Specializing in all hair and skin types, I offer a large service menu including both hair and makeup artistry. I offer all different methods of hair cutting, coloring, color correction, keratin treatments, updo’s and special occasion hairstyles. I also offer make-​up applications both traditional and airbrush.

History

Established in 2001.

I have been a licensed Cosmetologist as well as an active member in the Beauty Industry for 15 years, and counting (licensed, Feb. 2000). In that time, I have perfected my skills by taking as many classes as possible, attending several different hair shows and conferences, and making sure to always remain passionate about continuing education.

I have gained and retained a very loyal and diverse clientele. This has been very beneficial in becoming confident in providing quality services to people of all different backgrounds and ethnicities. I take pride in having learned what is hot and trendy in various different cultures. I love that I can work on all different hair types and textures as well as skin types and tones.

Throughout my career, I have always been complimented on my high quality professionalism and attention to detail technique. Because of this, I know you will leave my chair thrilled with your new look and anxious for everyone to admire you even more than usual!

I am a Master Stylist who specializes in both hair and makeup artistry. I absolutely love and take pride in making people look and feel their absolute best. I strive for 100% customer satisfaction in quality of service, sanitation, comfort level, professionalism, customer service and of course, end result.

When I’m not behind the chair at the salon, I travel and educate for (SexyHair). For those of you who are not familiar, they are an awesome worldwide brand of quality and professional hair products! I am also an Elite Expert for an online beauty advise column. And last but not least, I own and operate an on-​location service company.

You can ensure that you will be in the hands of someone who stays on the cutting edge of all current trends while in my chair. I take pride in taking several continuing ed classes on new techniques all from different brands to ensure I offer nothing but the most current looks.

I completed my hair and make up trail with Briana to test out my favorite wedding looks. I immediately fell in love with Briana’s kind and welcoming personality! She made me feel so beautiful, I knew I just had to book her for my special day! I could not be any more happy with the wonderful job she did for me, my bridesmaids, and my mom! She kindly traveled to me on my wedding day, which made everything so easy for me! She was on time and stuck to a strict itinerary, which every bride appreciates on her wedding day! Briana did my makeup and hair trial for my wedding. She is so sweet and listens very intently to what you want. She worked on my long hair and made it into a messy up-​so. Came out exactly what I wanted! Then she took the time to listen to what I wanted for my wedding makeup. I showed pictures as to what I want and she did exactly what I expected. Trial took about 2.5 hours for both and I couldn’t be anymore happier!
I scheduled a cut with Briana since I knew I wanted a cut before the big day. I felt my hair become really heavy and it was hard to dry. I’m glad Briana was able to squeeze me into her busy schedule the weekend of the Marine Corp Ball. Briana did a wash, cut and blow dry. If you are a first time client you get $ 10 off your first service.
Briana is also an educator for Big Sexy Hair and is very knowledgable with hair and makeup. I did ask about various makeup and she was able to provide some great recommendations. I found my new hair stylist!

I had my wedding just this past weekend and was lucky enough to have Briana as my artist. She is competent, efficient and an all-​around cool woman. She listened to my concerns (I have rosacea) and did an excellent job with my makeup and hair. While talking to her I felt that she truly knew what she was doing and was able to relax.
She also did my sister and bridesmaids hair/​makeup and we all looked stunning. I was impressed because we’re all very different «looks» but she was great at working with each of us. We didn’t look the same… we looked our best for our skin/​hair type.
My now brother in law said that when they first saw me that I looked like I was walking off the pages of a bridal magazine. Most importantly to me… the makeup and hair held up throughout the event. It was a hot day (low 90’s in San Diego!!) and we made it through the night looking great. I truly enjoyed working with her and hope to use her again if I have the opportunity.

I am a new mommy and don’t have much time on my hands these days. But after I had my son my hair changed… a lot! It became coarse and was doing this weird wave! My friend recommended I get a Brazilian Blowout by Briana because she had gone to many different places and she was the best. I was a bit hesitant at first but let me tell you that I should have gone A LOT sooner! The end result was beautiful! I am in love. I have to also mention how sweet Briana is. She went out of her way to make me feel comfortable! Make sure you call way ahead of time if possible because from the looks of it she is always crazy busy and I can see why! I will definitely be coming back and make sure I tell everyone I know how amazing and talented Briana truly is.

I have been a client of Briana’s for many years now and I will follow her anywhere she goes because she is the BEST!
I am VERY particular about the way my hair is cut and she always hits it out of the park. I travel a lot for work and have occasionally had to get my cut elsewhere but always regret is when I see the lack of detail. Briana takes pride in her work and makes sure I leave the salon completely happy.

I was long overdue for a new look. I usually get my haircut by a local barber. This time I wanted to try something new. A client of mine highly recommended Briana Hernandez to get my hair styled. I called and was able to setup an appointment that fit my schedule.
Her location is situated near Fashion Valley mall in the Town and Country Hotel complex. It can be a little bit confusing to find since there are no signs directing to the salon. Parking wasn’t a problem when you’re in the complex.
Since my hair is thinning I wanted a hair style that hides my scalp. She recommended that I go with a razor cut to create layers in my hair. Briana was very inviting and full of energy. I was amazed with the end result. The new hairstyle allowed me to style my hair with paste while hiding my scalp. Also, at the end of your visit make sure to get your parking validated.
If you’re looking to upgrade your style I would highly recommend Briana Hernandez. She definitely has a «third eye for style».

Briana is great at her job!
I needed some lightening and brightening and stopped in for some help. I had a personal friend recommend Briana and I am really happy I listened!
Briana is very friendly and able to carry on a good conversation, but also knows when to just get to work and let me read my magazine! She did a great job with my cut and color — even my hubs commented on it when I got home and he never notices anything!
She is currently in the Bella Tosca salon and spa — great location, easy parking which they validate and you can even order a glass of wine from room service.
It did take 3+ hours for my shoulder length hair for partial, deep conditioning treatment and cut, so she isn’t going to speed through and leave any mistakes. I am really happy with the results and appreciate she was willing to book the appt via email.
