We are the premier event coordinators on the Monterey Peninsula, as well as San Benito and Santa Clara Counties and have been creating one-​of-​a-​kind celebrations for hundreds of happy couples for over 15 years.

History

Established in 1999.

We have been creating special celebrations for over twelve years on the Monterey Peninsula and in the surrounding areas.

Trained and certified by the Association of Bridal Consultants, we earned the designation of Professional Bridal Consultant and have continued to grow through our involvement and memberships in ISES, BAWN, WIPA and AFWPI — all leaders in the wedding industry.

We hold ourselves to the highest level of professionalism and integrity and are referred by many of the premier venues and wedding vendors in the areas we serve.

We believe in the TEAM concept and dedicate ourselves to working with the needs of each of our Brides/​Grooms/​Families in a caring, humorous and organized manner in order to bring their dreams to reality.

It’s an honor to do what you love and were born to do on a daily basis. Patty Speirs has been planning events, including school, non-​profit/​fundraisers and corporate, most of her life. It was was after her successful career with the corporate world of planning that she decided to concentrate on her niche and passion of working with couples and families to create their ideal wedding celebration.

Trained by the Association of Bridal Consultants & graduated their program with honors, Patty was honored to apprentice under Master Wedding Consultant™ Gwen Helbush of Where to Start Events, LLC in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Although Patty received her certification of Professional Bridal Consultant from the ABC, she continues to learn all she can about the industry so she can best serve her clients.

Patty is invloved with such prestigious associations as ISES, BAWN, WIPA, AFWPI as well as numerous non-​profits.

Patty is AMAZING!!! Best wedding planner ever! I found Patty from a Google search because I knew that I was going to need help pulling everything together come day of. After seeing her website and how thorough and detailed it was I knew I wanted to set up a phone consultation. Patty got back to my inquiry immediately and we had a phone call the next evening! After talking with her I knew I wanted her to be our coordinator! Just talking with her she brought up so many things that I hadn’t even thought about and also money saving ideas. She was so detailed I just loved it!
I chose the day of services, which she came
on two months in advance. I can’t say enough how awesome Patty is, she responds so quickly to all of my emails, had great suggestions, also how to repurpose things come day of so we didn’t have to rent so many things. (Saving money. Yes please!!!). Patty was so on top of things and got into communication right away with all the vendors and took care of any communication so I didn’t have to! This saved me a lot of time and also stress. Patty helped us pull off the dream wedding we had envisioned! It was a FUN, stress-​free day! I didn’t have to worry about anything which was so amazing!
Her detailed day of timeline was just amazing and went so smoothly. She went above and beyond, I can’t say thank you enough. Seriously if you are looking for a wedding planner do not hesitate. Robert and I got married on July 4, 2015, and what a day it was! Just the idea of the 4th conjures up images of celebrations, and without Patty Speirs and her team of minions at ELD Weddings, we could not have done half of what we wanted. She coordinated a 15-​piece Civil War Brass Band, a two-​craft bi-​plane flyover, antiques, flags, flower bowls, boxed lunches, and a zillion DIY details into an event that we have heard was the «best wedding ever!» Our detailed, root beer flavored vision of history/​wedding was brought to life in a memorable way, and I am so glad we had her. Patty and her team did a fantastic job helping me coordinate my wedding from across the country. My husband and I had moved from the Bay Area a year ago, but needed help finding vendors and doing all of the behind the scenes stuff. Patty did such a great job with finding vendors for me to choose from, negotiating with them, and letting me know her honest opinion of who to work with. I felt completely confident in her suggestions and guidance. That confidence was validated when all of her coordinated vendors were flawless the day of the wedding.
Patty e-​mailed checklists throughout the year to make sure I was on track with what needed to be done. The details that went into these check lists were so helpful and really eliminated any margin for error. The month before the wedding Patty created a detailed timeline that melted the stress right off of my shoulders. Everything possible was accounted for. Passing this timeline along to everyone helped deter people from asking, «what time is this at?» This is just one example of Patty’s thoroughness and there are plenty more of them as well.
The day of the wedding, I was lucky enough to have Patty and her team set everything up, run the show, and break everything down. THIS IS A BRIDE’S DREAM! Not once did I worry about the cigar bar, the memorial table, the escort card table, the guest book sign in, etc. I knew everything would turn out perfect and it did. It didn’t end there. After the wedding everything was packed back up and waiting in my room since we departed the next day. I had an e-​mail by the time I woke up explaining where everything was and details of what I needed.
I couldn’t have asked for a less stressful planning processes and wedding month!

