CVS Pharmacy

2 forms of id, and they can’t sell me alcohol because none of my ids work with their «scanner». I’m trying to buy a 6 pack and I have a military ID as well as a Georgia state ID. Both match with names and dates. Get real. Never going back.

I spend my money primarily on makeup, so as far as their makeup selection goes, it’s pretty fairly stocked for the average drugstore — only a handful of items missing that I could see.
Stanley the cashier seems to always be working whenever I come in. He greets everyone who walks in and is friendly ringing people up :)
I’ve also used their pharmacy a few times, which seems pretty competent. Sometimes it takes them a while to locate my prescription in the baskets/​shelves, but they’ve always found them in the end.
The only bad side is the occasional sketchy scenes that happen outside the store: not so rare loitering, cars zooming around the parking lot not too concerned with pedestrians — one time I saw two older women yelling at each other and cursing just outside the door. This isn’t exactly the store’s fault, but thought I’d mention it since it’s unpleasant.

I was a customer at this CVS for about 3 ½ years at the pharmacy with great service and no problems with my prescription’s and I have quite a few prescription’s. I was also a Long’s customer for 10 years. Then the staff changed once again and a new pharmacist and a few new tech’s came on board and the my nightmare begun, first waiting 20 mins at the drive thru in my van watching the tech on duty Tim ignore me at the drive thru window. When he finally decided to take care of me he lied to me telling me how busy they had been, mind you not only had I been able to see everything going on behind the counter from my vantage point but I had also called to let them know I was waiting because the drive through intercom was off. They immediately put me on hold and never came back.
CVS does not care about you… After this one incident where Tim conveniently left one of my prescription’s out of my bag prompting a return trip to the store i met their pharmacist Robert Sanzenbacher who decided to teach me a lesson about asking for an apology. He constantly screwed up my prescriptions to the point that he had to write a letter of apology to me and then he did it again, so you see CVS really does not care about your health at this location… after countless calls to customer service and being off an on my medications because of countless screw ups and never advancing me pills so I would not be off of my medications until they fixed their mistakes, and countless other errors, I was very lucky a new pharmacy opened across the street from me, WellnessRX on University Ave in the Food4less shopping center… So good bye to you after years and years of great service you are now just a big company who does not really care about your customer’s. Why take cigarettes out of your store and leave your customer’s in the hands of pharmacist like Robert Sanzenbacher who thinks a customer asking for an apology is wrong and uses his position to try and physically harm them? Is that how much you care about the people who entrust their medication prescription’s to you? The next person may not be as lucky as me and then what? He’s a loose canon and you know it already…

This place has extremely rude employees. I came here to buy some alcohol with my stepfather to celebrate a special occasion. I was with my stepfather who was going to purchase steak after we left CVS. Unfortunately the rude lady at the checkout counter not only asked for my Identification but then proceeded to ask my stepfather, who doesn’t even drink and wasn’t purchasing any alcohol for his I.D. Then she refuses to sell me alcohol because he doesn’t have an I. D on him. That doesn’t sound right. So does that mean i have to leave my 2 year old son in the car every time i buy alcohol because he doesn’t have an ID? Regardless i leave the store for 20 minutes and come back in by myself to purchase the alcohol. After waiting in line again she refuses me again and calls me a liar and gets a terrible attitude. I politely ask for her supervisors number and she does everything to avoid giving me the number. After several times of asking for the phone number she gives me a fake number. So i guess her name is HALLIE the assistant store manager. What i did is call the store afterwards and she put me on hold on purpose and never answered. Also while i was in line there was only one clerk there until HALLIE showed up out of no where looking high as a kite.

Cashier said I looked old 3 times, and proceeded to not sell me alcohol. I’m not one to be embarrassed, but how in the world do you call a customer old 3 times.

I went in tonight to get a bottle of Hennessy and I called before to make sure they had it. When I arrived the clerk «Stanley» greeted me and my friend. We are both 25 years old and had Id but he refused my business. I was fresh off work and have not had a drink smh. He told me to have a nice day in a sarcastic voice and seemed mad about something. I am a Sdsu student and advise any black Sdsu students to not come to this store. Smh it’s sad that young African Americans can’t enjoy there night like everyone else in 2015!

Ive been a loyal customer for years at this location. I coupon so its nice that cvs has an awesome rewards program. I usually visit this location at night because I work during the day. Went to return a faulty phone charger and an employee informs me that they don’t do returns at night. Is there a sign up? no. Does it say that online? no. I’m starting to think he made that up. Also the photo service machines have been down for 8+ months! I swear within the last year this place has gone down hill. Their prescriptions are expensive and this location does not care about its customers.

I’ve seen advertisements every here and there for CVS being the kind of store where the employees are personally vested in all kinds of common ailments, and the ease of talking to them affirms the customer’s search in whatever they may need to help them out. I’ve run into a lot of places making claims like this, when in reality the employees just want their shifts to end, and they wear that look on their faces.
I had a buddy complain of some stomach pain the other night, he asks me to take him to CVS. We get there and he starts his search for his ailment-​cure, with me wandering into the back to snag an Arizona and hang around.
Dean is the nicest cashier I’ve met, this year. I’ve run into some great changers, but this guy takes the cake. Sans the people in line, while I was waiting for my buddy, Dean and I discussed the culture of the College Area, the type of carpets CVS uses, all among an atmosphere of such a comfortable drugstore. The guy even has the make and look of someone who looks like they work at a CVS, if that makes sense!
I felt all kinds of comfy in that CVS, and it shines through as a great customer service experience.

