Andrew did our pre-​wedding photography and my husband and I are so happy we chose him to capture the hours before we said «I do». He came prepared with multiple cameras and a fantastic attitude. This review is long overdue but Andrew really deserves it. I found him on the list of photographers on the
when I was looking for someone to capture my wedding. He made a great impression on our initial phone conversation so I set up a meeting with him to talk more in depth and get a closer look at his work. I loved the quality and professionalism in his work. In that one meeting, I went over what I was looking for, the style of photography I wanted and showed him a few examples. Fast forward to after the wedding when I received my pictures. I was so incredibly in love with my wedding pictures! The quality was amazing, the colors were rich and vibrant and I loved his style of editing. He exceeded every expectation and his attention to detail was impeccable. I remember him asking many questions during our meeting about what was important to me and he had remembered all of it as this was truly reflected in the images he captured. I highly recommend him to anyone. In fact my cousin recently booked him for her wedding!

Andrew Abouna Photography is AWESOME!!! Andrew is extremely professional, courteous and talented. I first saw Andrew’s work at several of our company events. His shots were candid and real (like reliving the moment from stills).

Andrew captured the most wonderful day as we celebrated the first birthday of our little one.
Just two weeks ahead of the event, when we decided that we had to have a photographer to cover the birthday party, I frantically looked online and found myself hearing that anyone and everyone I reached out to was either booked or quoting crazy prices for an event lasting an hour or two with just about 20 people.
And then I stumbled unto Andrew’s website and saw the umpteen events he has covered. I reached out to him with a lot of reservation, expecting him to say he doesn’t cover such a small event.
Boy, was I surprised!!!
Not only was he extremely polite, he sounded very enthusiastic and encouraging.
When I mentioned I had a limited budget, he worked out a very very reasonable package, with different options to choose from.
Over a few messages, we communicated the expectations, time and other details.
When the big day arrived, Andrew was there, on time.
He is a fabulous guy — he just melted into the crowd, clicked tons of pictures, never in the way of the celebrations with the bulbs flashing and yet when the day was done and some more went by, we received a link to hundreds of pictures for just over an hour of event.
He captured real moments, great shots and I never once had to follow up on anything.
Make sure you let him know what you want, what kind of pictures you are looking for, anything at all because he listens. He is a great guy and I am so glad he was able to cover our event.

Andrew photographed my La Jolla wedding in July. He did amazing work and I am very happy with all the images I received. I don’t particularly like being photographed but Andrew made me feel very comfortable. I loved that I got to keep a disc of all the images and that he provided a large image of our choice, now sitting on our mantle!

I had the pleasure of working with Andrew when we contacted him to photograph our Navy Medical Service Corps birthday ball. He was very professional during the whole process leading up to our event with prompt responses answering any questions that I had. Andrew is absolutely the best photographer in SoCal! He responded to my inquiry right away and worked with us to get the perfect package for our budget. He photographed our wedding at Sunset Cliffs and despite the fact that a storm blew in DURING the ceremony, he managed to capture some stunning photos. He’s also in great shape and easily traversed in and out of the cliffs to nail some amazing shots. Andrew is an amazing photographer! He exceeded all of our expectations. From our first meeting, we knew that Andrew would work hard to create photos of exactly what we wanted. Andrew took both our engagement and wedding photos. He gave us great ideas in terms of photo backgrounds, angles, and poses. He also gave us great ideas in terms of what to purchase. He created an wedding guestbook out of our engagement photos, and really cued us in as to which wedding photos we should choose to frame, etc. Our wedding was at the Sycuan Golf Resort, and the venue has gone so far as to use our wedding photos on their website and Facebook pages. They were also impressed with his work. We were thrilled with his work. Thank you Andrew!

