New York & Company is one of huge best places to get professional attire that I know of. They are not like a department store that sells a bunch of different brands and I have to try on a million pairs of pants to figure out what brand and style fits me best. That is THE BEST thing about this store– I know exactly what size I am and it always fits. They have the NY&C sizes that are consistently made with quality. Also, they include different lengths of pants, which is great for my short stature, so I don’t have to get everything hemmed.
The shirts are great too — flattering patterns and plenty of solids to chooses from for button down professional shirts. And there are sometimes styles that have double the amount of buttons so I don’t always have to be afraid of someone at work seeing into my shirt from the side.
Jewelry is great here. They have lots of options in various colors and you can usually wait until they have a deal going on and they will still have what you want. And I have used one of their perfumes for a few months now and it’s gotten me quite a few compliments. I generally don’t like the style of their casual clothes but they are a smaller portion of their store footprint. The only thing I genuinely lament about their clothes is that most of the dresses are too long for me, but they’re mostly cute and professional, so I wish they offered a shorter version.
Other than that, I have nothing bad to say. I’m a proud platinum card holder and I take advantage of the rewards they offer, and consistently visit to see what new things they have in stock.
