We have the most amazing view from our room! Our room has a hot tub on the balcony and it has great privacy. The room is picturesque, like out of a fairytale. The bathrooms are HUGE and so nice. Big bathtubs, double sinks and big towels. Worth the price to stay somewhere very nice.

Short story: due to a family emergency my family needed to rebook hotels 4 days before they were scheduled to stay at Harvest Inn. Heartlessly ignoring the severity of the family emergency (ongoing emergency room stay with 24 hour monitoring), Harvest Inn decided to hoard the security deposit, refusing to return the deposit citing their «ironclad» 7 day cancellation policy. The weather in Napa is warm, but the people at Harvest Inn are decidedly cold.

My stepfather and mother were originally booked to stay here Monday 2/​15/​16-​Thurs 2÷18÷16. They live in Chicago and were coming up mainly for 2 reasons:
1) To experience the wonderful hospitality and weather of Napa (and some wine)
2) To visit my grandfather who lives in East Bay in a family reunion
Part 1 looked promising as Harvest Inn has fantastic reviews and testimonials
Unfortunately yesterday (2÷11÷16) my grandfather fell down, blacked out and was rushed to the ICU where it was determined that he suffered internal bleeding in his brain — tests are still being run and his condition remains day-​to-​day. Head injuries are tricky.
WIthin 24 hrs a romantic Napa trip combined with a cross-​country family reunion instantly changed into a frantic trip consisting of worry and emergency bedside monitoring.
Understandably, my family will instead be spending time at the hospital the entire week instead of Napa.
My mother attempted to cancel the stay with Harvest Inn who was insistent that they have a 7 day cancellation policy. Even after explaining the situation and speaking to a manager, Harvest Inn dismissed the claim while continually repeating the refrain «we have a 7 day cancellation policy, sorry».
Harvest Inn INSISTED ON RETAINING THE DEPOSIT. Again, Harvest Inn REFUSED to return the deposit.
My mother explained to me that she felt there was even a subtle feeling conveyed by the manager’s tone that she was fabricating a story to dodge the deposit.
I understand the need and wisdom for cancellation policies — they protect hotels/​inns best interests and allow them to protect a profit against people that cancel last minute callously or have booked several simultaneous hotels. This isn’t the situation here. My family was excited about their stay and had ever intention of honoring the reservation. Unexpected family tragedy (is there any other kind) has forced our hand 4 days before our scheduled stay and Harvest Inn is choosing to ignore a human element at the cost of profit. We are happy to supply a copy of the hospital bill to Harvest Inn as proof of my story.
Instead, my family is losing their Harvest Inn deposit and was forced to book a last minute hotel in East Bay near the hospital.
I’m sure the stay would have been wonderful, and the pictures of the property are admittedly beautiful, but clearly the human empathy element is missing here.
There are many picturesque places to stay in Napa: many of them offer delicious food and wonderful customer service.
All of them would be a better place to spend your money than at Harvest Inn.

Fine. Totally average. Rooms are above a motel but nowhere near a truly luxurious hotel. This is a $ 115 a night hotel charging twice that.
Breakfast was embarrassing. I love CP steak houses and this breakfast of super market OJ from concentrate and frozen bagels is beneath the name. The prepared food in the kitchen is solid but the rest was more appropriate at Best Western.
I am not expecting the Ritz or Four Seasons but CP can do so much better.

I stayed here for my first trip to Napa. OMG! I love this place. it’s location is perfect for visiting all of the vineyards in the area, CIA & restaurants. Love all of the art & could tell, when spring hits, the grounds would be very lush.
Our room had a fireplace & was HUGE!!! The pictures you see are not done with special angles. They are large. Upon entering our room, the aroma of burnt wood greeted us. Instantly, you felt calm & welcomed. There was a half bottle of wine with two glasses. Couldn’t think of a better way to start off the weekend. We kicked back in the cushy chairs with a glass of wine to gather ourselves.
The bathroom was great. A double sink. This was great. You didn’t feel like you were on top of one another & could get ready in a timely manner.
I highly recommend you eat at the hotel restaurant. I normally wouldn’t do this, but let’s just say, you MUST. I’ll have a review there too.
The staff was very helpful. With this being my first time, I came across a couple of hiccups. The staff helped me out & make our trip very memorable.

