Best Impressions Mobile Detail

I always hesitate to write anything negative about a small business, but I need to be honest…
I bought a gift certificate for my wife for Christmas — $ 110 for the Gold Package. I also added a $ 20 tip to the charge.
When I called to order the gift certificate, I mentioned that there was a large stain on the hood from a bird dropping. This happened when the car was brand-​new and freshly waxed. We parked at the Zoo Safari Park and some large bird did a huge splotch on the hood. I was told that they could try clay and polish to get it out.
When the guy (I believe it was Jared) arrived to do the detail, he told my wife «I don’t make any money on these gift certificates.» What? I paid the list price in advance. I assume he meant that it was a cash flow issue for him — maybe he’d already spent the money (since I ordered about 6 weeks in advance). If you already spent the money, not my problem. You certainly made money on the job; you were just paid in advance.
When she pointed out the stain on the hood, despite what he told me over the phone, he said «It won’t come out» and didn’t even try to remove it.
Finally, when he was done he stood there, as if expecting a tip. My wife told him that I said the tip had been included in the purchase. It seemed like he didn’t believe her, so she had to call me to verify the amount of the tip.
The actual detailing was fine, and the car looked good. The experience, however, was kind of disappointing.

Exceptional service!
I urgently needed a smelly mess cleaned. I spent over an hour looking through Unilocal and saw all these 5 star reviews so emailed for a quote. The reviews were didn’t lie. Jared responded to my inquiry within minutes. He squeezed me in the very next morning. He was very professional and thorough. He got my carpets in great condition and at a very reasonable price. I will definitely use his services again.

Jared is awesome! He comes to my work and washes my car on the premises. He has been washing my car for almost a year and I have never had any complaints. No streaks or spots ever! Even if I don’t want it washed, he will vacuum the inside and never complains.

With two toddlers and very limited time available I was looking in Unilocal to find a mobile detailer to come to the house. Jared had an opening and arrived on time. Jared detailed my car after a camping trip I took with my husband and his 2 boys. I read the reviews and set up an appointment. Best decision ever! Jared did a really great job cleaning up my 2000 Chevy Impala. I was hesitant to pay for detailing at first because I was just trying to sell the car as quickly as possible due to a sudden move out of the country. Jared’s work quickly and completely erased any doubts, however.
To start, he is extremely communicative, responsive, and accommodating. He booked me for the Friday morning following my initial inquiry the Thursday night prior. He came to my workplace with everything he needed in tow, and let me know when he was on his way so I was able to keep working and not worry about/​wonder when I needed to be down in the parking lot. It really doesn’t get any easier than that for the customer.
When he got there his demeanor was really friendly and professional. He helped me decide which package to go with — Diamond Detail — and then just did his thing for the next couple of hours (my car was pretty dirty!). When I came down to see the big reveal, WOW it looked good!
The interior smelled great after the carpet shampoo and leather dressing (it was verging on stinky before, I bought it used from someone who had clearly been a smoker, and even after my best attempts and a few years of airing it out, it was never as nice as when Jared finished). The nooks and crannies had all clearly been meticulously vacuumed, wiped and polished.
The clay bar treatment on the exterior seriously helped with some scrapes and dings. There was a large and obvious black mark from where someone had sideswiped me in the back, and that was completely gone! Of course a dent can’t physically be fixed with detail washing, but taking care of those marks seriously made it almost disappear.
The car looked so good when it was done that I didn’t want to sell it! Though the service wasn’t cheap, the price was fair and I’m certain that it added at least 2x the value if not more to the car. With an older car I really wanted to let buyers know that it had been well cared for and maintained inside and out. I also appreciated how adamant Jared was that he guarantees all of his work, and that he would fix anything I wasn’t happy with that I might find in the next days for free. I didn’t have to take him up on that though because it was spotless. I sold the car in under 3 days following the detailing to a buyer who specifically commented on how great it looked.

This review is way overdue. Jared detailed my car a few months ago. I concur with every other review that you see about Jared’s professionalism and quality of work.
After months of nagging from my wife to get my eco-​car (Prius) cleaned, I called Jared one afternoon and he showed up the next morning, earlier than he said he could start.
My main concern was that my rear seats were so dirty, accumulating spilled drinks, ice cream, and food stains for 5 years that I was considering buying a cover to hide them. Jared deep-​cleaned and shampooed the rear seats and voila, almost all of the stains were gone. Even the carpets were spotless again.
He took his time and even gave me recommendations on how to clean some areas myself, if I ever took the time to do it.
Overall, Jared is a very nice, honest, and authentic guy that does his detail work very well.

I bought a pre-​owned Ridgeline which was treated hard by the family with 2 kids and looks like hasn’t been cleaning for the last 5 years!!!
