Flight to Mexico was canceled, we needed a place to stay, all hotels were booked due to techbro conference, and we managed to end up in South San Francisco. My boyfriend and I decided on a late-night dinner at Hooters because… well, when in Rome. He’d never been to one before, I told him he didn’t know what he was getting into, and boy was I right! This was an absolute $H!T show. The girls serving are more concerned with dancing the Cha Cha Slide than serving tables and the guys in the kitchen are more concerned with being out of the kitchen talking to the girls. Took us 15 minutes for a waitress to even come to our table. Got our order COMPLETELY wrong the first time. Second time we only got 9 wings instead of 10(which was fine because they were horrible and so was the salad we ordered and we couldn’t stomach another bite anyway). She tried to make us feel dumb like, «Well, do you want me to go get you one from the kitchen?» Um, no, we want you to LEARNHOWTOSERVEBETTER, LISTENBETTER, ANDCOUNTPROPERLY. So awful in every single way… exactly as I expected.

Nothing better than the NBA finals paired with breasts, thighs, and Daytona breaded wings! The girls are young and some are really hot. Beautiful people make the world a better place. I’m a sucker for beer and fried chicken wings so I can never go wrong here.

This review is only for Tayler! She is the only person from this location that my group and I have had excellent service with. We came to watch the Warriors game and she made sure we got everything we ordered. Also, when we ordered some drinks, she politely informed us that the bar was backed up, but she would get our drinks to us asap. Never have I ever had service like that at this Hooters before! Shout out to Tayler for making our Warriors viewing the best!

Stoped off here after a later work night to grab a bite to eat because everyone was closed. Our server Taylor was super and took care of us. Food actually was one of the better prepared from other hooters we’ve been to in the Bay area.

I actually frequent this Hooters(or any other Hooters) more than I ever thought I would in my entire life. I come here to watch dubs games with my boyfriend. The servers are all actually super nice, fast, and attentive(with great butts!). However, one of the hosts who usually works the main front entrance is a little slow. One time we came here for a game and she said she was going to seat us right away. So we followed her and I guess she didn’t realize that we were, because we ended up following her back to the hostess stand. She said she thought we left and gave another couple our table. Lol weird — not sure how she got that impression. The food is not the best so be forewarned! I’ve tried the wings, Cobb salad, and french fries. All were unimpressive and the dressing was watered down. Regardless, I’ve been coming here once or twice weekly for the NBA Playoffs because they have a lot of tv’s and seating if you come at least 30 minutes before the game starts. They also have free WiFi which is a HUGE plus because I can do homework during commercials and half-time. Great for games, good service, not the best food.

Stopped in to see the Giants play and use the wifi. Signature item are the wings. Girls here try hard to provide good service. Don’t understand the low ratings. Food seems ok for a sports bar.

This was my very first time here everrrrr to check out the restaurant’s All-You-Can-Eat Wings on Tuesday nights. My husband sometimes goes with his brother and friends. I finally had a chance tonight to see what all the hype was about these chicken waaannngggsss(besides the sexy servers heehee). My hubby prefers Hooters wings over WingStop and Buffalo Wild Wings. He orders the«naked» and hot flavored wings every time. I wanted to try something different from my hubby and tried the«breaded» Cajun-flavored wings since I was feeling a little Cajun lately. The breaded wings were nothing to rave about, so I ordered the same batch as my hubby(naked and hot). The wings and side of fries come out immediately in like 10 – 15 minutes. I’m assuming the wings are heated in the microwave oven. The naked wings definitely tasted better than the breaded wings. We shall see how the breaded Cajun wings taste tomorrow for my lunch at work as I couldn’t finish eating them. $ 17 for these particular chicken wings is overpriced, especially if they used to be $ 15 all-you-can eat. Hmmm… The servers are very nice and hospitable. At first it was awkward to be served by a scantily clad waitress as I am very conservative… lol. But besides the orange and white walking eye candy of this place, I would definitely return to enjoy a few bottles of Coney Island Hard Root Beer and watch the games with my loved ones. Moreover: my husband and I tried to watch the last 2016NBA season game in which the GS Warriors were aiming for their 73th victory game. It was also Kobe’s final game of his 20 year career, so the place was already completely packed and probably reached its capacity as one of the waitresses informed us the wait was 2 to 3 hours to be seated. We should have gotten there hours earlier to secure a table for ourselves. So beware of arriving right before a big game is scheduled to begin, you probably won’t get to eat on a table. Thank you and cheers.

