Noah Dehlinger DDS

Dr Dehlinger and his staff are wonderful, his office is filled with beautiful paintings and views, his care is painless, he is amazingly thoughtful and attentive. The hygienists and staff all extremely competent and some very funny too.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Dehlinger since he opened his practice and I’m completely happy with all the procedures that have taken place. He attempts to save my multiple gold crowns (in place for forty years or so) and they seem to be maintaining wonderfully. He is very skillful with a gentle attentive manner that instills confidence and comfort. His equipment seems to be top of the line. His staff is very friendly and helpful and Dr. Dehlinger’s office has a very professional atmosphere.

Gene is not my real name, but I am a real patient of Noah’s for nearly 10 years. I say that because Noah will probably read this and think, «Who the heck is Gene?»
That said, I have lived in Marin all my life, I have had five dentists, and Noah is far and away the best. In addition to the excellent cleanings by his staff, I have had several old cracked metal fillings replaced with composite. I have also had two or three crowns done. Everything has always been fast, painless, and perfect. I do not tolerate pain well at all, and everything Noah does is painless. I have been recommending friends and family to him for years. Even the view of the redwoods from his chairs is great. Above all, I’ve never felt like just another patient, or worse, a meal ticket — which is not something I can say about certain dentists practicing in other parts of Marin (who shall remain nameless and without their hands in my mouth).

I don’t usually take the time to write comments on Unilocal but I had to for Noah Dehlinger and his entire staff. I am always greeted with friendly hellos. My kids actually like going to the dentist because they are so gentle and do such a great job. I no longer work near San Anselmo nor do my kids go to school in that area, but I wouldn’t think about changing dentists no matter the drive.

More than 3 years ago I started a 12 implant full mouth restoration with him. He did not disclosed that I was his very first patient with 12 implant restoration neither he disclosed that is was the first time in his life to use titanium frames for the prosthesis. The whole project was catastrophic and he is still on denial. He damaged both mandible and maxillary branches of the Trigeminal which cause the worse pain that human can handle known as «suicide pain». He offered me gradually $ 10k, $ 20k and $ 30k to get rid of me. When I was in my worse pain ever and after removing the first implant he send me a letter to revoke his treatment along with a $ 30k check which I did not accept. As of today I am in worse condition than I was 3 years ago, I am in the process of removing all implants at Kaiser, let my gums, jaws and nerves to relax and then I decide what to do next. I don’t want him to do to other patients what he did to me, he caused me the worse pain of my life that started year and a half ago after he decided to change the traditional gold frames with titanium ones that never tried before, so he used me as a «guinea pig». Such a shame that he gave an oath to Hippocrates the Greek Father of Medicine.

Having had a terrible dentist throughout my childhood as well as a couple of unnecessarily painful adult dentist experiences, I’m an odontophobe of the first order, and thus extremely picky when choosing a dental practice. I recently moved to Marin, and I’m delighted to have found Noah Dehlinger. He is everything I was hoping for in my new dentist: gentle, meticulous, unhurried, genuinely caring. He recently replaced a crown for me, and I had no pain whatsoever, even later that evening– a testament to his combination of dexterity and care about patient comfort. He also has the latest equipment, which speaks to his commitment to his patients’ oral health. Every member of the office team is professional and personable, making it a very congenial office environment. I’m not one who would expect to write fan letters about dentists, but Noah is truly exceptional. He’s the perfect blend of professional dedication, clear intelligence, and genuine kindness.

Good dentist, nice staff, great hygienists. Down side is sometimes the office feels too busy and rushed, slower, more thoughtful care could be achieved by slowing it down.

Best dentist I’ve ever been to. Hands down. These people make me never want to live anywhere else but here, just so they can be the ones to work on my pearly whites!

This last week I needed a dentist urgently and they were able to fit me in without any attitude or hassle, in fact they were super concerned and friendly.
The doctor was soft spoken and has the best bedside manner of any dentist I’ve ever seen.
I had to have an old filling replaced and he did it that day. I never felt the needle go in, he was slow and gentle and it was all painless and easy.
Unbelievable.
His staff is friendly and approachable.

Dr. Dehlinger is not only an excellent dentist, he is the most gentle one I have ever been to. If you are looking for quality work that is as pain free as you can get, this is your place. And Peg, the teeth cleaner, does an awesome job. She’ll make your teeth healthy and sparkling, while keeping you laughing.

