I wanted a custom airbrush tan for a carribean vacation. I have never tanned let alone paid for a custom airbrush. I was very reluctant/​nervous. I found Lisa’s on Groupon. After reading reviews and speaking to Lisa over the phone I decided to go for it. I am so glad I did! First off Lisa is cute as a button! Bubbly, pretty and PROFESSIONAL! Once you meet her you just know that she means business and takes great pride in her craft. The experience was amazing! No strange lingering odors that I read about online or that friends warned me of. She gave me exactly what I asked for, a nice subtle glow for my vacation. The process lasted a whole fifteen minutes. I have been getting Custom Airbrush tans from Lisa for about 4 months now and she has been absolutely amazing with her services, her prices are extremely reasonable and she responds back to every text message right away to set up appointments whenever i reach out to her. I paid Lisa in advance for 3 tanning sessions. I was unhappy with the tan and ThEn when she was unable to accommodate my schedule for the second one I requested a refund. She flat out refused and said ‘there are no refunds’. that is a horrible way to run a business. good luck to you.

Lisa is seriously the best airbrush tanner in all of San Diego. I would never go anywhere else for my airbrushing needs. Every other place does not listen and makes me look like a pumpkin. Lisa on the other hand, takes her time with you and makes sure you understand everything that is being done. Ask any questions you have and she will gladly answer them.
I’m Irish and Danish so pretty pale. I had an even I needed to be tan for and I’ll post the before and after pictures. She turns you into a bronzed goddess. Seriously. She also offers packages and post tan body care products so that you can get the most out of your tan.

Lisa is truly talented at what she does! I’ve been using sunless tanning methods for at least 16 years, so I consider myself a tough critic. I remember some of the first tanners I ever purchased would always leave my skin with a fake orange color, streaks, missed spots, etc. Needless to say, I have had some horrible sunless tans and some really amazing sunless tans over the years through trial and error. You can use lotions at home, spray in a booth, or get airbrushed by a person. Spray tanning in a booth is a great option, but in my opinion, it’s never as great as going to someone that can airbrush you. However, finding the right person can be difficult. Just like experimenting with the tanners you buy in the grocery store or online to keep up your color, you have to find someone that can get the job done right. It’s not just about making you look great, it’s about making you feel safe and comfortable, especially considering that you’re stripping down for a stranger. I went to Lisa for the first time for an airbrush tan right before my 30^th birthday on a Friday night since my birthday party was on Saturday night. After my spray tan, I woke up the next day with the perfect color. I wanted to be extra dark since my party was at night. I got so many compliments on my tan from people at the party and from people who saw pictures of me online. I just went to Lisa again about a week ago before my 7 day cruise to Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlán, and Puerto Vallarta. My tan was practically flawless and looked so natural. I rarely like picture of myself, but I like almost every single picture from the trip and I have the tan and Lisa to thank for that. Again, I’ve been getting a lot of compliments on the tan from friends. The first tan I got with Lisa lasted about 1.5 weeks, maybe close to 2 because I moisturized a lot, though it of course fades a little each day. This time around, the tan lasted for about a week, but I was on a beach vacation and in water every single day, which is why the tan faded faster. All in all, I couldn’t be happier with the results I get from Lisa’s airbrush tans. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone!

Once again a flawless tan by Lisa. She’s prompt, efficient and has the best product. Her prices can’t really be competed with. I’m looking forward to this summer on the beach in San Diego!!!

Little disappointed here. Got a groupon. Tried calling to make an appointment. First time called: lady picked up and said that she will call me back in 2 hours, but never did. I called a couple of days later: no one picked up. I left a voice mail with my name and phone number twice, but unfortunately no one called me back either. Called today for the third time. None of the 2 days that I wanted were available because it is Lisa’s dad’s birthday. I understand personal things do happen, but what kind of customer service is that when I have to be on top of her to just even get a hold and ask for an appointment. So disappointed. I loved all other reviews, but sadly I couldn’t leave a good one. May be it is because I mentioned that I have a groupon and they don’t make much money out of it?! Meh. Plain disappointment.
P. S. The owner send me a sarcastic message a day after I left a review. She didn’t even say hello, nor addressed me by name, but told me That I made some false accusations. SO DISRESPECTFUL! I reported her to groupon and got my money back.

Needed a quick tan for my Halloween costume. I went as Magnum PI. Lisa was awesome, in a matter of minutes I had a nice even coloring. The tint was right on, it didn’t look orangey or fake. I was really pleased and ended up winning the costume contest. So thank you Lisa for the help to bring me victory. I highly recommend anybody that needs some color without getting harmful uv rays, to schedule your appointment with Lisa. Her friendly demeanor and reasonable prices will make you feel like a million bucks.