(Review based on Tuesdays all-you-can-eat only) I’ve been going to this Hooters for 6 years now. I’ve probably been here over 100 times. I usually find myself going on Tuesdays for the all you can eat wings. Back in 2010 it was $ 13 for unlimited wings, but slowly I’ve seen it grow to almost $ 17. I’d be OK with the price raise if the quality of the chicken were to get better, but it’s exactly the same as it was in 2010(about a 7 out of 10) They also used to give as much ranch as you wanted for free but now its a seperate charge! It’s fallen out of my Tuesday go-to rotation and become more of a place I go to for special occasions. I’ve found that the service is different based on the time of day you go. During the earlier shifts and around lunch the service is pretty slow. but at dinner time the service is very fast and on point. All the waitresses, regardless of shift, have been friendly. This place holds a special place in my heart for providing me with chicken wings for the last 6 years. I would have given this place a 4 or 5 star about 5 or 6 years ago. But I have give this place a 3, because it’s gotten more expensive, but hasn’t gotten better.

Went here for the wings and not the hooters. The wings are greasy and they need more buffalo sauce. I did a 50 wing challenge to celebrate Super Bowl 50 but stopped at 20 due to the oily taste. Hooters should serve different flavor wings and offer baked wings. Overall, the service is great but I give it 2 star due to the wings lack of taste.

I just want start this review by saying i’ve been a server for years and i take pride in my service. And before serving I managed a Starbucks, so it takes a lot for me to be impressed with service. I dont frequent hooters that often because I dont really eat their food that much and the times I’ve been in the past(over 2 years ago) the service was good but nothing to Unilocal about. I go in today with a friend and im not expecting much. I really just came in to hang out with my friend. Gezlyn came to our table promptly and asked for our drink orders. She gave us our drink orders promptly and then she spent the time to answer any questions about the menu. She was even personal with my question because the particular wings i had in my mind was her favorite. Im a server. I know when people bs about their«favorite». I knew Gezlyn was being sincere. And i appreciated her honesty. The food came super fast. The service was impecabble. But a weird thing happened. After taking our order, Gezlyn said, «Oh Kaila is actually going to take over your table.» I was little disappointed at first because Gezlyn was giving us such good service. Kaila comes too our table and was soooooooo helpful and attentive to our dining needs. Both Gezlyn and Kaila are equal in their service, but because Kaila seved us for the rest of the night, I really got to chat and get to know her on a human level. She didn’t have to pull up a chair and chat with us. I just really appreciated that. Thanks Kaila. Thanks Jezlyn! Because you took the time away from your section and actually chatted with us too! That means a lot to me because im a waiter. Shout out to Madison taking time away from her section and chatting with us too. Thank you ladies! I will definitely come back for your awesome service… ANDHOSPITALITY! ! !

One star for hospitality, thanks to the«bouncer.» It’s understandable that your busy but NONEEDTOBERUDE!!! The bouncer put his hands on my boyfriend and said«You Ain’t coming in here, we at capacity» A more approachable response could have been«hey man, were at capacity, you can’t come in right now» Won’t be returning simply because the bouncer was rude and there was no need for him to put his hands on my boyfriend.

Not the best TVs out there nor the best hoots at this location, but it’s close by with all your sports needs. It’s not too packed even on nights with UFC fights. Don’t expect empty tables at those times, but it’s unlikely that you won’t be seated at a table where you have to share with a bunch of strangers. If special sports events are on Sundays, they might have a delayed happy hour. Service is on the slower end here, only a few of the girls are actively checking on your table, otherwise have fun flagging your server down. Food is okay, I’m really looking for munchies at this point. Stuff that you should be avoiding on the menu: buffalo shrimp(way too tiny, portion is pretty small, price is almost like your 1 pound frozen shrimp), turkey sandwich(you’ll get 1 slice of deli meat). It’s Hooters, just stick with their wings or chicken something. Avoid their cajun, it just taste like salt overload. Same with their spiciest sauce, that’s just salty and spicy, and you no longer can tell if you want water because it’s too salty or you need it to cool you off. They recently changed their menu to make it more accommodating for health freaks, showing you all of the calories you’ve been consuming for years and now learning how to regret.