**** for the grounds and room. * for the front desk staff. We arrived for checkin and went to the reception area where it was clear that we were bothering someone doing something much more important than checking us in. No eye contact, smile or greeting as I stood there (my wife and I were the only people in the lobby) so after standing two feet in front of Miranda for a minute I interjected that we wanted to checkin. She called someone over who seemed to be headed to lunch (fast food bag and soda in hand) to take care of us. After the bare minimum of vocalization «I need you ID and credit card» we had our room keys. No information about the resort, the town of St Helena, questions about our plans or wine tasting preferences, no pleasantries at all. We had planned to have dinner at the hotel later that night but after the checkin experience we decided not to risk it.

I definitely wouldn’t pay full price to stay during the busy months. Front desk area is … not customer service oriented. Room is great. Service is rude. Waited about 10 minutes to be acknowledged by reception. When I asked for a spa menu I was told that they didn’t have one because the spa is off-​site. So no spa? There were a couple other issues as well but it’s not worth my time to type it. It’s just a mess.

My husband and I had a great time at Harvest Inn. The rooms are comfortable, the property is beautiful and the complimentary breakfast is great! We unfortunately didn’t get to eat at the restaurant for dinner but hear its very good! We stayed in the fountain room which was a very comfortable night’s sleep. and the big bathtub was a huge plus! I would definitely come back next time I’m in Napa.

When we walked into our room it smelled like really bad breathe from all night of snoring after drinking. Seriously there was a smell walking in to the room I’ve never experienced for $ 260 a night.
Furniture is beat up and sheets smelled really bad. An upscale motel 6 is about where I rank the quality of the room we stayed in.
Grounds are nice and location is good, that’s where the second star comes in on this rating.

Part of this hotel has been renovated and parts are still very old. We were disappointed that they made us wait to check in past 4pm. Then we ordered room service that never showed up and they called us at 11pm to check if we received it after we went to bed which woke my children up. There were cobwebs on the ceiling of our room as well. Yuck.
The room did have a fireplace and gave us a complimentary bottle of wine which was a plus.
After we ate lunch at the restaurant the next day and waited over an hour for our food we decided to mention it to the manager who didn’t seem to really care. The food was pretty good and the staff was nice, but just not accommodating.
This place can’t compete with the many other hotels in town that are focused on high quality service. Sad!

The room is okay, but customer service lacking. I asked about shuttle service when I booked, for specific evenings. But now not on the list for our first night. Get it in writing …

I recently photographed a wedding here the end of September 2015 and the amount of open space, access to vineyards, artwork, and ambient light for the evening made it one of my fav places to shoot in my 6 years of photographing professionally.
The Ceremony was held in the Courtyard area (where the fountain is) while the Cocktail Hour was held in the larger lawn adjacent to the Courtyard. Shade for the candids/​formals during Cocktail Hour — photographers you know whats up ;) and pretty backdrops for the Ceremony. Admittedly, the lighting for the Ceremony (4P) was tough to deal with facing the Groom — light was too harsh and casted shadows on his face — but the light on the Bride with her back towards the sun was lovely… and if you are going to have good light on someone it better be the Bride!
The overhead Christmas lights, the candlelight used as a border, the light posts located around the Courtyard, and even the fountain, all allow creative imagery to be captured. Some venues the vineyard requires a bit of a walk to get to… this is a huge plus that it is just in front of you 0 with pretty wide lanes so the BG don’t bang into the grapes.
One of my favorite photos I’ve ever taken for dancing was taken here (see photos 210 – 211 — I couldn’t decide which I liked more).
On an aside, the staff here is excellent… in particular Antoinette! She was helping organize the wedding… She went out of her way to ask about food restrictions/​preferences for the vendor meal (which was one of the better meals I’ve had at a wedding) and then again reminding busy me that the food was waiting for me upstairs! For most people this is not significant but for wedding vendors being treated as nicely as wedding guests it is unfortunately a little more rare than we would like to sometimes… photographers you know whats up ;)

When visiting the beautiful Napa, you must stay at this enchanting hotel.
The hotel is surrounded within a secret garden on the winery. As I walked through the property I felt as though I was in a fairytale. Each corner you will discover a beautiful statue, pond, lush greenery or the king jewel, the vineyard.
Our room was on the first level and it is larger than our city apartment! The view, ohh the view, was beyond beautiful. As I sat in our private jacuzzi on the patio, YES PRIVATE JACUZZI, I gazed at the winery. I thought to myself, I could get used to the Napa life as were only a couple of steps from winery.
We can’t wait to come back! cheers!

