Horrible experience here, from start to finish. It’s been a year since I had auto body work done here, and I regret going here. It was cheap, and in my attempt to save money, I got scammed. The paint is already peeling off, I assume because they use lower quality paint and that is how they charge lower prices. I would not recommend this place at all. It looks fine when you first pick the car up, but one year later it will have to get redone.
Not to mention the horrible rude treatment I got from the older man (who I believe is the father). His breath smelled like alcohol, and he yelled at me in person and on the phone too. He was physically intimidating me by getting up in my face and waving his arms in the air while yelling. I was pregnant then. At the time, I decided to let it go because based on the reviews, I thought I would get a good job done on my car. No, it was poor quality work and I put up with the disrespectful abusive behavior for nothing.
I have also reported them to the authorities for auto insurance fraud. When I called to report them, they said that the place was already under investigation. Report car insurance fraud and organized auto insurance fraud to the California District Attorney’s Office.
When I got there, all the family stood there looking at my car and ignoring me. So I had to walk into the office. I was «greeted» with a dirty look, and he proceeded to yell at me, while his sons stood there observing the abuse. The first thing the man asked me was, «Who is paying?» When I told him it was the person who dented my car, he asked me «Are they paying in credit card or cash?» What? What does that matter? He then proceeded to yell at me and try to intimidate me. Then they started talking about me in front of me in their language.
Do not go here, you may save money now, but in the long run you will regret it.

i needed a side view mirror replaced and they placed the order for the part eta 2 days
i showed up at 5:05 rushing after i got off work. they close at 5pm and they still took me in
it took him no more than 10min to replace my driver side mirror that had been side swiped and it was as good as new :)

Honest people with quality work at reasonable prices. I can’t say enough good things about this family run auto body shop. The people here don’t try to nickel and dime you, they try to save you money. I was given estimates at other facilities and they charged me ¹⁄₁₀ of what other shops tried to get out of me. The craftsmanship was excellent and done in a very timely manner. I highly suggest taking your vehicle here, I know I will be.

I just had my wife’s ML350 fixed here. They did a fantastic job with quality work. I couldn’t be any happier, especially with the customer service. Thanks again.

I was hit on the fender which scratched a small section of the door panel. Not only did they replaced the fender and painted the CORRECT white-​ish color, they also fixed the scratches on the door without charging me. They were very prompt, clear and treated my car as if it was their own. The mechanic listened to what I have to say and responded politely. They use to have a very friendly dog in the office that I use to play with, but he’s not there no more :(
All in all, I refer my friends and family. We have been loyal customers for 3 years and counting.

Excellent place! I had a great experience with them. I went to several collision auto body to get my car estimated but nothing can beat this! This place actually saved me a lot of money! And the quality and service is great! I really recommend everyone to come here if you need your car repair for any major or minor accidents. SAVE MONEY TOO! The guys who work there were really nice and trustworthy. Athough, the place is kinda messy but don’t judge from the book :) I definately would refer my family and friends to come here if they need to fix their car and recommended for all you Unilocalers!

The Son, the Father, and the Holy Diety oh My!
After searching San Diego for a good deal on fixing up some scratches and dents I’ve accumulated over the past 5 years, I landed at Collision Auto Body and Paint for 2 reasons. 1) It was the cheapest quote 2) It is close enough to my house that I could drop my car off and walk home.
Now, I’m not gonna lie… this place is a little scary. First, the neighborhood is not exactly glamorous, and second, the parking lot of the business has cars and car parts scattered everywhere and you literally have to step around bumpers etc. to get into the office.
This is evidently a family run affair. The Son was the first guy I had contact with, he didn’t win any personality awards but did negotiate with me for a low price. On my second visit I met the Father. He greeted me by saying «What you want?!» and then screamed at the resident guard dog to «SHUT UP!» stunning me for a moment. This is not a warm, fuzzy kind of place. As I glanced around the office, I couldn’t help but notice a couple of shrines that didn’t look Buddhist, or Hindu per se (I was raised Catholic so what do I know… I think there was Vietnamese writing on the walls), but there were pictures of dieties and incense droppings everywhere, and even a bowl of plaintains and an apple beneath the altar. Well, this reassured me a little bit. I’m thinking… hmm, no certifications posted anywhere, disorganization, no reviews, no nothing to soothe my fears about leaving my car in the hands of these people except — the unidenifiable deity shrine. Well, that’s why they call it faith People.
Turns out, they did a great job with my car and also patched a glass chip in my windshield. Sometimes, you’ve just got to have a little faith. (And a Unilocal review doesn’t hurt!).
