I got the pangoa bowl it was so delicious! It truly truly was scrumptious. I was pleasantly surprised. I did not expect it to be this good and this healthy. If I could eat it every day I would. And it was also a generous portion.

There juice was very fresh and delicious(called the«detox.») and it really hit the spot. However, it was over $ 6 and so a bit pricy and the cup was a bit small. Also, the service was only okay since the employee didn’t say more than two words to me but I guess they were a bit tired on their shift, which I don’t blame. This stand seems like the only other food place besides from squeeze inn that serves substantive food in terminal a of the sac airport.

Ordered a banana smoothie and it was average, more like water milk. Not worth almost $ 7.00 bucks. give this place one star because of service. I originally ordered a different smoothie and didn’t like it so I told the Chinese employee if I could change it, with a attitude she replied no and that I shouldn’t have chose that one. I insisted and told her it was my first time so she grabbed the drink and literally threw it standing from the counter towards the trash making it splatter all over the trash can and the floor. I don’t understand her harsh service it just makes it harder for her because she’s going to have to clean it all up later. I still said thank you and acted polite despite the fact that she seemed extremely bothered by making another drink. I’ve been to many different restaurants/café’s in airports and when I order something and have a problem with Ive never encountered someone giving me a hard time or attitude. I believe if a business offers something and you don’t like it they should have the outermost respect and comfort to make the customer happy. Don’t forget we make your paychecks. Hope owner or if she was the owner really takes this under consideration.

I got the«fresh» juice that was taken out of the fridge in a plastic cup. Not sure if it is really fresh. And, the«ninja» wrap seemed like it was filled with vegetables from a bag from the supermarket. The wrap was a large tortilla. I was hoping for lavash, pita, or something more interesting. I would prefer«Chipotle“‘s freshness over this place. Also, the wrap wasn’t really filled with much, but the wrap fell readily apart very quickly. Very disappointed with lack of pride, quality, and freshness.

It is 5am in the airport. Lots of stuff isn’t open and there’s little to do and/or eat. There are few options available to me to actually get something to tide myself over on the plane ride and not scarf down some random bag of peanuts, crackers, or what have you. I don’t drink coffee and some random baked good is just never good for me despite the sweet overtones that I’d enjoy for the moment. But there is a place next door that seems to have healthier options as well as vegetarian stuff I just may enjoy. I’ve got an hour to kill, why not? In retrospect, limited options doesn’t mean I should just go with what I have available as an option. Patience is a virtue, but at 5am boredom and hunger rears it’s ugly head in a fierce way when you’re stuck at an airport. So! I got the spinach, mushroom, and egg pocket transformed into a burrito. The size I expected since it’s airport food. For 7.55 after tax, this thing was something more of an appetizer than anything else despite the upgrade in size. The original pocket size was a dollar less for half the portion, so I kinda had to up size this tiny meal as much as I could. Inside the burrito was spinach, egg, goat cheese, bell peppers, and mushrooms. So I’m not sure what the flavor profile they were going for with this exactly or how the idea of it came together prior to it gracing my presence. Normally I’d like most of this stuff together but the goat cheese strewn through the burrito made it taste funny overall. I had read in a few other reviews that things were dry meat wise. This definitely wasn’t dry but by no means did it taste very good. I think the use of feta in this case would’ve provided a much better component flavor wise. Goat cheese is just too demure and it’s sweetness gets masked by the red bell peppers so it just ended up making for an occassionally gummy bite. Plus with the cooked veggies there won’t be a need to make up for dryness in it. I mean this wasn’t terrible but it wasn’t exactly good either. I suppose I should just chalk it up to being airport food and all, and to some degree I can’t be picky at 5 am but honestly there should be some type of standard. Vegetarian options outside of the generic salad are limited fare as it is but if you’re going to do it, aim higher I say.

I should have substituted for some quinoa. But I didn’t. And so my Pangoa bowl was dried up with rice. I couldn’t taste the texture of corn or the nutty of my cheese or. well. Much anything at all actually. All I tasted was rice. I added chicken for some protein and that was fine. Hmmm. Admittedly I was totally deceived by the eye-popping colors of this dish that I forgot the serious carb layer that just takes over the whole bowl. Learn a lesson from me. Get the quinoa and get less of it than you think you really need.

This was a good choice for lunch at the airport. The food is good, prepared quickly and not too expensive. There is free wifi and ample seating. The crew on duty was friendly and efficient.

As a business traveler I can say that there aren’t a lot of healthy options in most airports. This place hits the mark. Lots of options with healthy soups, burritos, and bowls. And any can be made with quinoa or kale. Add chicken, tofu, fish to most things for an extra protein punch. I happen to like the Tex-Mex bowl with chicken. Happy to have a healthy option in the Sacramento airport!

Ordered Buddha satay bowl. Hot noodles, topped with fresh veggies like shredded carrots, broccoli, cabbage, spring onions and peanut sauce. The taste was fresh and decent though the peanut sauce was very watery and was kind of spilling out of the togo box. Very filling. Friendly staff. Very Much better than other choices at the smf airport.

