When he founded 3 Blind Mice in 2003, Scot Dietz’ vision was to build a company that would establish itself as one of the market leaders in the window covering industry. Today 3 Blind Mice is the realization of that vision. Scot has led his company from a small, self-​funded start up, to a multi-​million window coverings firm. Three Blind Mice employees share in Scot’s dream of providing a quality product at an affordable price. «Customer service, not lip service» is a fundamental belief.

Scot’s business background is diverse. He worked for and managed two multi-​million dollar corporations. However, in 2003 he decided to fulfill his dream of founding his own company. With the increased housing growth in San Diego, he saw an immediate need to provide a service he found lacking when building his own new home.

Scot received his B.S. degree in business administration from Southwest Missouri State University in 1992.