Andrew photographed our wedding in October of last year. My husband and I were very happy with the photographs. Not only is Andrew very professional and talented, but he is also open to your ideas and suggestions. I had previously researched various poses and shots that I liked, especially on Pinterest and he was able and willing to recreate them.
As my husband and I were searching for a photographer, we became very discouraged with such high prices. Andrew has very reasonable price packages that won’t break the wedding bank.
On such as important day you want to be able to trust all of the vendors. Your photographer is a vital part of the big day. Andrew instantly gives you that trust and sense of comfort. Without a doubt, ‘Andrew Abouna Photography’ exceeded my every expectation with the amount of time and effort that was put forth in capturing our private ‘Wedding Proposal’. My (soon to be) fiancé and I were driving in from Arizona to have a fun filled weekend on Coronado Island. I was also planning to pop the Big Question on the the Beach (at Sunset) and have Andrew capture the entire moment without her knowing. That being said, Andrew went the extra mile that day and was able to capture us walking from the hotel, all the way down to the beach, the moment I went to one knee, and (most importantly) capturing her expression when I asked for her hand in marriage. Andrew absolutely nailed it and he did it without ever being noticed – he was a photographic Ninja! Very highly recommend this artist! He shot our wedding and even against less than pleasant weather conditions he captured it so beautifully. The prices for his wedding package is amazing. I would say in all of my research on wedding photographers his prices were the most competitive and his artwork the most captivating. Some other vendors I contacted quoted me prices in the thousands and were not as easy to schedule a consultation with. Andrew met us near our home at our convenience and was incredibly amenable to everything we suggested.
Take away: Take my advice in that I have already done the wedding photographer research for you. You won’t get a better price and you wont get a better person to work with.

Seriously wouldn’t go anywhere else for photography! Andrew is one of the best photographers I have EVER had a chance to work with! He is incredibly friendly and his work is absolutely beyond amazing!!! He did my graduation for Columbia College and then did a family/​proposal/​engagement shoot for us! We had an absolute blast! He’s extremely professional, but casual and personable when we did the family shoot!

Where do I even begin… Andrew was absolutely AMAZING to work with! From beginning to end, he was great! My husband and I hired Andrew to be our photographer for our wedding. We initially hired him because his prices were very reasonable, and he came HIGHLY recommended on every review site we saw him on. Now we know why! Before we even officially hired him, he was willing to meet up with us to show us his portfolio, and give us some options. Vendors willingness to meet up is surprisingly rare these days, so this was a huge bonus. Most people want to do a skype interview, or just email. Andrew was willing to go above and beyond. After we hired him, he kept in contact with us, and we hired him over a year before our wedding, so this was a lot of communication! He replied to emails immediately, and never left us wondering if we were «still on,» like some other vendors did. He was absolutely reliable, and made us feel «secure» with our decision to hire him.
When our wedding day came, he was right on time, and got to work immediately! I do NOT feel comfortable in front of a camera, but Andrew has a certain kindness and humor to him that made me feel like I could be myself around him, and relax. He had great suggestions for unique photos, and was willing to cater to some unusual requests. We asked if he would be willing to bring his equipment into a crowded bar in order to take some «fun» post-​wedding photos, and of course, he was. Andrew is so sweet. He is really more than just a photographer… He is like a «therapist» too, haha :) he was there during some of my «stressed» moments, and he was able to calm me down, and continue on with the photo shoot. He even remembered some key photos that I wanted taken, that I had forgotten about as the night went on. He reminded me, and helped to «round everyone up» to make them happen. I really loved working with him, and I would HIGHLY recommend hiring him. If I ever need a photographer again, I will DEFINITELY give Andrew a call. He won’t let you down. He is a true pleasure to work with. You won’t regret hiring him :)

Andrew photographed my family pictures on the beach. My experience w Andrew was way above and beyond what I had excepted from a professional photographer. Andrew was very accommodating through out the whole process. I was very pleased with his artistic creativity and his ability to capture so many natural poses. My family never felt watched or uncomfortable during the photo shoot.
