They do a terrible job on the cleaning! When I say no starch, I mean NOSTARCH! C’mon this is not rocket science. They’re rude as hell, too. I won’t go into any more detail. Long ‘n’ short… Time to close. Yes. Please go out of business. You’re service is pitiful, and yes, uhhh huhhh, mmm hmmm, oh yeah, bye!

I hate leaving negative reviews. I usually go with a «my bad experience is probably just an off day, so I won’t bother», but this was so terrible I feel like I have to warn others. This is the very worst customer experience I’ve ever had, whether we’re talking about dry cleaners, stores, restaurants; heck, I’ve been in DMVs and gotten better service. I dropped my clothes off one sunny monday, excited that there was a cute little dry cleaner just a block or so away from my apartment. I spend about ten minutes with the gentleman behind the counter discussing the nature of my clothing(I run a restaurant, so my blazers can get a little grimy), and the details of the repair work I’d like done(I had a pair of khakis that had a rip along a seam). I drop off the clothes and get two pink tickets. A week later I drop by to pick up my clothes on the way to work. I grab the bag without checking it(huge mistake) and write a check for $ 40(as the place doesn’t accept plastic) to pay for my two tickets. Once I make it to work, I open up the bag excited to wear my favorite black blazer after a week without it. Immediately, I realize«This isn’t clean. Like, at all.» I brought the jacket inside and inspected it, noticing the bits of food still on it, and fur from my cat that somehow wasn’t removed during their(most assuredly very extensive and detailed) cleaning process. In fact, the only way I could tell that they’d done something to my clothes other than putting them into plastic bags is the large burns on the back that hadn’t been there before. I was going to write this off as a learning experience and simply never have any business with Erlich’s again, but I realized that they hadn’t given me several of my items. I called the cleaner to learn that they did in fact have my clothing, and that I could pick it up anytime. There was no «sorry we didn’t give you all your stuff» or anything. I get back to Erlich’s to pick up my last two items and end this hellish ordeal. After spending ten minutes digging through the entire store to find my items, he presents me with a bill for an additional $ 16. I ask why, as I already paid for my items when I picked up everything else. He counters with«we have two tickets for these two items, so you didn’t pay for them.» Let’s not forget that I paid for the two tickets which we originally wrote up when I dropped the stuff off. These two new tickets came from God-Knows-Where. At this point, I lose my cool. I go out to my car and bring back my be3loved black jacket, and point out the cat hair, food crusts, and new burns, asking the man(I believe he’s the owner) why I should pay twice for a job I really shouldn’t pay for once. His response: «Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.» That’s right, they are. My opinion is this: If you want to pay more than fifty dollars to ruin five items of your clothing, visit Erlich’s. If you want quality dry cleaning, try someplace else and let me know if you find a good place; I’m in need.

I was so incredibly disappointed by Erlich’s. They ruined a jacket I took in – literally tore the seams on both of the jacket’s arms and center back seam. The reviews here are pretty spot-on: if you want your stuff ruined, go to Erlich’s. The worst part is that I really wanted to like this business, since they are so convenient to my workplace, but they provide terrible service. My other stuff was also in pretty poor shape, too.

If I could they would not get any stars from me! I’ve tried to work with this place and support a black business but, I took my suits there and get them back and they smelled like someone’s basement. None of the clothes I’ve taken there smells like its been dry cleaned. What are they doing, using spot removal and calling it a day… lol. I recommend Global Cleaners on Tucker Ave.

Hey there, Unilocalsters. I recently brought a pair of shoes to Erlich’s for repair. Erlich’s took 3 weeks to replace the heals. The new heals look good but 3 weeks of waiting is definitely a no return for me!

Don’t plan on going there unless u plan on having your stuff messed up! I just got back my stuff and two shirts are missing buttons and they damaged some other buttons! I try to support as many local businesses as I can but I defiantly dont plan on supporting these guys at all!

I went here 4 – 5 years ago for some alterations. They did a terrible job and I ended up ultimately donating the clothes because the hems were so haphazard. Also, the workers smoked. The whole idea of smoking inside a dry cleaning establishment seems wrong on so many levels. I love to patronize older, established local businesses, especially those downtown within walking range, but this was a bad experience. Granted, it was a few years back, but still relevant.