I had just opened my very own Unilocal account because I wanted to start it with a wonderful review about Harvest Inn and our two days spent in Napa Valley.
But this particular one is about our stay at this wonderful hotel.
I have no idea how there are negative reviews about this place. I couldn’t be more happy! From the second we pulled in to our check-​in stand, till the second we left.
When people say the hot tub or the pool are gross… well, there are just leaves on the ground that fall from the beautiful trees on the property and get in the pools ad well. It’s called ‘nature’.
Complimentary breakfast was DELICIOUS. With a lot to choose from.
Property is GORGEOUS. Staff is FRIENDLY and I didn’t see a single face that didn’t smile at us. Even the breakfast cooks!
I left so happy and can not wait to come back.
The only thing was is that our check out time was at noon. But room service started knocking on our door at 10am, we said ‘no, thank you.’ Then they knocked two more times in the next hour… so we felt like we need to leave and we were out of there by 11:30.
But other than that… fabulous! Please give this place a try!

My fiancé and I visited The Harvest Inn last week and were delightfully surprised by how much we loved our stay there. Such a beautiful property!
First off, check in was a breeze, as the staff welcomes you when you pull up your car to the entrance. Keoki was the valet who helped us with our bags and got us settled into the room. His warm demeanor and friendly attitude helped us feel right at home.
But what’s even better than a friendly welcome? A free upgrade to a nicer room! We were thrilled to be surprised by a beautiful suite and felt like royalty.
I could never forget to mention the woman who made our stay magical and who was there for us even before our arrival and after we checked out. Antionette Garcia is a gem and a valuable asset to Harvest Inn. It’s because of her service and kindness we have not only decided to block out hotel rooms at Harvest Inn for our wedding, but will also be using the venue as our «Meet & Greet» the day before the wedding. Antionette gives customer service a whole new meaning as she was available to us for our every need. We can’t say enough times how grateful we are that Antionette was a part of our Napa experience. She was always ready with great recommendations and answered every question immediately.
I could go on, I haven’t even mentioned the restaurant: the Harvest Table– wow! Just wow! So yummy and excellent service.
I wish I could give Harvest Inn more than 5 stars– we are life long customers and will be telling everyone we know how great this place is. We can’t wait to come back for our wedding.

My fiancé and I drove up the coast, camped in Big Sur then made our way up to Napa Valley. We did quite a bit of research before booking a hotel and everything about the Harvest Inn lived up to expectations.
Property
The Harvest Inn is in a great location of St Helena and I highly recommend it if you are trying to do wine tasting in the surrounding area. We were so close to many of the wineries and traveled no more than 15 minutes to any we wanted to visit. The two pools are on the smaller side but we never saw more than 1 other couple while we were there… they have towels and a fridge full of water bottles which was convenient.
Room
We booked a fountain king room, the patio faced the fountain. the patio was a little odd but we when we were at the hotel, we were sleeping, at the pool, walking around or at the restaurant so it didn’t matter much to us. The bed was pillow-​top so if you don’t like soft beds you may want to see if they offer any other rooms with more firm beds. The bathroom was very spacious and modernized. The fridge was stocked daily with water and juice. It was a nice surprise to come back every evening to the bedside lights on, a water bottle on each night stand and ice in the ice bucket, a great touch by the hotel. This room also had a fireplace with a timer which was another good touch.
Restaurant/​Food
We ate every morning at the hotel, the complementary breakfast was more than enough and everything tasted fresh. It was setup where you seat and serve yourself. They had orange and apple juice, infused water, Starbucks coffee, and tea options. As for food they had fresh pastries, English muffins, bagels, and bread along with all the condiments you could want… fresh peanut butter, cream cheese, butter, blackberry and strawberry perseveres. They also had fruit and cereal. What was also a nice touch was you go back into the kitchen where they were prepping for lunch/​dinner and they had eggs, potatoes, sausage, and oatmeal, with the appropriate toppings for oatmeal. You could order champagne and bloody Mary’s from the staff if you wished. All in all breakfast hit the spot.
We didn’t eat here for lunch.
For dinner we tried the Harvest Table our second night there after eating at Farmstead the night prior, which we highly recommend. After a full day of wine tasting and hearing that the Harvest Table was one of the top spots to eat dinner, along with Farmstead, we gave it a try. Service was on point. The food was fresh. For appetizer my fiancé ordered the shrimp and grits which he thought was okay but too greasy and only had 2 pieces of shrimp. I had the tomato and watermelon salad which was refreshing. For entrees my fiancé ordered the gnocchi which was actually really good and perfect portion size. I had the burger and fries which was also good, I would compare it to an upscale in and out burger. As for dessert we had the cheesecake… the peaches on top were perfectly ripe and the cheesecake was much smaller than you would normally assume a piece of cheesecake to be… maybe an inch wide and 5 – 6 inches long, give or take.
Overall as for the restaurant, breakfast was awesome; dinner we preferred Farmstead over Harvest Table.
We would definitely stay at this hotel again!