I went to Dr. Dehlinger after reading these rave reviews right here on Unilocal.Being a nervous wreck about dentists for many years, and having had my share of crowns, cracked teeth, always a cavity as a kid, you can imagine I pored over each review carefully, looking for my kin. ;)
Well…I’m SO glad I went. Simply walking into that office put me at ease. It’s bright, beautiful and welcoming. The staff are all very pleasant and nice.
Dr. Dehlinger has a calming, kind and genuine way about him, was very gentle during the exam. He talked me through my xrays and pointed out a tooth that will likely need work in the next 6 months to a year but he didn’t seem to promote unnecessary stuff that some other dentists seem to do.
When I went back for my cleaning, I met Peg. She had me laughing the entire time. Even while scraping some of the ‘barnacles’ as she called them, off my teeth! Being the nervous ninny that I am, I hadn’t had a cleaning in a while. Several years. Kind of embarrassing but she, too, put me at ease and disarmed me with her great humor. She also gave me some great brushing advice that I’m now using.
Love this place. Going back in six months, like a normal person. I don’t plan to avoid the dentist ever again.

Have been his patient for a few years now and he could change your mind about going to the dentist. He is gifted, nice, concerned and very good at what he does. His staff is uniformly and consistently nice. Everything is cutting edge technology. There are things in the office that look like they come from Holodeck III of the USS Enterprise on Star Trek II, but they work… and are all explained before use. Little details are all covered… like great care to office hygiene, good explanations, an on site lab, and dedication to their craft. Also, real attention to pain both at the office and later.
This is my first review of any doctor or dentist. I know it sounds over complementary, and I usually disregard five stars on anything, but not here. He is as good as it gets.

Dr. Noah Dehlinger was referred to me from friend and I found he and his team to be excellent at what they do. Very friendly and accommodating. I’ve had a tooth extracted, deep root cleaning, and a tooth capped. He does excellent work and there is no pain what-​so-​ever.

Dr Dehlinger is the best dentist I’ve seen in my entire life! (And I have seen several!).
His whole practice is nice; everybody is friendly, professional, etc, etc… BUT the most important is that he has an outstanding knowledge of what he does. He solved I problem I had with a root canal I had for many years, none of the several dentists I visited before (in the span of 10 years) could solve it. He did it.
I highly recommend him.

Picking a Dentist is not so easy. I have been a patient of a Dr. Issac lynn down in Santa Clara for seven years. The reason I stuck with him was because I trusted him. He earned that trust by being consistent and honest with me. So when I asked him who would be the best dentist to see near my new town of Fairfax, he called me up enthusiastically and said Noah Dehlinger «you gotta check him out». And so I did.
He was right! Dr. Dehlinger and his staff are great! I felt right at home with the hygienist Peg and Dr. Dehlinger. I felt well taken care of and was given a thorough inspection to which Dr. Dehlinger found that I had some pattern grinding on my teeth that my previous dentist never caught! The prices are reasonable and most importantly I feel like I can trust him. I would recommend his service to anyone.

I was referred to Dr Dehlinger by two separate people, and he’s wonderful, as are his two hygienists. I generally don’t have many dental issues, but I did have two very old fillings that needed to be replaced. As the other reviewers have indicated, Dr Dehlinger was very focused on my level of comfort during the procedure. I felt virtually no pain with either the shots, or the replacement of the fillings. I just sat there listening to my iPod and, before I knew it, we were done.
I’m equally impressed with Peg, Dr Dehlinger’s hygienist. She had a wonderful, non-​guilt-​ridden way of encouraging me to kick my dental hygiene up a notch. She’s a bit chatty, which at times is tough since it’s hard to chat with one of those suction tubes in your mouth. But I appreciated the distraction as she got my gums in shape after 3 years of not having had a cleaning.
The front office team is also very courteous, and there was absolutely no wait for any of my appointments. I hopeful that doesn’t change as Dr. Dehlinger’s practice grows (which I’m sure it will given all these great reviews!).
I feel very lucky to have found a such a fantastic dentist and hygienist.

I’m a teacher (read: dental insurance but not a lot of money) who has always had major problems with my teeth – they are missing, misshapen, came in in the wrong places, you name it. Braces, surgery, veneers when I was younger and a host of other problems, most of them deemed «cosmetic» by insurance companies (I’m not sure how molars are «cosmetic,» but apparently chewing your food on both sides is really asking a lot!) This year, it was finally time to replace a lot of the hardware and get going on the implants I will need to even out my chompers and give me a beautiful smile. To say the least, this was stressful.
I was referred to Dr. Dehlinger after several visits with other dentists, and I cannot recommend him more highly. He and his lovely staff provided an outlined treatment plan for my whole mouth with itemized descriptions and costs, we prioritized my treatment, and they are helping me make the most of my insurance as we address each issue. My teeth look great, and I am no longer in dread of my dental visits. The office is cheery, Dr. Dehlinger is so personable and kind, and his assistants also do a phenomenal job. I have had several dentists but will switch no more – if you are looking for truly good people doing truly excellent work, don’t hesitate to put yourself in their care!