This is my favorite CVS! I am always greeted when I walk in no matter what time of the day it happens to be. The store is always clean and well lighted. I get great service from employee like Charaty when I check out.

My review is based on the cvs pharmacy and not the actual store itself.
I go to this pharmacy to pick up my birth control every month which isn’t my ideal thing to do, but I’m working on fixing that. I’m saying this because I’m used to getting a whole years worth of birth control unfortunately that isn’t the case anymore; therefore, I’m still getting the hang of driving here every month. The thing that is great about getting my pills from this pharmacy is that it’s close by to where I live and there’s usually never a line to pick up my prescription. The pharmacists behind the counters are always very friendly and everything is well organized. No long lines, no crazy waiting time, and they have everything ready to go for you when you walk up to the register. Another great thing about this place is that they have this texting service that you can be apart of. All you have to do is tell the pharmacist your number so they can put it into the computer, so when your prescription is ready they can text you that exact time that you are able to come and pick up your prescriptions. There are days when I’m not able to pick up my pills the day that they’re ready, so lucky thing is they actually send out reminder text messages to remind you about your prescription. My experience here at this pharmacy is always quick and easy. It’s basically like I’m in the store and then I’m out. The only thing sketchy sometimes is the people that come in here, but that’s not really my business about what medicine they should or should not be taking. I’ll be here next month picking up my pills, so if anyone happens to see me come say hi!

I have been a customer at CVS for over six years. I have been prescribed medication from my doctor that they don’t usually keep in stock. My plan for the last six years was to drop the prescription off early, so they can order the medication and have it ready for me when the «due» date arrives. Today, I attempted to drop off the prescription to be picked up on the 18^th. I was advised that CVS has a new policy where they don’t accept prescriptions early. I would need to come in on the 18^th and when they don’t have it in stock, they would have to order it. Most likely I would be able to pick up the medication on the 21^st. I have to find a new «friendly,» «we will work with you to meet your needs» pharmacy. Thanks CVS, not!

Out of all the CVS’s I’ve been too this one is by far the best. Whenever I walk in I am always greeted with a friendly welcome. I dont frequent this location as much anymore just because I live in PB now instead of by SDSU. However, I do come here still for the Pharmacy sometimes which is always a pleasant experience.
There is also a decent alcohol selection which never hurts to look at when you walk in. The reason this spot only gets 4 stars instead of 5 is because the area it is surrounded by is not the best and there is always a homeless person in front of the store.

Worst pharmacy ever, I thought Walmart pharmacy was bad, this take the cake. Automatic call for pick up never work since I have automatic refill. When you call them, they said it is ready but when you try to pick up the next day, the medicine is return back into stock since I did not pick up on time. This happen for 3 months on the road, every time they said they will fix it.(Yeah right) same crap happen again the next month.

This is a learning pharmacy so the experience can be pretty inconsistent. It spans the range from completely disorganized with long wait times and an atmosphere of chaos to efficient friendly service. The lobby was just remodeled but the staff seems so overwhelmed that it is often littered with trash on the floor and a general appearance of disarray. The drive through is often closed making it much less convenient and you are often approached by panhandlers or avoiding sleeping homeless folks near the door. Most everyone that works there is very friendly and eager to help, but this doesn’t go far enough to fix some of the other larger issues. Such as very long wait times.

Worst pharmacy ever!!! If you can get your drugs somewhere else I would suggest it. I waited in line with 2 people in front of me for a drop off and it took 56 minutes, yes I timed it. Every time I come come to get my prescriptions, it is always an ordeal for them and me. And always takes forever. There are 6 people back there sometimes. What the hell are they all doing besides not helping the customers in front of them??? I like the rest of the staff always nice and helpful. Wish I could say the same for the pharmacy, not nice, don’t smile, not helpful. If you hate your job so much, please go elsewhere!

Whenever I visit this CVS in need of assistance, the staff are always very helpful, and do their best to answer my questions, short of giving medical advice.
The only drawback are all those college kids, and the parking lot is a nightmare.

The drive thru window is broken, the entire pharmacy area is littered with dozens of boxes and plastic tubs, it looks and feels completely disorganized. There’s at least 10 people waiting, and the perscription I called in that was supposed to be ready over an hour ago still isn’t ready.
There’s too many pharmacies nearby to deal with this.
I did give them one extra star because at least the pharmacists are polite.

This location is amazing! It’s a huge store and parking is never an issue. Getting to this location is very convenient. The staff is friendly and knowledgable as well. Plus, this store is open late.
I love CVS’ extra care program. I constantly have endless coupons and refunds. I highly recommend signing up!

Ive never had an issue with the CVS Pharmacy. They are on top of their stuff and always quote you accurate wait times, at least during my experiences. Prices are competitive for all specialty medicine and they are always willing to talk to your doctor for you. As long as the prices stay cheap, I will be back

Love this location, there’s never anybody in here (customer wise). Friendly service. LOVE their ice cream!