Definitely my favorite place to get an airbrush. Every time I get a tan done by her I get compliments and even texts asking where I got it done. Never looks orangey and she knows just what color to use to compliment your skin tone. She even makes it so your hands and feet aren’t blotchy and nothing gets on your palms, nails or the bottom of your feet. Great experience always!

I came to Lisa with a Groupon a month before my wedding. I’ve had spray tans but never a custom airbrush tan before so I figured the 3 airbrush tans for $ 39 was a great deal and it wold give me a couple chances to test it out before my big day. I also told my bridesmaids and 2 of them purchased the Groupon as well and we scheduled our first appointment with Lisa together.
My first visit was a blast! Who would have thought getting fully naked and sprayed down in a tent with your best friends and a perfect stranger would be so enjoyable!!! But it really was. Lisa is a sweetheart! She offered us a glass of wine and giggled with us as we gossiped and talked about wedding details. And while she interacted with us like one of the girls, she was also very professional, which is a necessity when you’re stripping down and posing in awkward ways. My co-​ed bridal shower was later that night and I felt and looked like a million bucks, thanks to Lisa! Before I left I purchased a one-​time airbrush for my mom (who lives in another state) to doll her up for my wedding.
The second tan went just as well. Wine, laughs and a beautiful glow. During that visit I found out Lisa has the capability to go mobile so I set up my final appointment with my 2 bridesmaids, my mom and a few other girlfriends at my place 2 nights before my wedding. When she arrived she set up in my living room as we drank mimosas. We offered to help but she totally had everything under control. She took extra time on me to give me a perfect glow for my perfect day. My mom went last and she’s very self-​conscious about her weight so she decided to hold up a towel at first and have Lisa just spray her face, neck arms and legs (what wasn’t covered by her dress) but Lisa was so sweet and made my mom feel so comfortable that she ended up ditching the towel and let Lisa give her all-​over glow.
The final results were fantastic. She made us all look so natural and soft and pretty I couldn’t have asked for a better looking bridal party.
I recently went to another place for an airbrush tan and had a less-​than-​awesome experience and tan. I went there out of convenience. I scheduled an appointment last minute because I decided to go to opening day (which was the next day) and I needed a little color so I wouldn’t look so washed out in my pale pink dress and gold hat… Totally didn’t happen. The tan/​bronzer that this other place used made me look too dark and almost dirty and it turned my underarms green (because of my deodorant). The person who did it was nice enough but you could tell he felt rushed and my tan came out uneven and just plain wrong for me. Also when I called to schedule this appointment they didn’t let me know that a male would be airbrushing me so it was a total surprise to me when a guy came in and asked me to undress… He was totally professional but still… They could have at least asked if minded when I called to schedule.
Now having another airbrush experience to compare Lisa to I know that she’s truly and artist and cares about what she does and the outcome of each tan. She uses the best tanner/​bronzers/​lotions and gives you the best service. She was also super accommodating to our schedule (crazy busy bride and 2 busy bridesmaids) and her pricing is super affordable.

The airbrush was a bit sticky then other places that I have tried. The color was a little too dark for my lighter skin friends. I am pretty tan so it just blended in for me. I think we should have been able to get more options.
One thing I really like about Lisa is that she has attention to detail. She took her time and that is always a good thing. Her prices are reasonable. Def support smaller businesses.

I visited the lovely and talented Lisa June 5^th for my second spray tan with her and here it is 5 days later and my body tan is holding up despite showering twice daily! Lisa added magical oil to spray formula this time that promised to give the tan staying power. And it worked! My spray tans have never lasted this long.
Having used self tanners since the 80’s I can tell you the color is completely natural. Just make sure to use blocking cream on nails, palms to avoid streaking and color accumulation.
Lisa has a comfortable bedside manner that makes you want to tell her anything! She’s a true professional. You will be in good hands.
Lastly, prep wisely before getting a spray tan. Ask Lisa for advice the day prior. And just as important, don’t perspire afterwards,
otherwise streaks will occur.

I found the lovely Lisa on a groupon offer for airbrush spray tanning. Being a so cal girl, I like my tan. Being a so cal girl with tattoos, the sun is now my mortal enemy. Couple that with all the time I spend outside walking the dog but trying to keep somewhat covered, now I had some freaky tan lines. Namely the one on my leg midway up my calf. Shorts were staring at me from the black hole that is my closet and my legs wanted out! The solution was a quick fix spray tan! Enter Lisa in her private suite in gorgeous la jolla!
