The whole staff at deluxe auto body is amazing. They’re genuine and hardworking people, and they gave me a good price to paint the spoiler for my WRX. They did a fantastic job at paint matching, and the quality is supreme. Not only was the work good, but the work was finished on time, when they said it would be done.
Love these guys, I would come back again and recommend them to everyone :)

Needed some paint work done. Came upon Deluxe Auto Body. They gave me a great quote and took me in right away. They were fast and the paint work was flawless. The staff were friendly, knowledgable, and professional. I now recommend all my friends and family to this shop!

I got into an accident and that evening emailed a picture of the damage and asked for a rough estimate. Thomas got back to me within the hour (even though it was after 8pm!) and gave me a ballpark figure, and told me to come in once I had the insurance company take a look.
I dropped it off on a Wednesday and was told it would be ready by the following Wednesday. This is where it got a little hairy. My insurance company waited several days before approving an additional repair and when I called in to make sure I was able to pick up my car in the morning, I was informed it was going to take a couple extra days. Given that this was Thanksgiving week, it meant I had to keep my rental car an additional five days. Thomas felt bad about this since I was paying out of pocket for the rental and discounted the final price.
Great customer service is especially apparent when things don’t always go as planned, and Thomas was not only apologetic in his words but in his actions for the delay. Would definitely recommend.

Nice guys, quality work. Spoke with Thomas over phone after finding on Unilocal and asked I had been to Penske and Mini Cooper Independent Garage in Miramar for quotes already. Penske always takes too long and Mini Independent Garage was terrible experience with the owner Mack who kept trying to direct me on what I should say to insurance about repair. Thomas told me they would promise to do their best to accommodate my body repair to both driver side doors and rear bumper as soon as possible. Chris took care of me when I got there, friendly, nice and easy. The original turnaround time was at one week while the other shops said 2 and up to 3 weeks. Deluxe got it done early in 5 days without lowering standards to the repair. Did a great job. I’ll be back!

Brought my car in after a hit and run messed up my rear fender. The service was great and friendly. The owner provided me with a reasonable estimate and completed the work within the time frame he told me initially. I would highly recommend Deluxe. They even detailed my car! I’ve been going to deluxe auto body since 2010, Thomas and his crew impressed me yet again. The attention to detail on the paint and install is amazing. Also if you want awesome customer service, this is the place. Thank you all!

Slammed the side of the car into a pole in a parking lot — oops :(never done that before.
Didn’t want to go through insurance. Took the car to two other places for quotes — 3x what Thomas quoted, especially since I explained that I was paying for it. Thomas was very understanding and explained the whole process. The big sliding door, back panel and lower bumper were all affected.
Took the car in on a Monday — they gave me a ride back home! Thomas said the car would be ready by Friday that week — explained that the weather that week might slow them down a bit (but it didn’t, he was trying to be realistic in case). Called him to check up on Thursday, he said the car would be ready for pick up at midday Friday. They came and drove me to the shop so I could pick up my car! There is was like brand new!
Everything went so smoothly, like a routine grocery shopping trip. He said what he was going to do and he did it, on time, no excuses or delays.
Thomas and his son are the nicest people you can meet — one of those families you meet that just make you smile. So genuine, helpful, not pushy, trustworthy. They have been in that same shop for over 20yrs!

Shopped around at several repair shops. Prices were too high — I’m not interested in paying for their grand emporiums. Found a little hole in the wall run by an enlightened soul named Thomas: soft-​spoken, friendly and gracious. He said I didn’t need the whole car painted, just the hood, roof, trunk lid and bumpers. I knew that, but the other shops said they couldn’t match the paint perfectly. Thomas said he could, and he did. Car was done in a few days and looked brand new. Exceptional workmanship.
That was a year ago. I waited to write this review to see how the paint and the color would stand up. Other than a few parking lot nicks, it still looks new.
Next time, I’m not shopping around, I’ll just head straight for Deluxe Auto Body. Montana

My car was T-​Boned by a Big Truck desperate to get in to the Starbucks drive through. Both driver and rear door were damaged. My car has a super cute blue tape wave on the side, and I was sad to think we would loose the detail, but mostly I just needed the car back. I told the insurances I didn’t care about cosmetics.
The Guys at Deluxe Auto Body took great care of my car, and even restored the wave detail. They had too look all over to find the used doors, and my car has never looked better.