Not many food options in Terminal A at 5am. Freshii was the only vendor open and ready(unless it’s baked goods from the coffee vendor … with a really long line). Chicken egg cheese grilled breakfast burrito wrapped tight in a whole wheat tortilla. Entire burrito was extremely dry. The chicken seemed to suck the moisture from my mouth. Just a hint of pico de gallo(pretry much just chopped tomato). As a grilled burrito, I’d expect the contents to be in the warmer side of cool. Pretty gross for $ 7.55 Not good. Overpriced airport food. A high 2 stars because my expectations were low coming into this gig.

It’s airport food! What else can I say? But at least it’s healthy, prepared quickly and served with a smile at least at this location. I had the warrior bowl with chicken and it was very good and it was served up to me in less than five minutes. If you’re in an airport and see one of these franchises I would say give it a try.

Despite this being a popular national chain, I’m surprised that my first time eating at one was late on a Wednesday in the Sacramento Airport. locations outside of airports may have more appeal, so it was hard to be enthusiastic about what I ate here. The options were health-centric, which isn’t a bad thing at all, but the ingredient combinations were a little strange. I chose a Southwestern burrito with chicken since it most closely resembled a typical burrito I would get elsewhere and I’m not about to start experimenting. For double the cost of outside an airport and half the desirable presentation, I got a decent burrito that was heavy on the rice and beans. The flavors were all there, it just wasn’t anything to go ape about. I do appreciate them being the only food venue open at that hour. The employees were poliute but clearly wanted to get out of there.

This place is ridiculous! The service if crappy, the lady was rude and has no smile. I tried to be friendly with her and smile so that she could see that and do better but it totally sucked!!! The food is ok, I guess considering that I was looking for something healthy. After ordering a lemongrass soup to go, they made me pay for a plastic bag, I asked if she could help fill my water bottle up they charge for water, I asked for both a fork and a spoon since the soup had noodles in it too — they CHARGE for extra utensils!!! All I can say is that this place has the worst service. At the end of it I politely paid for those items and walked off holding my breath so as to not blow up cos of such ridiculous catering rules.

I came to the airport thinking that I wouldn’t find a healthy meal option, but I’m so glad that I did! I got the Pangoa bowl and it was delicious. I wish I took a picture because it was nicely sectioned out and looked as good as it tasted. The lady who took my order was very nice and she was helpful in helping me decide on what to order. I wish that I didn’t have to buy a plane ticket to eat here haha

I meandered over here when the Peets line was too long. Mistake. Their coffee is awful. I did find out that their food is pretty good and it became my usual Terminal A stop.

Chose the market salad with falafel. Very fresh and filling with great flavors and delicious creamy dressing on the side. Dad got the chicken teriyaki rice bowl, which he couldn’t finish and said was tasty. Would love to see a store in the LA South Bay!

I got a mint pineapple smoothie. It’s a little heavy on the yogurt but a nice option to most airport junk food. It’s a little pricy at $ 6 for the Jamba equivalent of a small. But I’m thankful for the option of quality non-fried food.

We were hungry and there didn’t seem to be a lot of options in this part of the airport. I’d never heard of Freshii before and didn’t know it was a chain. I ordered the Spicy Thai burrito with low expectations, just wanting something to fill me up. But it was actually pretty tasty, filled with quinoa, assorted veggies, and my choice of «meat» which was falafel. My only complaint was they put too much of the sauce or dressing so that I ended up having to scrape some of the filling out. But I liked the flavors and the portion was more than enough. Too bad their Orange County location closed. The closest location to me is in Northridge which is too out of the way. But if I’m in this airport again, I would come back.

What a reFRESHIng addition to the limited selection of eateries at SAC. Was starving when I arrived and did not feel like the fried fare at Sac Sports Bar … Luckily, I stumbled upon Freshii right before! So many options to customize and they offer a wide array of healthy-ish options like salads, bowls, burritos, soups and more! I selected the Bangoy? Bowl and subbed in quinoa and added chicken. Everything was a nice cozy warm temperature… The tomatoes and cheese were a crisp cool. I got the Asian sesame on the side instead of the spicy BBQBECAUSE I AM A WHIMPASAURUS. AND it was so filling! I ate tons and am saving half to eat later on the flight. Looking forward to getting my pre-flight meals from Freshii for now on and trying some additional menu options!

Freshii is a fresh ingredient type burritos, shakes, etc type place in Terminal A of the Sacramento airport. I frequently take the 5:20am flight to DFW, and there was never anywhere open for breakfast. Until now. While the other shops keep their security doors half closed while their weary-eyed employees do the zombie walk inside, the folks at Freshii are cranking out coffee and breakfast burritos. I had the chicken, egg, and cheese breakfast burrito with aged cheddar and it was very good. I will definitely be returning.