I have tried to get some wings here… The last three times, COLD, COLD… The place was almost empty, and I heard the bell from the kitchen ring, and the food came out 15 min later… I guess the girls that work here feel it is more important to catch up than to do their job… If you né d to find a staff member, just look for the table next to the restroom… The table is covered with plates of appetizers and the staff sitting around visiting… I have even seen the managers sitting with the staff, I do not know, but if the management is setting the bar that low, then I guess the workers will do the same… Have some pride in your place…

I went here with a friend on Valentine’s Day just because we were intrigued with the offer that if you shred a picture of your ex, you get ten wings… With a purchase of 10 wings. First of all, I was disappointed because I brought a picture of my ex to shred. I thought they’d have a shredder in the restaurant lol. Second of all, and mainly why I could’ve had a better experience, the customer service was not on point. Our waitress was nice and friendly, but our wings came out after placing the order 20 minutes ago. The restaurant wasn’t packed, and as soon as we tried our wings, the wings were cold. There goes Hooters’ famous wings…

We love Hooters. we have not been here in a few years and we thought we would give it a go before seeing a movie. It took 10 minutes to be greeted by the waitress, granted I was having a good conversation with my boyfriend so I didn’t mind it much… it was a Friday night too so it is busy. Our drinks took an additional 10 minutes. She came back and took our order, our food took forever. an additional 30 minutes(We have now been here for 50 minutes) and it was clear our waitress forgot about us. she came up to us and said«how is your food» looked down and realized we had no food… she came back with COLD plates of wings. so cold that the sauce had already thickened. It took me an additional 10 minutes to find her and flag her down to let her know, and then we also ordered another drink at that time because of how slow the service was. she did not apologize at all. she just took it back and said new ones will be out soon. it only took about 5 minutes for new ones to come out which was great. they were brought to us by another waitress… 20 minutes after the second batch of wings was brought out, and finished, our original waitress came back and I said thank you and we were ready for the check — she said okay I will have your other wings boxed up. I said ma’am, we already got those 20 minutes ago and ate them… It was actually really frustrating. she seemed to be very fast with the bill though! Wow. what a concept. We came here and spent $ 75 for crappy service. The waitress should of addressed the issue as soon as she realized she was having a hard time, she should of asked for help, and also let the manager know we were inconvenienced so that he could take the wings off the bill… Because of this we also had to see a later movie. I didn’t realize that we would be there for almost 2 hours for some drinks and apps… we are a party of 2. no complicated orders. everything straight off the menu — can’t get easier than that. Unless management makes this right, we will not be back.

Man this place is dirty After eating some wings here, I literally had stomach problems for 2 days. The wings look like a good deal, especially the specials on the menu, but if you really try it you’ll know it’s really not worth it. The girls there are pretty good looking. Not bad. And pretty enthusiastic – they did a good job of singing birthday songs when the whole room was eating. Overall, not bad for a Hooters place.

Before going tonight for my birthday I read all the reviews and I was discouraged but I decided I want to go anyway. I had the best time with my best friend… I have no idea what these other people were talking about, but the waitresses were attentive and friendly and the food which I had the crab legs and the oysters and he had some chicken popper dish or something, was great. It was an awesome experience. I had one of the best birthdays I’ve ever had in a long time. Thanks to the San Bruno Hooters. I will not hesitate to go back again and I do not know what the problem is with the people who wrote these stupid poor reviews but I totally disagree. From the moment we walked in we were greeted by someone, shown to a table, and then received excellent service. Again thank you Hooters for a wonderful wonderful birthday… I will go back again

Best night in 12 years as a Cubs fan at the Hooters last night. Cub playoff win. Bench clearing shoving at the game. And an incident with a customer(yes he was a Pirates fan) trying to not pay a $ 6 beer tab because an off duty Hooters waitress was«rude» to him. The manager handled the situation really well. She was very polite the whole time and worked hard to defuse the situation. Even got the customer to pay his tab. Unfortunately for him he would not let it slide and the mall or Hooters security(love the huge hat he wore) and a San Bruno cop had to intervene. Watched a great game on TV and had ring side seat to reality TV drama right next to our table. Oh and the food was good. Loved the fried pickles. Service was good. Eye candy was not up to the usual Hooters talent but the drama and win made up for it.

You may think I’m lying but I really came here for the wings. My buddies came here for the girls, but anyone who knows me knows I’m into long legs(does that mean drumsticks?!?). Everyone has their preference right? And well, the short, stocky women here just aren’t doing it for me, so go ahead and give me your mediocre food. Somehow the women here remind me of Tyrion Lannister from Game of Thrones instead of the tall and beautiful Cersei Lannister. My opinion though. I know, I’m cruel. Or picky. Or both. The wings aren’t that great here. I’m more into Wingstop. My friends had their overly breaded pickles, wings, and of course beer, beer, and more beer. This was their way of decompressing during lunch. Beer and people watching. But me, I was bored… Give me a picture of Lena Headey(Cersei Lannister) any day over the waitresses they had during that lunch shift any day. But, my buddies seemed to enjoy themselves and were flirting with whoever stopped by. 3 stars = okay, and I guess that’s what this place is… just okay.
