confused. he made a mistake with every single table’s orders in the room we were in. it was a fiasco. friendly service, but if the food isn’t good, it doesn’t really matter. not going back for a couple of months, hoping they’ll get it together. the new owner is very sweet. she was upset that we didn’t like our food and tried to get the mistake fixed and offered me a refund, but, since i ate the food that was good, i didn’t want to do that, so i paid the bill.

Updated review from 3 years ago. I’ve been a regular(in fact, the current Duke!) at Little Louie’s. Maintaining my 5-star rating on the basis of reliable and friendly service, very meaty cold sandwiches, great options for hot sandwiches and burgers, and yes the very tempting dessert display. I come here at least once a week for lunch, and normally on days where there’s a brutal afternoon workout. My favorite items are: COLDSANDWICHES I choose Dutch Crunch or French Roll and go for the Dr. Doug(meaty, milder flavor) or the Carlos(equally meaty but smokey and saltier from salami!). HOTSANDWICHES Both Raiders and 49er burgers are pretty good size and consistently juicy. Tradeoff is type of cheese and mushrooms vs bacon and avocado. DESSERTS I’m definitely trying to cut down on these — but once in a while those coconut macarons and pecan bars are great to celebrate hump day or heavy workout days. Be sure to pick up their loyalty card — buy 10 sandwiches get 1 free.

A quaint and charming village café. I want to back and try more dishes. I had the French Toast(pictured) and was very happy with the flavor.

Easiest way to review is Pro and Con: Pro: *Great place for meetings between Marin and East Bay(tables too close together for a private conversation) for drinks only *I found parking easy at noon on a weekday, but must move car every two hours. Con: *Sandwiches are so big with bread that is so hard that one can not eat it as a sandwich. Have to pick it apart. *Salad lettuce limp and warm. As were peppers. *In one sitting we watched at least 10 meals delivered wrong, including my friend’s. Over and over we heard, «Oh, you ordered salads?» «You didn’t order the Ruben?» «Excuse me, we placed our order 25 minutes ago!» And on and on. The order process is chaos. *Plates, glasses, etc. were left on tables. *My hamburger was severely overcooked and the bun inedible. And I felt horrible for hours afterward. *New owner(by a week or two) but same staff. Friendly and completely incompetent. Don’t know about breakfast. Meeting venue with beverages is the best you can do.

First time here and very impressed with the quality and quantity of the meat in the sandwiches. I had the Cal Swede and my boyfriend had the Carlos. We will definitely come back! Highly recommend.

Wow. Maybe Sunday is not a good day to come into Little Louie’s. Ultra slow service, over cooked eggs and they ran out of potatoes. Just my worst experience here ever.

Sandwiches are well made and decently priced. I saw a complaint about«hard bread», but a rustic French is supposed to have a hard/crusty outside with a softer inside. My personal favorites are the French Dip, the Fast Eddy, and the 49er Burger. Knock off one star because it seems that every time I order here for a large group either over the phone or by fax, someone’s order gets missed and I have found they never check their fax machine to see if they’ve received an order(consider moving into the 21st century Little Louie’s!).

I came here because I needed to meet some clients. I had a sandwich. The bread was hella hard. The chips and water were great and the sliced deli meat was fresh. The parking during lunch is non-existent. The tables are super close and you can hear all conversations. Not my kind of spot but it has its OK.

Not a very vegetarian-friendly place. No paninis on weekends so your only options are pre-made(frozen) veggie burgers or vegetarian sandwich, which consists of lettuce, tomato, sprouts, and avocado(pretty bland and not very substantial).

I want to like this place because it is so charming and convenient for a breakfast meeting halfway between Marin and Oakland, but I am annoyed every time I’m there. The food is good, which is critical, but the experience is bad. Staff does not come to clear the dirty dishes or drop a check in a timely manner. For that matter, once they drop the food they never come to just check-in and see if everything is good unless you call someone over about an issue. They tend to get the orders mixed up and wrong. I asked three different people about accessing the internet and nobody knew. One young guy had major attitude and basically just stopped short of saying«tough shit». I understand now why it is so popular with the over 65 crowd — they are retired and have nothing better than to while away their day waiting for good service.

We went to Richmond for a class and found this place. There were a bunch of us and no one complained. Everything we had was good. I had a prime rib sandwich and shared with someone plenty. We actually went back again for lunch because it was so good. There are a lot of options.

I love this place. Buy a sandwich for lunch and you get dinner too. They don’t skimp on the meat. They’re respectful, helpful and courteous. I eat there at least once a week, usually twice. Great sandwiches, people and comfortable environment. I’m getting hungry writing this review. Can’t beat it.

Came here on a Saturday morning with my wife and son for breakfast. I had the corned beef hash… they use real corned beef, not the canned stuff. Wife had the Alaska benedict; son had bacon and eggs. Everything was wonderful, our server(the young man with tatts) was friendly and attentive. Only odd thing was the sign saying«Please wait to be seated», only to be told to sit wherever we liked. Great breakfast joint in The Point.

Terrible. years ago this place was delicious, served giant sandwiches. Now they always mess up phone orders, the sandwiches are tiny and cost $ 9 for something worth maybe 2 or 3 $. Ordered a sandwich with au’jus and got a fricking bowl of canned jalapenos instead. way over priced. only reason they get business is because they cater to the refinery because they are the only sandwich deli in the area. I always hope for the better when I get food from here, but am always disappointed with the result.

The sandwiches(hot and cold) are massive and delicious! My husband and I could have easily split the turkey sandwich I got or the nomnom super bomb Raiders Burger he got. The pesto pasta salad was so good! The cookies are huge and amazing… AND the service is awesome, they were so sweet, friendly, super cool, and quick! Just what we needed for a quick lunch in Point Richmond. We will return for brunch, lunch, and maybe some wine in the garden

The food is nice, but I swear the owner is so rude to me. Maybe it’s just me, but other Unilocal reviews have mentioned it also. She seems disinterested with my business. Aside from her, the other employees have been great, and the restaurant is nice and the sandwiches are decent. Though I have to say, the sandwiches are a bit expensive for what they are.

Standard breakfast options. Straightforward. Lunch gets a bit hectic. Order then pay system could work a bit better. Sis and I each ordered the chicken panini … I wanted the eggplant panini but they were out. The panini was delish(big juicy piece of chicken breast) but we both had cut gums after battling with the bread. Appears the bread got really hard after the press so was a bit of a challenge to eat. All in all, a decent place to grab a bite.

Omg this place is good! Super duper good. This is my first time here and when I walked in I knew they had good sandwhiches based on the smell and nice décor. They have a great list of specialty sandwhiches that were all appealing. I ended up going with the Prime Rib sandwhich because I have never saw or had one before. It was very very good and literally a huge steak in a sandwhich. Aldo they give a beef juice dip on the side. It also has horseradish, which I’m a fan of so make sure you are aware of that in case you don’t like horse radish. I also had the macaroni salad that was semi good, like 3.5 stars good. They have a lot of seating and it is a really nice sandwhich shops that I am sure anyone would be happy to visit. This was my first time in Point Richmond and I will come back again just for this awesome secret. 5 star sandwhich!
