Alvin O’s Custom Window Tinting

Alvin does amazing work. Quality products; good installation and follow; good prices. I would recommend anyone to use him. I had my Lexus GS450h windows tinted and clear bra added – excellent work on everything. All looks like OEM quality.

When you planning to tint your car — you making some research where is going to be more reasonable price.
You going to call different companies and prices will vary a lot.
When you going to call Alvin — first impression — nope, not going to tint my car there. (And he going to let you know that he is not cheapest).
Don’t make fast decision.
Based on my experience of window tinting on my cars — better service and better quality materials you can not find anywhere.

Very polite gentlemen. He will help you to go through all films that he offering — going to give you right direction which one to choose. How the film applied to your glass — fantastic, like factory tinted.
By the way — film, that Alvin using, provide at least 50% of heat rejection.
So my advice to you, don’t think about the price — go and get your car tinted there, get high quality product that will never fade and offer you not only privacy in your car, it will offer UV protection and heat rejection. (No more turning A/​C to full speed at hot day — car never gets that hot again).

Honestly, Alvin is simply the best. There’s no other word to describe him. From beginning to end Alvin will do everything for you.

Love this shop! Quality work, and I am PICKY!!! They told me they were OCD, and I was like, «yeah, yeah!», but they really are! They do things right. No mistakes, and done right the first time. If you are looking for cheap, this is not place, but then again, if you actually want your car taken care of correctly the first time, cheap is not something you should be looking for, anyway. Wow!!! Alvin’s work is amazing and so he is incredibly friendly. I think Alvin should start a side business coaching other businesses on customer service/​relations.
I got a ticket for tinted windows so I came to him and it took 15 min to take off and $ 45. After I got my ticket signed off I decided to get them back on. Alvin booked me that same week and the second trip was about an hour. Way better then the first place I went that took all day. Definitely recommend this place

I have know Alvin for 10 years he has done my M3 aNd my 330zhp both I have taken back to him for redo. Due the California’s finest CHP. For some reason they don’t like my tinted windows so had to remove the tint get my ticket signed of and before going home Alvin reapplied the tint. A big thanks to him and his staff if your looking for a top quality job Alvin O’s is the place to go he is a little bit more expensive then the others but well worth every penny the work is just that good. After seeing his almost perfect 5 star rating I had to try Alvin O’s shop. Add another 5 star review to his list. I called two days out and he put me as the first appointment of the day. I met him at the shop where he was very open and informative about my options. We decided on the best products for my application and he drove me back to work. He gave me a heads up that afternoon, picked me up from work right on time and took me back to the shop where my car was clean and tinted quite well. I looked up the Unilocal reviews for window tinting and then called Alvin. Wow I was extremely impressed with his knowledge and honesty. I was just tinting the 2 front windows on my whip, but he took a great deal of time to walk me through my options. When I dropped off my car he suggested that I match the back which was a little darker than i had intended to go, and Alvin just said «trust me». did and man it’s tight. Absolutely perfect. He also arranged a ride for me both ways. I am happy to give him this 5 star review.

Not that Alvin needs yet ANOTHER 5 star review but whatever. I have an old Corolla with old tint on the back window. Another nearby shop gave up — said they’d have to scrape it off along with the defroster.
So I took it to Alvin. Guess what? He was able to remove the old tint cleanly and left the defroster lines intact.
I also like that he was personally returning my calls and leaving his cell phone number on the vm.
Basically this guy just does what he says he will and does it well.

Alvin has been in business tinting windows for over 30 years. I took my newly purchased 2015 Mustang GT Premium for tint work and Alvin did a great job! He even drove me to my office in downtown SD so I could get some work done while he did the tint job. He even offered to pick me up after he was done but my coworker already offered to drive me since he lived nearby. When I picked up my car, it was washed and cleaned. The tint came out perfect! Alvin provides great work backed by an excellent warranty and top notch customer service. You don’t stay in business for over 30 years unless you back what you do. Alvin picked me up in his own car to drive me to the shop to get my car. At 10pm at night! Who else on Earth would give this service? No one! Alvin is the only place you need to consider!
