Jayson and his brothers Greg and Alex Jr have been specializing in Green, Organic Zero Residue steam carpet cleaning for over 23 years now. We have a real passion for this cleaning industry. We have seen many changes that have allowed you as our clients to get clean, healthy, non toxic cleanings that will allow your carpets to stay cleaner so much longer than they used to. Soaps, detergents, and surfactants are a generation past. We found out about this company from a flyer. We were skeptical at first. So we only did the 3 rooms. But now we’re so happy with the results!!! We’ll do the whole house next time. Our carpet is fluffy and clean!!! Not icky like before with the other companies. The service was great too. Also they were straight forward with their price… no hidden fees!!!

Three years of day-​to-​day foot traffic and two pugs running around chasing opportunities to eat a morsel of food left our carpet in quite a state. We cleaned with our home steamer and that was fine for carpet maintenance, but once all the furniture was gone in preparation for our move, the state of the carpet was surprising. Areas that were under furniture provided a stark contrast to the exposed areas.
I wondered why carpet even existed in this light beige color when dirt shows up so easily? Granted, I wouldn’t want some maroon colored carpet just to cover up stains. As Jayson told me, carpets are made to get dirty and be cleaned. Jayson and Christian just left and our carpet looks great and the pet odor that I had apparently learned to live with is gone.
I hired a Groupon company before and found that I got what I paid for in their service. This time, I spent the extra money and can honestly say that I’m very pleased with the outcome! I definitely recommend Peninsula Carpet Cleaning.

The first time they came to my house, they charged me $ 145 for my whole house (1 large livingroom/​office area + 3 bedrooms). They did a great job, no complaints there. The carpet was clean and stayed clean for a good 2 months, which is a little better than my previous carpet cleaning guy. Having said that, the previous carpet cleaning guy only charges me $ 80 for my whole house. That’s $ 65 more, but I bought into all this talk about cleaning with all this natural products and not leaving any chemicals in the carpet.
Last week, I called to have them come by and clean my house again. They showed up today, this time two guys showed up (one with a clipboard and another with a rolling measuring tape). They walked into my house saying, «Ok, it’s going to be $ 0.50/sq foot» and start measuring my living room. After they measured, the guy with the clipboard made the calculations and right way tells me, «the living room is going to be $ 130.» I was a little surprised since the previous time it was only $ 145 for the whole house, so I said something and it was as if they were playing good cop, bad cop. One guy says, we can call and talk to our boss, meanwhile the other guy is saying, «no, no, our boss said to charge $ 0.50/sq foot. Then they went on to measure one of the bedrooms, which was completly empty and the «good cop» is like, we can charge you $ 0.35/square foot for this room since it’s completely empty and the other guy says, no the boss said $ 0.50/sq foot.
Needless to say, I didn’t do it. The quote to do the whole house came out to almost double what they charged me the first time. I guess I’ll be calling my old carpet cleaning guy again, since Peninsula Carpet Care is more interested in making sure they turn a BIG profit instead of keeping a happy, repeat customer.

Great experience, I called them in a carpet crunch. I needed my carpets cleaned within a few days before a party. Even though they were booked out a few weeks, they were very accomodating and made it happen. They’re very good at communicating if they’re running late and that’s hard to find in a contractor. Carpets look like new – highly recommend!

I found this company on Unilocal and decided to give them a shot after reading all the fantastic reviews. I’m going to echo the praises– Jayson called me within an hour of me sending an e-​mail, despite it being well into the evening. I’d expected to maybe hear back the next day, but he was incredibly prompt!
I explained to Jayson what the problem was (window AC unit had leaked, stained the carpet, and smelled like dirty sneakers), and he explained exactly what had happened with the carpet and how they could reverse it all. We set up an appointment, and right on time, Alex and Christian showed up and got straight to work. In exactly an hour, they had my floors looking like new.
They have a minimum charge for coming out, but for $ 100, they cleaned the carpets in two bedrooms and our hallway. I’ll admit, I didn’t shop around for pricing, but I’ll gladly pay that for prompt, professional service and quality work with trustworthy people. Alex also left a bottle of their detergent-​less spot cleaner which they refill for life. It was a nice little bonus to an already great experience.
I’ll recommend these guys to anyone. They absolutely deserve your business.

Once again, I’m deeply impressed. I received a handwritten card in the mail today from Jayson, Alex, and Christian thanking me for my business, along with some coupons for my next service.

The best in town. I used to try to clean my own carpets with a cleaning machine I bought at Costco… what a joke. Then I used Stanley Steamer — which was good enough. My neighbor recommended Peninsula.
I’ve hired Peninsula Carpet Cleaning twice — both times they arrived on-​time, gave a very fair price then exceeded expectations. They are very detail oriented and use very good equipment that I have not seen used elsewhere. They work efficiently. You might find cheaper but you won’t find better. Worth every penny — especially if you have pets.

These guys are the best! I’ve tried zerorez in the past but this family owned business does a much better job with a very similar no-​soap process. Jayson and Alex were very polite, they put on shoe covers before they stepped foot in my house, and Jayson gave me a «carpet lesson» before he started. You can tell they are very knowledgable and take pride in their work. They were the only carpet cleaners I’ve ever used that told me to open my windows a crack, and set my thermostat to 70 to make the carpets dry faster and prevent condensation on the windows. It worked great but mostly because they did such a good job of extracting most of the water out of the carpet to begin with. My carpets look new again and they were able to get out a couple of cat barf stains that I thought would never go away.
Look for their pink flyers to get an introductory deal which often includes cleaning one room for free. I’m so glad I called them and their magnet is now on my fridge for the next cleaning.