I was extremely pleased with Patty, who was polite and responsive all along the way, while still getting things done and making them happen exactly as directed and more. My daughter hired Patty after selecting the venue because we could not do long distance planning effectively. We needed someone who could get through to our other local vendors and make sure they did their job. Patty’s knowledge of the venue’s quirks, potential issues, and especially the special needs of those less mobile made my daughter’s wedding run like a dream. We could actually relax and attend our event. She thought of details we had neglected or forgotten. I felt truly lucky to have found her.

Patty was such a huge help for our wedding. I am completely type-​A and wanted everything to be exactly the way I pictured it. Not only did Patty and her team meet my expectations but she went above and beyond.
When I was getting ready for the wedding, my sister came into the room in tears. Patty and her team had just set up the memory table for the family members that had passed away. It was beyond beautiful and incredibly meaningful to my husband and my family.
During dinner, the heat lamps we rented didn’t work and Patty and her team raided our venue to find blankets to hand out to our guests. My husband and I were worried the cold would ruin the night but the guests said that having all the blankets brought all the guests together.
Lastly, one of our ring-​bearers was my terrier, Teddy. When left alone, he can be quite a barker and I was concerned that our guests would hear him. With Patty’s VIP (Very Important Pet) service, Teddy and my parents’ dog had an assigned attendant and were happy and quiet throughout the evening. They also fed them and walked them.
I was not stressed out at all during the wedding day, which I think is HUGE for a bride. I was completely confident in Patty and her team to have the wedding completed without any issues.

We hired Patty as our day-​of coordinator and she and her team were everything we hoped for and way more. We hired a lot of our vendors based on Patty’s recommendations and all of them were absolutely fabulous. Patty responded extremely promptly to countless emails from me in the month before the wedding and was 100% on top of everything. She thought of so many details that we would never have considered. The day of the wedding, we had multiple crazy components to the wedding and Patty and her team helped the day run so unbelievably smoothly. We couldn’t be more happy that we hired her. Patty was our wedding coordinator and event planner. Her and the ELD staff are really amazing and Patty’s knowledge of the monterey bay area vendors and her relationships with people in the wedding business were absolutely vital to making our wedding work!
We are from the SF bay area and our wedding was in Monterey on March 2 and was a destination for the majority of our guests. We invited over 300 individuals with about 170 at the wedding in total. Given our heritages we had two separate ceremonies (Hindu and Christian) in one day and a large reception. This required an incredible amount of attention to detail with planning down to the minute in order to pull off two ceremonies, a cocktail hour, and a large reception! Despite the incredible amount of coordinating this took, Patty and her staff rose to the challenge with such amazing talent, confidence, skill, and knowledge that everything went PERFECTLY! She was there for us literally every step of the way from helping us pick out invitations, to flowers, to the DJ, to the photo booth. Not only did she provide us with choices and options, she put together the contracts, provided us with day by day reminders for deadlines and when payments were due, and was in touch with everyone on our behalves. Her efforts took a huge burden off our shoulders. She’s not there to make decisions for you, but instead provides you with options based on your preferences, allowing you to focus on making decisions.
Thanks to Patty’s efforts, our day was more than perfect, and we were able to achieve everything we dreamed. On top of that, she is an amazing person with lots of energy and grace, with an immense amount of connections which passed on to us discounted rates. In addition, she truly loves her job, and it shows and made the process of planning a wedding enjoyable and fun! I don’t know what we would have done without her, and HIGHLY recommend her to anyone planning a wedding looking for an affordable amazing wedding planner!

