What an awesome experience! They treated us like they care and gave us a great deal on a 2016 t@g max. Would recommend them all day long.

Purchased my cricket sport model from here to go up to Alaska and am really glad I got it from here and not where I was originally planning to. Eric was nice, respectful and struck me as a very trustworthy guy. He was also knowledgeable of all the trailers features and took time to go thru each of them with me to make sure I knew how it ran before taking it + he gave me some good tips on how to protect it from weather damage on my way up. The price was really good as well and it came with loads of extras I would have had to pay an arm and leg for elsewhere. Eric made everything quick & easy and I would definitely buy another trailer from here if I ever needed to. Great experience. A+++

We purchased our Little Guy 5 Wide 3 years ago and have loved it! We are just arriving home after our third long distance trip with our Little Guy. We have covered approximately 14,000 miles!!! We have loved it and get stopped all the time from people wondering what «teardrop» camping is like. We show ours off all the time!
We have had three problems, but let me explain. First, a water leak that was frustrating but turned out to be as simple as making sure the fittings were tightened. We go out on a lot of long trips and with all that movement the fittings need to be checked and tightened, easy fix! Second, the windows leaked, but on one of our cross country trips we stopped at manufacturer in Massillon, OH and they came out to personally fix the windows! Easy fix by tapping the frame!
Third was a big one! The hitch holding our bikes on the trailer failed. The rack came down with the bikes! Upon a call to our dealer in San Diego we were referred to manufacturer in Massillon, OH. We did ask if this had ever happened before to other customers, they said yes it had to a few. Upon our offer of stopping by they said they could fix it for us. A much better design and at NO CHARGE!!! They also asked us for an email stating the cost of the bikes and the rack and after this was submitted we received a check!!! You can’t tell me this isn’t great customer service!!!

I bought a Silver Shadow Little Guy trailer 5×10 max package.
I am based in the bay area and had been looking at buying one of these tear drops for a while. When it came time to buy — I could not find one that fit all the criteria I was looking for — air conditioning, combined sink/​stove and pull out fridge. Speaking to the manufacturer and all the local dealers within a 200 mile radius of the bay area — I got very little response. Most of them had little or no stock and little interest in working with me to get me the make /​model that I wanted in the timeline that I wanted. I understand it is not the highest priced RV on the lot — and many of them had much larger RVs to sell. Getting them to return my call was a challenge — getting them to commit to a delivery date was impossible.
I called Little Guy Trailers San Diego — out of curiosity initially. They had what I wanted, were willing to deliver it cheaply and quickly and were also very willing to answer all my questions. I was buying this sight unseen, so they were very happy to send me as many photos as requested, of every angle so I could be 100% sure that what I would get would be what I was expecting. Mark and his son Scott answered my many calls and emails very quickly and professionally. Mark was very honest, I asked about buying additional features — he had the opportunity to sell me more — and he said very directly — you will not need that and here is why …
I was very surprised by the other reviews on Unilocal.I checked them before I bought. They are not in line with the experience that I had with Mark. I really appreciated their responsiveness and their strong knowledge of the product that they sell. Mark has been a little guy distributor for many years and it shows. Just a really good experience. Mark was a friendly and helpful guy. He wasn’t pushy and helped us find what we were looking for. The Meerkat vehicles were awesome looking but we were looking for an A-​liner vehicle. We negotiated a good price for our trailer. Can’t wait to go on trips and create wonderful memories with my family. This was a one-​stop shop! We highly recommend this place.

I don’t mean to make this review sound like a commerical for Little Guy in San Diego but Today I was supposed to pick up my T@B teardrop trailer and my salesman, Eric had to tell me the trailer that came in wasn’t exactly what I ordered. He contacted Chris at the factory before I arrived and they figured out what had happened and why my trailer didn’t match my order. One of the reasons I bought my T@B, rather than another ultralight trailer was the reputation this company has and how they stand behind their product. Every T@B owner knows and appreciates the quality and workmanship that goes into these little trailers. Today I got to experience what standing behind your product really means. Eric (My Salesman at the San Diego little guy dealer, the ONLY place to buy a T@B in California) quickly worked to solve what could have turned out to be a real «boondoggle» in his words. They don’t treat you like a sale, they treat you like a good friend. Which is what they end up being as they also camp monthly with their customers. If you are thinking of getting a T@B or any of the other teardrops little guy makes, you should do yourself a favor and go talk to Little guy in san diego. They have lots of different types of ultralight trailers and teardrop trailers onsite (although T@B’s are the BEST but I may be biased) and can tell you what you need to know to buy the right one for you. I am so glad I made the 3 hour drive.

