Bill photographed our wedding, and did a phenomenal job. He is so easy to work with, promptly responds to emails, and was very attentive to our vision. He also wasn’t pushy or trying to get us to add on extra items, which we appreciated. Since we were planning our wedding from out of town, it was important for us to have someone as attentive and professional as Bill. The day of, he made sure everyone was keeping to our timeline and was extremely thorough. The pictures are absolutely stunning! Everyone that has seen them has been blown away. He was also very quick to send us all of our pictures after the wedding, which was a bonus.
We couldn’t be happier with choosing Bill Rice as our wedding photographer. He truly helped make our day unforgettable.

Bill was such a great photographer & very easy/​fun to work with! He had a great vibe & fun energy! Everyone loved him & he was very good at quickly & efficiently getting the right shots without boring the wedding party or abruptly pulling us out for evening photos! We loved having Bill photograph our wedding (in fact, all of our guests loved him!). Bill was referred to us through Abbey Catering and we couldn’t have been happier. Not only was he very reliable and punctual, but he is SO knowledgeable and knew all the best spots for photos. Also, he’s very quick to share event photos… we were able to see a handful of teaser photos within 36 hours of the wedding, and the rest came within 10 days. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a photographer.

We used Bill Rice for our LaJolla wedding in August and his work was exceptional. He came highly recommended by our wedding venue, Abbey Catering and the Cuvier Club, and he did not disappoint. He had a very laid back approach, which quickly calmed our nervous bride and groom, but that did not take away from his skills and expertise. Bill came as a recommendation from a friend. We have taken our family pictures with him now for the last 3 years. I can’t imagine having anyone else there to capture these moments but him. With two small kids, he’s always got something up his sleeve to get their attention. Some of the best pictures of my kids were taken by Bill. I highly recommend him for all of your life events.

We LOVED having Bill as our wedding photographer! He is extremely talented and fun to work with! Bill captured all of our big moments beautifully without interrupting the natural flow of the day. We took traditional photos, fun photos, artistic photos, and everything in between! I’m telling you… He is genius! We couldn’t be happier with the way our photographs turned out. Hired Bill to take my engagement photos and I couldn’t be any happier. Bill is extremely professional and was fun to work with. My fiancé did not know he was there when I proposed and it was perfect as he was taking pictures the whole time, and then following the proposal we did an awesome shoot down by the water.

Bill has amazing talent in making not just one person but two people in a photo look good together, by placing us in the right lighting, making the background around us look gorgeous, and telling a story through his photography.
He is passionate and patient and is obsessed with getting the best shot for you.
My fiancé and I did our engagement photo shoot at Balboa Park since we are getting married in Hawaii, and we LOVED our photos so much we ordered a beautifully, well made guest signing book for our wedding!
He made us feel so comfortable and relax from the moment we met him. I highly recommend Bill for all your photography needs and wedding!
If I was not getting married in Hawaii, I would of definitely booked Bill for our wedding!

Bill did a holiday photo shoot with our family, including a VERY grumpy 2-​year old. He was so patient and spent whatever extra time was needed to capture just the right photos. Weather was not ideal but we made the most of it and have amazing individual photos of the kids as well as our family. Oh my goodness, we love Bill Rice Photography! My husband and I commissioned Bill for a holiday photo shoot. The goal was to mirror «awkward family photos» in which people take portraits with their pets. He was happy to work with our crazy ideas and he captured some absolutely hilarious shots of us with our pet turtle! Comedy aside, the photos were well-​staged, polished and professional — Bill’s strong industry expertise really shined through in every pic! I’d hire him again in a heartbeat, and as an event planner, I will definitely be recommending
to future wedding clients.