If you’ve ever been to an Indian wedding you know that it’s complete chaos, but that’s half the fun :) I would pull my hair out trying to organize one. Indian celebratory chaos was no problem for Every Last Detail. Patty and her wonderful team managed to make our traditional Indian wedding at Holman Ranch extremely well organized without removing the fun. The chaos was still there, but only in good ways. With so many high quality planners in the Monterey Bay Area, here is a brief list of why Every Last Detail is a great choice:
1. Patty is a go-​getter! She really got me moving on the wedding planning. Even before I hired her she was pro-​active about getting me to make decisions. That’s not to say that she was pushy. She just knows how quickly 6 months can go by.
2. She knows exactly which vendors to recommend. Basically every vendor that she recommended was an A+. Super-​easy to work with, qualified and responsible. The vendors that did a less the stellar job were the ones she gently nudged us not to go with. Now I wish we had listened, and that she had been a little less gentle in her nudging.
3. She knows the in’s and out’s of non-​traditional weddings. She knew all the lingo of the Indian wedding: baraat, mandap, ganesh puja, even the pithi! I was pleasantly surprised by this when we met the first time.
4. She is willing to give recommendations that work within your budget. She never pushed anything if we indicated that we were price sensitive. If we indicated that we were trying to save money on a particular element of the wedding, she suggested ways to do it without compromising on quality or aesthetics.
5. She threw more resources at our wedding than other planners indicated that they would. This is the main reason we decided to go with Patty. While similar planners in the area were charging about 95% of what Patty was charging, they were offering less than 95% of what Patty offered. For a wedding of 250 people, she brought 3 associates to help manage on the day of, assured us that we would be the only wedding that she was managing that weekend, and took the organization over starting 2 months before the wedding (we went with the «day-​of» coordination package).
All in all, our wedding day was amazing and I was able to enjoy it because of Patty and her team. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Every Last Detail!

A review of Patty Spiers and her Every Last Detail (ELD) team. My daughter got married on 3 Mar 2013. A double wedding ceremony in two locations Monterey and CArmel. Being Doctors in San Fran wiith busy and hectic schedules the coordination was very heavy, and we all relied on Patty to take care of every detail, and she did superbly. It required doubling up of all arrangements for both ceremonies. (Hindu and Western). I’m a retired Army Officer, with guests all over the US. Grooms family is out of State while our family is in the SF Bay Area and a coordination nightmare! Patty got it done without a hitch, she never complained, and we could always count on her.
A huge plus, Patty Spiers has a wonderful personality, very cheerful, positive, upbeat and just full of vivacious energy that immediately puts everyone at ease. She is EXTREMELY organized, very conscientious and not afraid to be candid when needed. Being a Military Officer, I like directness, organization, and meeting scheduled timelines. She is that and more. She knows when to be soft, when to be directive, and when to just listen and let the bride and groom make the decisions and work things out.
An example of her team’s professionalism; the Indian ceremony was on the outside lawn. Her team ensured that all goose droppings were picked up, they attended to it personally, as well as making sure the outside patio was immaculate. Just a small but very important example of getting it done. This leaves everyone comfortable and confidant that Patty will «Take Care of It». It Takes all stress off of having to worry about minor and big details, for the bride and groom, and parents and wedding party.
On prices, Patty recommended and got us great vendors, her connections produced significant discounts. The money she saved us paid for Patty and a big discount for being Military!
The end result; the wedding (s) were beautiful, perfect in almost every way. Both families were extremely pleased with how everything went, looked, and turned out.
I can’t say enough great things about Patty Spiers and her (ELD) Wedding planning team. From a Army Colonel, with demanding standards, she performs exceptional, produces results, and gets the job Done! Everyone couldn’t be happier, especially my daughter and her new husband!

Patty is awesome! We hired Patty as our day-​of event coordinator for our wedding in October 2012. I am a type A personality and had all of the venders/​DIY projects figured out, but needed someone to make my vision a reality, and Patty and Every Last Detail made sure that our day went smoothly.
From the beginning I felt like she gave me as much attention as a bride whose whole wedding she was planning. I didn’t feel like she gave me the shaft at all for only having her do the day-​of instead of planning the entire event; she spent over an hour on the phone with me on our first call and gave me all sorts of helpful tips before I even hired her! At the time we lived in San Jose and were planning our wedding at Holman Ranch in Carmel Valley, so getting to the area to meet was hard, but she accommodated our schedules, and even met with us 3 times on site to do a walk through. On the day of our wedding, everything went off without a hitch and Patty took care of everything from the timeline, to the vender coordination, and even made sure that all of my crazy DIY decorations were in the right place. I want to thank Every Last Detail for making our wedding a day that we will always remember as being «the best day ever».