This is by far one of the best auto body shops I have ever been to. I was in accident and my insurance company asked me to find a shop and all the reviews on Unilocal are spot on about thomas and his business. He is one the most honest and dedicated businessmen I have ever met. I actually overpaid him on what my portion was and he was so honest he gave me money back! If you have ever any body work needed please contact Thomas immediately as he will take special care of your car like its his own and in the car world honesty and amazing work is all you can ask for. Thomas was awesome. I had to replace my front bumper, fender and headlight on my nearly brand new 2013 Honda Accord. He gave me a fair and honest quote and was able to salvage my headlight so that I could save some money (I was paying out of pocket). The work was immaculate! I highly recommend seeing Thomas and his team for any auto body work.

Thomas and his crew are so professional and truly good people… I took my 2012 Nissan Altima in after an accident and less than 2 weeks later (slow down due to my insurance not Thomas) I had my car looking beautiful again! I was so happy with the body work they did. I can’t believe I actually found a real 5-​star business. From start to finish deluxe auto body catered to every concern I had from price to parts, to delivery time, and etc. The owner of this place is Thomas, it is a family owned business and prides itself on quality work and fare prices. Thomas motto is «job is done when the customer is happy» it took 3 weeks to order my custom headlights and Thomas even let me store my car there until the headlights came. His wife and son always give me a bottle of water every time I came and made me feel like part of the family. My 13′ kia optima was destroyed in a front end collision and from the looks of the picture you would never know it. Flawless paint and all factory oem parts. If you ever need your vehicle fixed and want it done the right way the first time come see Thomas at Deluxe Auto Body.

I was referred by a co-​worker, Miguel who owns a Mustang and he raved about this place. I literally was in a fender bender with my 2008 Hyundai Sonata. I took it in on a Thursday afternoon and was told it was ready the next Wednesday. They got it done so quickly that the insurance payment had not reached Deluxe Auto Body yet. So I was not able to pick up my car yet, but my insurance agent contacted them with proof of payment being sent out and Deluxe Auto Body released my car. Wow such professional service and really quick! The results were amazing and the paint matched perfectly. They guarantee all of their work.
Please give this place your business. You’ll be glad you did. Next time I need any body work I will definitely bring my business to them. By the way, when I previously had work done on my car it was two weeks in the shop by a AAA referred business. Deluxe Auto Body is way quicker and do just as good a job if not better.

WHEN I WENT: Arrived Monday 1:30PM. Left around 1:50PM. The shop is on 40^th Street, which is a one-​way street off of El Cajon Blvd heading east. Right turn just after the gas station (same right turn to get on the 15-​South fwy, so don’t be like me and get confused and not take that right turn). The street is kind of narrow so be careful when parking on the street. The storefront is in a blue craftsman style house building.
WHY I WENT: I scraped the front bumper and fender on the passenger side against a chain link fence and also had a dent in the bottom of the back passenger door that I got in a parking lot.
OVERALL IMPRESSIONS: All pros, no cons.
1. Thomas is very nice and able to give you a quote super fast (obviously he’s been in the business awhile and knows what’s what)
2. He gave me 2 price options. One with higher end products (lifetime warranty) and second with lower end products (2 year warranty). I chose the higher end bc it wasn’t that much more for the better warranty.
3. This was my 3^rd quote from different auto body shops. Thomas came in $ 600-​$ 700 lower than the other two places. Cost was crucial because I was paying out-​of-​pocket.
4. I left my car there the same day I got the quote. Enterprise Car Rental is literally 2 minutes walking distance away. Thomas provided me with Enterprise’s phone number so I reserved a rental by phone before I walked there. So with the quote and getting a rental car, everything took only about 30 mins. Which meant I made it back to work within my one hour lunch break! Sweet!
5. Thomas promised that it would take at most 4 days to complete the repairs. I took my car in on Monday afternoon and got my car back on Wednesday morning. (less than two days turnaround!)
6. The repaired areas look great. Good as new.
I love it when things just fall into place and there are no hassles or drama. This place is just that. Straightforward, no time wasted, and no drama.