Wow, I wished that we would have read these other reviews before we drove down to LITTLE GUY TRAILERS. Our experience was bad as well.
We first went down there to check out their stock. We ended up being interested in an Aliner. The saleman was helpful in the beginning, but then took a call and was not
at all interested in our business… I guess. We walked around waiting for him to
finish the call, then stood near him hoping that he would get off the phone to answer
some questions. After about 15 min. of waiting, we left and decided to take our business eslewhere. Which we did.
We ended up purchasing one in Phoenix. We brought it back to Orange County and
realized that it needed some work under waranty. We called LITTLE GUY TRAILER to inquire about servicing our Aliner. One of our concerns was about one of the roof latches not latching. He told us that you really needed to force the latches to get them
to work at times. Really? That’s not what the salesman told us when we were there
looking at their Aliners, and YOUTUBE shows how simple it is to assemble as well.
So we asked them, «Can we bring it in to have it looked at?» He told us that we should have purchased it from them. He then told us to take it back to Phoenix for
servicing.
I guess that it is good that we walked away from purchasing from them because we
now realize how unprofessional they are. They said on one of their responses to
another person that THEY DON’T NEED THE MONEY. Good thing because reviews
such as this are going to send people elsewhere. Not to mention that they are not
representing the Aliner Company well.

I purchased an Aliner classic from Tom’s Camperland and saved over $ 5400 from what they wanted at little guy trailers. I did drive to AZ from So Cal but it was worth the savings and little guys trailers didn’t get my cash! It was worth the 5 hour drive. All my warranty work has been completed bay another local dealer. Very happy with my purchase and we have 57 days logged on our trailer up and down the CA coast and mountains. Live it!

I love my trailer and these guys, especially Mark. I bought my trailer a couple of years ago and I love it. Camping whenever and wherever is a great feeling. I had a couple of problems at the beginning but that was my fault. Mark was there to assist me immediately. Anytime I had a question or concern, Mark was there to help. They have a great selection of trailers so if you are tired of sleeping on the ground then go try one out!

A friend of mine has been into travel trailers for years. I’ve often envied her as she would roll up to a campsite and crack open a beer before I’ve even unwrapped my tent. Sleeping in comfort has gotten more important to me since I’ve gotten old (er), so eventually, I got a truckbed tent and an inflatable mattress. It worked great, but alas, whenever I wanted to drive into town to get provisions or explore, I had to tear down my tent and basically break camp. What was I to do?
I saw Eric out at Mission Valley Mall showcasing a T@B and a 5-​Wide. The T@B really caught my eye, but I was surprisingly impressed with a Little Guy (LG) trailer. It really stuck in the back of my mind. Months later, I was feeling the call of the wild, but didn’t want to deal with tenting it anymore. I remembered the LG and made my way to the dealership. I saw want I wanted and Eric & company made me a deal. While it was a great deal, I just didn’t want to get a loan and into debt again. It had taken me years to get out of the hole! I was really struggling.
I thought I’d check out to see what was out there for a used LG. Turns out, there was a 4-​Wide being sold within a reasonable distance. And the price… shoot, I had cash on hand for it! The previous owner had done some modifications on it, which was nice, but I needed it to go further. I felt somewhat guilty about going back to Little Guy since it was only just a week before I was working with them to buy a new trailer. This used trailer wasn’t exactly what I wanted, but I figured I could see if owning one of these little trailers was something I could live with. I figured I could, but needed some help.
Enter Little Guy San Diego. Even though I didn’t buy from them, I had them do some modifications, like change the 4-​pin plug to a 7-​blade, allowing to charge the previous owner-​added battery off the towing vehicle. I had them install deadbolt locks, so I could secure myself inside at night. I had them custom install a spare tire holder, so I had something «just in case». And to top it all off (for this month), I will have them install a Stargazer window and customized blinds. After that, I think I’m done until next year. I’m really grateful that they have been so helpful, even though I didn’t buy my trailer from them.
The trailer itself is pretty much everything I could’ve wanted. It’s comfortable, easy to tow, and trouble free. Sure, it’s not the newest and didn’t have all the cool gadgetry I initially wanted. But now, people are envying ME when I roll up and crack open that beer and watch THEM mess with a tent! HA!
I may eventually trade this in and get the 5-​Wide I wanted. Or not. I might have it lifted a bit, put bigger tires on, and weld on a pintle hitch. Then, for the most part, it’ll be able to tackle the offroad & camping I’d like to do. Until then, I’m just going to enjoy getting out of town as many weekends as I can.

We are on a quest to find a Little Guy, the perfect one that would fit our needs to make a fun get away, on the road style. Searching, researching is still going on. We stopped by this location to get a feel of what size would be comfortable for our needs. Oh my, so many too choose from and then there’s the T@B (TAB). Another day… for a T@B shopping. The guys were really helpful and gave useful information, willing to work with us to trail one home. Not just yet… still looking for the right one for the right price. Will update you on our quest.