I just had my wedding this past Saturday 06÷02÷12. We booked Patty from ELD for the day of wedding coordination and it was one of the best decisions we made during the wedding planning process. Patty and her assistant took care of EVERYTHING. (There is not enough space to write all that she did for us, just trust me when I say EVERYTHING). The day went by smoothly and I’m sure it was because they were working fervently behind the scenes. We had some minor confusion with the bridal party entrance and Patty was right there fixing the problem. My husband and I spent our day enjoying our guests, family and the reception instead of worrying about everything else. I have worked with Patty on a professional level and her service is fantastic. She communicated literally ‘every last detail’ prior to the wedding which I very much appreciated. While wedding planning was a very exciting time for me and my husband, there were so many details involved in the process– we needed help!
Patty and Every Last Detail helped us every step of the way during our wedding planning. Patty was wonderful! There were so many details she helped us with (little things that a new bride and groom wouldn’t think to ask about/​consider). She helped us find great vendors as well, including our late-​in-​game videographer addition!
Since we were planning our Monterey wedding from San Jose, it was so helpful to have someone that knew our venues and all of our vendors. She was always just a phone call or email away, and always quick to respond.
The day of our wedding, Patty and Irma kept everything (and everyone!) on time. Patty had sent out timelines to everyone involved so we all knew where we were supposed to be. If there was an issue, she took care of it immediately. She was even thoughtful enough to pack color-​coordinated pashminas and gave my mom one when she got a bit too chilly!
Our wedding exceeded all of our expectations, and much of this is a credit to Patty and Every Last Detail!

I recently got married at Berwick Park in Pacific Grove with the reception at the old whaling station in Monterey and can’t imagine how my day would’ve gone off with out the help of Patty and ELD. Patty is extremely organized and pays incredibly close attention to detail. Before the wedding she did everything from contacting all the vendors, making a timeline and recommend great vendors (no kick-​backs, just trusted industry advice).
She organized the rehearsal and even had nametags for everyone which was a nice touch and on the day of she was able to incorporate all my DIY personalized touches to make my day special on top of take care of everything behind the scenes from chasing off a second bride who was confused as to which park she was getting married, to using a pooper scooper at the ceremony location to rid it of the goose droppings, getting an extremely tardy maid of honor in her dress, to straightening the aisle runner and cleaning up and putting all our personalized touches in my hotel room during the reception and talking to the police after a noise complaint! I highly recommend her and her team, if you actually want to enjoy your wedding day stress free!

Getting Patty as our wedding planner was one of the best things that we did for our wedding. Four months before our wedding, we requested Patty’s day of wedding services. We had completed most of the arrangements for the wedding, but there were still a few more things that we had to put together. My fiancé and I at the time were also out of the country in school so I needed someone that would be tech savvy and keep me connected to Monterey. Also, unlike other wedding planners in the area she would respond to emails at a lighting speed. Patty was so on top of everything and had wonderful contacts with other Monterey vendors. When I finally got back to the states she spent a day with me going to all my wedding locations, meeting with my florist (CC creations — Cynthia Fones) and organizing the details of the décor with my party rental vendor (Illusions of Grandeur). It was her lively and spunky attitude that made no task undoable. She even created the schedule for the flow of the wedding day.
The day of the wedding I was so relaxed because I knew that both Patty and her assistant would be taking care of all the setup and organization. They did a beautiful job and worked well with both our families. Although there were a few mishaps, like having to call in favors to get my acrylic nails fixed and pinning up my wedding dress when someone ripped my under garments. There was no task they could not overcome. Patty always had a solution to every problem. Everything was completely seamless and I cannot express my thanks to both Patty and her assistant for everything they did for my husband and me!!! If you are a bride and you are wavering on the idea of getting a wedding planner, just do it! Because it is seriously worth everything to just sit back and enjoy the day with your new husband!