Loved! From our first contact w Lisa on the phone, the experience was wonderful. She is a true concierge… in the way one is meant to be. She handled my reservation, answered all questions, and truly wanted to know what I was looking for in our ‘girl-​getaway’. She choose us a great room… the building looked like something out of an English fairytale! We were adjacent to the adult pool – where we spent most of the day after wine tasting. Quiet, serene, clean. Chatted with other guests. Our room was spacious, and had a separate sitting area with a couch and fireplace. Bed was comfy! Bathroom big and roomy and for two women, that’s key! Breakfast was nice too – lovely deck, good coffee, lox and bagels, fresh juices and cooked eggs served right in the working kitchen – a cool touch. Overall a wonderful experience! Thank you Lisa and the Harvest Inn!

This place is cute, quaint, clean, and a great deal. The location is perfect in the middle of the valley. We loved the curbside check-​in and having breakfast with a view of the Vineyard. Our room was nice, but not huge. The bathroom had a large shower and everything was updated. I prefer staying here over a bed and breakfast simply because you can find some down time by the pool if you’d like. I’d have no hesitation to book here again.

We’re back! And I must admit this time round was just as amazing as the last!
The Harvest Inn offered a really good deal last a Cyber Monday — 30% off room rates in February and March and I couldn’t resist another trip to Napa so we snapped it up and booked a weekend getaway for right now!
This time round we found ourselves in the rose garden district which is a little older but just as gorgeous and comfortable! Our room even had a real fireplace and a couple of overstuffed leather couches for relaxing and watching the fire with a glass of wine (or two).
Beautiful grounds, perfectly located and amazingly comfortable rooms at a decent price (by that I mean expensive rooms but decently priced as far as Napa goes). I don’t think we’ll ever stay anywhere else!

We love traveling with our pups! Harvest Inn is everything we hoped for!
We stayed at one of the rooms in the Manor. Let’s just say it has an AMAZING view with an outdoor jacuzzi overlooking the vineyard. They even provided a doggie bed and bowls to welcome our pups. Our stay came with complimentary wine tasting and breakfast. The breakfast was delicious and the quiche was a must. If you would like, you could request for a complimentary room service as well. We really enjoyed the property, it’s very well maintained. The room was very spacious and clean. Did I mention it comes with a real fireplace? We stopped by a nearby grocery store and had homemade s’mores at night.
Although it’s on the pricey side, it’s all well-​worth it. We can’t ask for a better place to spend a relaxing weekend. Can’t wait to come back again!

Here are the highlights:
The grounds are great to explore, take a walk in the back to check out the grapes.
The room has a fireplace and a beautiful bathroom, very large (we actually put our sons crib in there so we could have privacy after he went to bed), the bathroom even includes bath salts and don’t forget about your robes in the closet!
The breakfast is included and has a view of the property, I think I also read it’s just $ 4 extra to have your breakfast delivered.
The staff is very friendly and always around (passing by on golf carts, etc)
Complimentary bottle of wine, it is small but it’s COMPLIMENTARY
It has a small fridge which we appreciated which is also stocked with a few complimentary drinks.
I liked this place because it had a lot of elements included, it was a convenient location (we actually walked to the small town with shops close by) and we got a great price on Priceline.
