I attended Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, where I received a BA degree. I also holds an advanced degree, Charter Life Underwriter from Bryn Mawr College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. I am a member of the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU) along with National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) and The International Disability Insurance Society (IDIS). I am the 2014 VP of Legislation and Past President of the San Diego Association of Health Underwriter (SDAHU), Past President of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) of San Diego. Past President of the International Disability Insurance Society (IDIS).
